1. Overview
The OontZ Angle allows you to listen to music, videos and games wirelessly from your Bluetooth device. The OontZ Angle works wirelessly with most
Smartphones and tablets with Bluetooth*. The rechargeable battery will provide up to 10 hours** of continuous listening. With the built-in microphone you can use your OontZ Angle as a wireless hands free personal speaker phone when connected by Bluetooth* to most iPhones or Smartphones. You can also listen to non-Bluetooth devices including PCs and laptops, by connecting them to the
OontZ Angle with the included 3.5mm Audio cable.
*Bluetooth Device Support - The OontZ Angle is Bluetooth version
3.0. It is compatible with almost all Bluetooth devices with the following Bluetooth Profiles:
A2DP - Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
AVRCP - Audio/Video Remote Control Profile
HSP – Headset Profile HFP - Hands Free Profile
The OontZ Angle can support a wireless Bluetooth connection, up to
30 unobstructed feet away from your device.
If your device does not have Bluetooth or the required profiles you can listen to your music using the included 3.5mm audio cable to AUX IN.

1. “VOL+” Button --Press to increase the volume
2. “Bluetooth symbol and phone icon” Button -- Press and hold for about 5 to 6 seconds to go into Bluetooth pairing mode. For incoming calls on speaker phone: press and release to answer a call; press and hold for three seconds to reject a call. During a call: press and release to switch between speaker phone and smart phone use; press and hold for three seconds to hang up a call.

5. “AUX IN” Jack – Used when listening to non-Bluetooth device by inserting in the included 3.5mm audio cable
6. Micro “USB” Charging Port – This port is for charging the OontZ Angle battery only. You can use the included Micro USB cable connected to a PC or laptop; or you can use an iPhone/Smartphone USB wall Power Adapter 5V
7. Charging Indicator Light – When the OontZ Angle is charging, the light will be solid blue; when fully charged the light will be solid red
8. Microphone icon – This is the microphone for the hands free speaker phone
9. Pairing Indicator light – When the OontZ Angle is powered on the light will be blue; when the OontZ Angle is in pairing mode the light will be blue with flashing red; when paired the light will be solid blue

4. Charging the battery
To start, make sure The OontZ Angle has a sufficient battery charge. To charge the Lithium Ion rechargeable battery in the OontZ Angle plug the micro connector end of the USB cable into the
Micro “USB” Charging Port on the
OontZ Angle and the other end into a USB charging source on either your
Desktop, laptop or Smartphone USB wall Power Adapter 5V (not included).
The
Charging Indicator Light
will glow blue, When the OontZ Angle battery is fully charged, the charging indicator light will turn to red. The OontZ Angle will take about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge.
You can use your OontZ Angle when it is charging.
Important Note: It is recommended that you remove the charging cable after the
OontZ Angle is fully charged.
**The OontZ Angle, when fully charged, has a play time of up to 10 hours, depending on volume.. The play time varies for a number of reasons including the volume (the louder the volume, the shorter the play time), device, connection, and music type.

5. Pairing the OontZ Angle to your Bluetooth Device
It is quick and easy to pair and wirelessly connect to your Bluetooth device by following these steps:
Step 1 – Make sure your OontZ Angle has sufficient charge or connect to a charging source. Turn on the OontZ Angle, by sliding the
“ON/OFF” Switch to the on position.
Step 2 – Put the OontZ Angle into pairing mode by pressing and holding down the
“Bluetooth symbol and phone icon” Button, for about 5 to 6 seconds, until the
Pairing Indicator light on the front of the OontZ Angle is blue with flashing red. The blue light with flashing red indicates the OontZ Angle is in pairing mode.
Step 3 – Enable the Bluetooth function on your device and then search/scan for the
OontZ Angle. When the OontZ Angle appears on the list select it and your device will pair, connecting with the OontZ Angle. Very few devices will request a password, if your device does enter “0000” (four zeros).
Step 4 – The Pairing Indicator light will switch to solid blue when the OontZ Angle is paired and connected. (Note: the OontZ Angle will exit pairing mode after about three minutes if not paired to a device)
Step 5 – You can now wirelessly play your music or audio from videos, games
and movies. You can use your device to control the audio and you can use the
“VOL+” Button and the “VOL-” Button on the
OontZ Angle to control the volume.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The OontZ Angle can only be connected to one device at a time. You will need to disconnect the first device from the OontZ Angle before trying to pair to another device: To disconnect a device from the OontZ Angle press and hold the
“Bluetooth symbol and phone icon” Button for about 5 to 6 seconds until the Pairing Indicator light on the front of the front of the OontZ Angle is blue with flashing red. The blue light with flashing red indicates the device is disconnected and the OontZ Angle is in pairing mode.
You can then pair and connect to the next device.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The OontZ Angle will automatically try to pair to the last connected device each time the OontZ Angle is turned on and that device is or comes within range. If the OontZ Angle successfully connects to the last device it will prevent any other device from pairing to it, until that device is disconnected. If you have multiple Bluetooth devices and you are not able to pair to a Bluetooth device, please check the other devices to see if the OontZ Angle has already connected to it.
If the OontZ Angle is connected, please disconnect that device so the next device can be paired and connected.

