Remove these bolts

Remove the seat.

Remove the fuel tank.

Lay the PCIII in the tail section.

Remove the two bolts that hold the coolant reservoir tank to the frame. This will allow room for the PCIII wiring harness to be routed under the frame crossover.

Route the PCIII harness as shown in Fig. A.

6 Disconnect the stock wiring harness from each injector (Fig. B).

Note: This picture shows the #1 injector only. Follow this procedure for all 3 injectors.

7 Plug the PCIII harness in-line of the injectors and stock wiring harness (Fig. C).

Unplug this connector

8 Locate the stock Throttle

Position Sensor connector

(Fig D). Unplug this connection.

Note: This is a 3 pin black connector located directly behind the air box.

9 Plug the connectors from the

PCIII in-line of the stock wiring harness and TPS connector

(Fig. E).

Attach the ground wire from the

PCIII to the negative side of the battery (Fig. F).

Install the PCIII unit to the side of the battery using the supplied velcro. Make sure to use the alcohol swab to clean both surfaces before attaching.

Unplug the O2 sensor from the main wiring harness (Fig. G).

This is a 4 pin black connector located near the right rear of the air box.

Plug the O2 eliminator into the stock wiring harness. The connector from the O2 sensor does

NOT have to be plugged into anything.

Bolt the fuel tank back into position.

Reinstall the seat.

Note: The O2 eliminator allows you to get the full potential out of the bike and the Power Commander.
