How to install OverDrive's app on a Nabi tablet

Enable "Mommy Mode" or "Daddy Mode" and download OverDrive for Android

1. Tap the Menu button then select Mommy Mode or Daddy

Mode.

2. Enter your password. When you are done typing, hit the return key to hide the keyboard.

3. Tap Submit.

4. Follow the steps under Option 2 to install OverDrive from the

Nabi's web browser (see reverse page).

Option 2: If you do not have access to Google Play

Store, install OverDrive directly

If you have an Android device that did not come with access to Google Play Store, you can try installing the Amazon Appstore (http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get/android), or follow the instructions below to install OverDrive's app directly.

1. Go to app.overdrive.com and scroll to the bottom.

2. Select download for Android OS 4.0

(or newer) or Android OS v2.2-3.2, depending on your device.

If you're unsure what version of

Android your device is running, go to Settings, then About

[Device] orInfo.

3. Review the license agreement. Tap I

Agree to download the installation file.

4. Pull down the notification bar.

Tap the APK file once the download is complete.

5. If prompted, open the file with the

"Package Installer."

6. If you get the "Install blocked" message, follow these instructions to allow installation from "Unknown

Sources": http://help.overdrive.com/customer/p ortal/articles/1481562. If you don't get this message, continue on.

7. Review the application permissions. Tap

Install to start the

installation.

The app installs.

8. Tap Open to launch OverDrive for

Android, or tap Done to close the installer.