6. Pairing the OontZ Angle to your Bluetooth laptop
To pair with a laptop please follow steps 1 and 2 in section 5, then follow the
Bluetooth pairing instructions for your laptop or MacBook.
You will need to first set up the OontZ Angle as a device on your system, and then select it from the list of set up devices. The OontZ Angle may show up on the list of Bluetooth devices before it is even set up. Although, it may appear on the list you still need to go through the set up procedure on your system, before you pair to the OontZ Angle.
If your MacBook or iPad or other laptop gives you an option during set up to choose Mono or Stereo, always choose Stereo.

7. Wireless hands free speaker phone:
When the OontZ Angle is connected by Bluetooth to your Smartphone
(and your Smartphone has the Hands Free Profile and Head Set Profile) you will have the Wireless hands-free speaker phone feature enabled.
Answering a call: To answer a call on the OontZ Angle press and release the
“Bluetooth symbol and phone icon” Button
Rejecting a call: To reject a call press and hold the
“Bluetooth symbol and phone
icon” Button for about 3 seconds.
Switching from the hands free speaker phone to your smartphone: press and release the
“Bluetooth symbol and phone icon” Button
Ending a call: To end a call press and hold the
“Bluetooth symbol and phone icon”
Button for about 3 seconds.
Note: 1. The incoming call will be heard on the OontZ Angle and your voice will be picked up by the microphone. Please have the microphone faced towards you and keep a close proximity to the microphone to have your voice clear to the listener.
2. The Personal Speakerphone feature is enabled in Bluetooth mode only, this feature does not function when using an AUX IN connection to your phone.
3. For some smartphones the call/phone Bluetooth audio needs to be enabled as well as media audio to use the speaker phone feature.

8. Connecting to non-Bluetooth (AUX-IN) devices
For your device, laptop, tablet or PC that does not have Bluetooth or support for
Bluetooth audio, you can connect and play music and audio by connecting your device to the
“AUX IN” Jack
on the OontZ Angle with the included 3.5mm audio cable.
Step 1 – Make sure your OontZ Angle has sufficient charge or connect to charging source. Turn on the OontZ Angle, by sliding the
“ON/OFF” Switch to the on position.
Step 2 – Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the
“AUX IN” Jack
(see
Section 3: item 6) on the OontZ Angle and plug the other end into the headphone jack on your device or laptop. You can then play your music and audio on the
OontZ Angle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When in AUX IN mode the audio controls and the volume is controlled from the device only. In AUX IN mode the
“VOL+” Button and the
“VOL-” Button will
not function on the OontZ Angle.
Also Note: When you plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX IN jack of the
OontZ Angle it will take priority over Bluetooth and a Bluetooth device will not be able to play audio. You will need to remove the 3.5mm audio cable from the OontZ
Angle to play audio from a Bluetooth device

9. Troubleshooting
Problem
OontZ Angle will not turn on
Cannot pair the
OontZ Angle with my
Bluetooth device
Solution
Make sure the OontZ Angle battery has sufficient charge.
Make sure the power button is fully in the on position.
Your Bluetooth device maybe out of range-try to move closer to your speaker within 30 unobstructed feet.
Make sure the OontZ Angle is not currently connected to any other device. You will need to disconnect the other device from the OontZ Angle.
Make sure your device supports the transfer of audio.
OontZ Angle appears on my device, but will not connect
Paired
Bluetooth device will not connect
No audio from a
Bluetooth device
Make sure the OontZ Angle is not currently connected to any other device. Disconnect the other device from the OontZ Angle.
Make sure volume is up on your device and the OontZ Angle.
Turn the OontZ Angle off then on again.
Make sure the OontZ Angle is not currently connected to any other device. Disconnect the other device from the
OontZ Angle.
Turn the OontZ Angle off and back on.
Remove the OontZ Angle from the Pairing list on the device and then repair.
Make sure the volume is up on your OontZ Angle.
Make sure your Bluetooth device is playing audio, not paused and volume is up.
Your Bluetooth device may be out of range, move closer within 30 unobstructed feet.
Turn your OontZ Angle off and back on.

Poor sound quality from a
Bluetooth device, laptop or computer
Solution
Your Bluetooth device may be out of range, move closer within 30 unobstructed feet.
If your MacBook, iPad, PC or tablet has an option to select
Stereo or Mono select Stereo.
Try another track or music app.
Turn your OontZ Angle off and back on.
Some devices need to have their WIFI turned off to improve audio quality over Bluetooth.
No Audio from AUX source
Make sure the 3.5mm audio cable is fully inserted into the
OontZ Angle and Device. Some devices have cases that prevent a proper fit and need to be removed to connect.
Make sure your device is on and playing and music is not paused.
Increase the volume level on the device.
Poor sound quality from
AUX source
Make sure the 3.5mm audio cable is fully inserted into the
OontZ Angle and device.
Reduce the volume level on the AUX source.
Remove the charging cable while playing.
