GETTING STARTED
For best shaving performance, it is recommended that you use your new shaver daily
for up to four weeks to allow time for your beard and skin to become accustomed to
the new shaving system.
Ensure the product is switched off. Connect the shaver to the adapter (Fig. A), then to
the mains (Fig. B) and charge for at least 24 hours when using for the first time (Fig C).
F7790- Place your shaver in the charging stand, connect the charging adaptor to the stand
and then to the mains.
After the shaver batteries are fully charged, the charging indicator light will flash (F4790),
the fuel gauge (F5790) or the LCD display (F6790, F7790) will indicate the shaver is fully
charged.
Use product until the battery is low. This is indicated by illuminated red light (F4790, F5790),
or by the digital diplay (F6790, F7790).
Fully recharge for 24 hours every 6 months to maintain battery condition.
When empty, the battery will be fully charged around 2 hours for the F4790, F5790, F6670
and the F7790, to provide 60 minutes (F4790, F5790, F6790, F7790) of shaving time.
The shaver adapts automatically to a mains voltage between 100V and 240V.
CORDED USE
Connect the shaver to the adapter, then to the mains and recharge for 5 min. before using.
CAUTION:
Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the battery life.

HOW TO USE
SHAVING
Make sure your shaver is properly charged
Begin by removing the protective head guard from your shaver.
Switch the shaver on.
Slide the pop-up trimmer up and use to remove long hair first. Then slide down when
finished. (Fig. D -E)
Stretch the skin with your free hand so the hairs stand upright.
Hold the shaving head so all foils touch your skin simultaneously. The independently
floating foils automatically adjust to the contours of your face. Only apply light pressure on
the shaving head whilst shaving and use short, circular strokes. (Fig. F)
To shave without the head pivoting sytem, slide the trimmer up to the first position.
After shaving turn the shaver off.
TRIMMING
Completely retracted (down), the trimmer is out of the way and off,
for when you want to use the screens alone.
Press the trimmer button down with your thumb to get it into this position.
In the middle position, the trimmer locks the pivoting head.
Fully extended (up), the trimmer can be used to trim your sideburns and moustache.
It can also works with the screens , cutting the longer, hard-to-shave hairs
so the screens can get extra close.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Ensure your skin is dry. Always hold the shaver at right angles to the skin so that both foils
are touching the skin with equal pressure. Use moderate to slow stroking. movements. The
use of short circular motions in stubborn areas may obtain a closer shave, especially along the
neck and chin line. DO NOT hold the shaver at an angle whereby only one foil is touching the
skin. This will distort the foil and may cause the cutters to damage the foil.
DO NOT press hard against the skin in order to avoid damage to the foil

CARE FOR YOUR SHAVER
Care for your product to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend you
clean your shaver after each use. The easiest and the most hygienic way to clean the

the shaver is not in use.
DRY CLEANING
Pull the foil assembly up to remove from the hair pocket. (Fig. G )
Thoroughly blow out the stubble from the foils and cutters.
Use the cleaning brush to sweep out the cutters. Do not use the cleaning brush on the
foils. Damage may occur to the holes of the foils. (Fig. H)
Replace head assembly
