PictBridge is an industry standard that enables direct printing of photo files from cameras to printers, using a USB/PictBridge port and cable. To print photos from a PictBridge-enabled camera, turn on the camera and select the photos you want to print. Verify that the camera is in PictBridge mode, and then connect it to the PictBridge port on the back of the printer using your digital camera’s
USB/PictBridge cable. When the printer recognizes the PictBridge camera, the selected photos are printed using the settings that you chose on your camera.

Ink impurities can lead to numerous types of failures in inkjet printing systems, dragging down image quality and printer reliability. HP achieves exceptional purity with HP Vivera Inks by tightly controlling the quality and composition of each ingredient, by putting dyes through a number of purification steps, and by using a proprietary process to fill each cartridge.
Low-colorant inks produce natural-looking skin tones. State-of-the-art printing systems make use of six or more inks, usually combining dark and light photo inks. The simplest approach to designing light photo inks is to dilute an existing dark ink, but dilution can significantly reduce the fade resistance of a given colorant.
HP designs light photo inks from the ground up with dyes that provide both excellent light-fade resistance and vibrant color, even when diluted.

Secure Bluetooth printing
Sensitive information can be printed confidentially and securely once you establish your secure Bluetooth connection. The HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer includes the following features for secure Bluetooth communications:
Encryption and authentication
Security mode
With device authentication, any Bluetooth-enabled device that attempts to access the printer is prompted for a personal identification number (PIN). When this number is successfully entered, all data sent to the printer is encrypted.
User-defined security levels determine the type of access that Bluetooth-enabled devices have to the printer. When the printer is set in Public Mode (the default), any compatible Bluetooth-enabled device within range can discover the printer. In Private Mode, Bluetooth-enabled devices must know the printer’s Bluetooth address in order to discover it. With the Bluetooth radio turned off, other devices cannot discover the printer and connection attempts are ignored.
