Thank you for purchasing a Rocketfish Auto Accessory
Charger for Rocketfish Laptop Power Adapters.
Your charger uses reliable solid state power electronics
and includes automatic safety monitoring circuitry to
protect it and your vehicle battery from overload
conditions.
Your charger is designed for 11.5V to 15V cigarette
lighter outlets or DC accessory outlets in your vehicle.
Important safety information

Do not expose the charger to rain, moisture, or
excessive dust. It may cause shock hazards.
• Operate the charger in a well ventilated area.
Maximum ambient temperature around the
charger must not exceed 95°F (35°C).
• Do not operate the charger if it has been dropped,
or otherwise damaged in any way.
• Do not open the charger under any circumstances.
The charger is not intended to be repaired in case
of failure or component defect. There are no
internal serviceable parts.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the
charger from the DC power outlet before
attempting to maintain or clean the charger.
• Do not connect the charger into any outlets other
that a vehicle’s DC accessory socket.
• Keep away from children.
• Allow for proper ventilation and do not cover the
ventilation openings with anything that may
overheat the charger during operation.
WARNING: Burn and Fire Hazard
The charger’s casing may become warm and may
reach temperatures approaching or beyond 158 °F
(70°C) under extended high power operation. During
operation, keep the charger away from materials that
may be affected by these temperatures.
CAUTION: Fire Risk
This product is rated to draw 9 amperes from a 12V
vehicle outlet. Ensure that the fuse in the vehicle is
rated higher than 9 amperes for safe, proper operation;
however do not replace any vehicle fuse with a rating
higher than recommended by the vehicle
manufacturer. Information on the vehicle fuse ratings
are typically found in the vehicle operator’s manual. If a
vehicle fuse opens repeatedly, do not continue to
replace it. The cause of the overload must be found. On
no account should fuses be bypassed as this may
cause serious damage elsewhere in the electrical
circuit or cause fire.

1 Plug the charger‘s DC input plug into your vehicle’s
DC accessory outlet.
2 Plug the AC output cable into the AC cord
connector on your AC adapter. Make sure that the
connected laptop draws 90 watts or less of power
for continuous operation.
CAUTION: The DC accessory socket in some vehicles
remains powered even when the engine is turned off.
To avoid draining the vehicle’s battery, always unplug
the charger when you are not using it.
