1. Time, Year, Month, Date, Day Setting:

From the

TIME MODE:

1.1 Push and hold button 4 (SET/LAP) until

12H or 24H appears. Select 12 or 24 hour time by pushing button

3 (START/STOP).

1.2 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

SECONDS, push button 3 (START/STOP) to reset

SECONDS to zero.

1.3 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

MINUTES, push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

MINUTES. Hold for fast advancement while setting.

1.4 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

HOURS, push button 3 (START/STOP) to set HOURS.

If in 12 hour time, make sure AM and PM is correct.

1.5 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

YEAR, push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

YEAR.

1.6 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

MONTH, push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

MONTH.

1.7 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

DATE, push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

DATE. DAY OF

WEEK will set automatically.

1.8 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to lock in settings. Note:

Pushing button 1 (MODE) will lock settings at any point in setting sequence.

The G-1T Durato ™ features a 100 hour capacity chrono with

1/100th accuracy with 12 lap memory recall and best lap feature.

2. Chronograph Usage:

For the

CHRONO MODE:

2.1 Push button 1 (MODE) to

CHRONO mode. CHRONO will appear in the lower left portion of the LCD.

2.2 Push button 3 (START/STOP) to

START chrono.

2.3 Push button 3 (START/STOP) to

STOP chrono. Press start to resume timing if desired.

2.4 From stopped or running chrono, push and hold button

RESET

chrono. Note: if reseting from stop, Chrono will run for 3 seconds before resetting.

Using Lap feature to measure increments of time within an overall timing event:

2.5 From running chrono, push button 4 (SET/LAP) to measure

LAP time. Lap start or SPLIT time will show for 5 seconds in top row. Lap time will show in top row, total time will show in the larger sized second row. If button beeps are on, then you will a double beep when pressing button 4 (SET/LAP) to record lap times.

2.6 To

RECALL first 12 laps, stop chrono and then press button 4 to recall lap times.

BEST lap time will be recalled first, then LAP 1, 2, 3, etc. in the top row.

The second row will show cumulative time as of the lap number showing. Push and hold button 4

(SET/LAP) to fast advance lap number during recall.

3. Countdown Timer Usage:

For the

TIMER MODE:

3.1 Push button 1 (MODE) to

TIMER mode. TIMER will appear in the lower middle portion of the LCD.

3.2 To set countdown time, push and hold button 4 (SET/LAP) until

SECONDS flash. Push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

SECONDS.

3.3 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

MINUTES.

Push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

MINUTES to desired setting.

3.4 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

HOURS.

Push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

HOURS to desired setting. Hours can be advanced to 99. Push and hold button 4 (SET/LAP) to lock in setting.

3.5 Push button 3 (START/STOP) to start countdown.

Timer indicator will begin to cycle.

3.6 To have the countdown

REPEAT, push button 4

(SET/LAP),

REPEAT will appear in the upper right portion of the LCD.

3.7 Alarm will start to sound 7 seconds before set time.

3.8 To

The G-1T features an easy to use alarm that is set to the T1 time zone only. Alarm will sound for 30 seconds if not turned off. The G-1T Durato ™ features two 5 minute back up alarms of 30 seconds each if the alarm is not turned off.

4. Alarm Usage:

To set alarm time and arm

ALARM:

4.1 Push button 1 (MODE) to

ALARM mode. ALARM will appear in the lower right portion of the LCD.

4.2 Push and hold button 4 (SET/LAP) until

MINUTES flash.

Push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

MINUTES to desired setting.

4.3 Push button 4 (SET/LAP) to advance setting to

HOURS.

Push button 3 (START/STOP) to set

HOURS to desired setting. Be sure to make sure the AM and PM are correct if using 12 hour time.

4.4 To

ARM alarm or disarm, push button 4 (SET/LAP).

When armed, an alarm symbol will appear in the lower right of the LCD.

4.5 Push any button to turn off alarm sound.

4.6 If not turned off after 30 seconds, a backup alarm will sound after 5 minutes, and a second backup alarm will sound after 5 minutes if not turned off.

To activate

HOURLY CHIME:

From

ALARM mode, push button 3 (START/STOP) to activate hourly chime. A bell symbol will appear in lower right portion of

LCD. When activated, two short beeps will sound every hour.

EL Backlight:

Push and hold button 2 (EL) from

any mode to activate either 1 second or 3 second EL light on mode.

Deactivate button beep:

Push and hold button 1 (MODE) from any mode. Note: The alarm, countdown timer and chime will still sound if activated.

Care for your Bertucci

Follow these points to ensure that your Bertucci ™ maintains its performance.

1) We recommend rinsing your watch and band with fresh water after exposure to salt water, chlorinated pools, hot tubs, whirlpools, chemicals or soil loads.

2) Do not use push buttons when watch is submerged in water.

3) Keep watch clean and free of debris, especially around the button areas. Use mild soap and a soft brush to clean, do not push buttons when cleaning.

4) Replace band if excessively worn (see page 23).

5) If watch has stopped running, bring it to a local jeweler or a professional watch service shop to have the battery checked

(see page 28).

Warranty information:

Every Bertucci ™ watch is carefully designed, manufactured and inspected to ensure it meets our Promise Of Performance ™ to you. This is backed up by a 3 year warranty on the watch head and 1 year on the band. If defective, please return to the dealer or send to us for warranty replacement.

In the event of a malfunction, please follow these steps (for band only, go to directly to

Step 4).

Step 1) Determine whether the watch is in warranty. If the watch is in warranty, please follow the remaining steps. If it is NOT in warranty, please refer to the

Refurbishment Section (pg.26).

Step 2) Determine whether the watch has been overly abused. If not overly abused, please follow the remaining steps. If the watch IS overly abused (for example, as a result of button pushing while submerged and watch is water damaged, or there is visual evidence of high impact to case or crystal), please refer to the

Refurbishment Section (pg.26).

Step 3) Please have the battery checked. Most malfunctions are simply battery related. If the battery is good, and watch is not functioning

correctly, please follow next step 4. If battery is bad, please refer to

Battery Replacement Section (pg. 28). Note: If battery is replaced, and there is still a malfunction, please follow

Step 4.

Step 4) Please return the defective watch or band to the dealer or send to us for exchange. Please send a note explaining the malfunction or use the

Warranty Coupon (available on our web site:

Please allow 2-3 weeks for the replacement watch.

Refurbishment Program:

Should the watch be out of warranty (more than 3 years old), damaged severely, deemed overly abused, or water damaged as a result of pushing buttons when watch is submerged, we offer our refurbishment program.

The way it works is as follows:

a) Send us your out of warranty or damaged watch head to the below address. Just the watch head, keep your band.

b) Include a note or use the Refurbishment coupon (available at our website:

www.bertucciwatches.com) advising nature of the problem

(if known) and what type of new band you want on the refurbished watch.

c) The note should also include your name, return address and phone number.

d) Include check or money order made out to MH Bertucci, Inc. in the amount based on the refurbishment pricing.

e) We will send out a fully refurbished watch to the address provided in the note.

Battery replacement information:

Your G-1T Durato

™ watch use battery type CR 2032. It is readily available. We recommend that batteries should be replaced by a local jeweler or professional watch service.

Battery life is estimated to be 5 years based on usage assumptions (how often EL light, alarm, chrono, etc. are used per day). Battery life may vary based on actual usage.

Turning watch off:

If watch will not be used for an extended time, it can be turned off to conserve battery life. From the

TIME mode, push and hold button 1 (MODE) and button 4 (SET/LAP) simultaneously until watch shuts off. Push any button to turn the watch back on.
