Your charger uses reliable solid state power electronics and includes automatic safety monitoring circuitry to protect it and your vehicle battery from overload conditions. Your charger is designed for 11.5V to 15V cigarette lighter outlets or DC accessory outlets in your vehicle. Important safety information • Do not expose the charger to rain, moisture, or excessive dust. It may cause shock hazards. • Operate the charger in a well ventilated area. Maximum ambient temperature around the charger must not exceed 95°F (35°C). • Do not operate the charger if it has been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way. • Do not open the charger under any circumstances. The charger is not intended to be repaired in case of failure or component defect. There are no internal serviceable parts. • To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the DC power outlet before attempting to maintain or clean the charger. • Do not connect the charger into any outlets other that a vehicle’s DC accessory socket. • Keep away from children. • Allow for proper ventilation and do not cover the ventilation openings with anything that may overheat the charger during operation.
