Safety

Intended use

The digital photo album displays photos. The clock function includes a calendar function. Read the manual carefully before the first use.

Due to the great variety of products with external memory connection (USB, SD/MMC, etc.) and their sometimes quite manufacturer-specific functions we can neither guarantee that all devices will be recognised, nor that all operating options that are possible in theory will actually work.

Preparations for use

Unpacking

● Unpack the appliance carefully.

● Check the package contents as described below. If any item is missing, please contact your reseller.

● Remove the labels from the front panel carefully if present.

We recommend that you retain the original carton and packing materials in case it ever becomes necessary to return your product for service. This is the only way to safely protect the product against damage in transit. If you do dispose of the carton and the packing materials, please remember to recycle with due care to the environment.

2.2 Package contents

The following items are included in the received package:

1 Digital photo album

1 AC/DC adaptor + cable

1 Operator manual

1 Stand

● If any item is missing, please contact your reseller.

3. Installation

● Put the appliance on a horizontal flat surface.

● Connect the appliance to the mains. Read the paragraph

"Connecting to the mains".

CAUTION

● Do not put the appliance near a heat source.

● Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight.

3.1 Connecting to the mains

● Connect the adaptor plug on the adaptor cable to the DC connection.

● Connect the mains plug to a wall socket.

Operation

General functions

● To switch on the appliance, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (1).

To switch off the appliance, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (1) once again.

● To select the main menu, press the EXIT button (4).

● To select an item in the main menu, press the LEFT button (2) or the

RIGHT button (3).

● To enter the selected menu, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1).

● To return to the main menu, press the EXIT button (4).

If the appliance does not contain any files, the screen displays the message: NO PHOTO.

5.2 Connecting external memory

To insert a USB device:

● Insert the device in the slot (7).

● Playback will start automatically.

● To remove the device, gently pull it out of the slot.

● This model is not suitable for MP3-players. Only use USB memory sticks!

● Insert the device in the slot (8).

● Playback will start automatically.

● To remove the device, gently pull it out of the slot.

5.3 Setting the calendar

● Select the CALENDAR function in the main menu.

● Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1) to enter the CALENDAR.

● Press the SETUP button (5) to enter the setting mode. Press the PLAY/

PAUSE button (1) to confirm.

● Press the LEFT button (2) or the RIGHT button (3) to set the desired year.

● Press the SETUP button (5) to enter the next setting.

● Press the LEFT button (2) or the RIGHT button (3) to set the desired date.

● Press the SETUP button (5) to enter the next setting.

● Press the LEFT button (2) or the RIGHT button (3) to set the desired time.

● Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1) to confirm.

5.4 Setting the slide show

● Select the SLIDE SHOW function in the main menu.

● Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1).

A thumbnail menu appears on the display.

● Press the SETUP button (5). The following functions are available.

Explanation

To display relevant data of the current picture. This option is available in slide show mode only, while viewing content from a USB or SD/MMC device.

Copy to NOR flash To copy pictures from USB device or memory card to the

NOR flash. This option is available in slide show mode only, while viewing content from a USB or SD/MMC device.

To delete the picture, select YES or NO. Delete

Zoom

Rotate

EXIT

Zoom in/out on the picture. The available zoom ratios are: 5.

Rotate the picture left or right.

Exit the program.

● Press the LEFT button (2) or the RIGHT button (3) to scroll through the menu.

● Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1) to confirm.

5.5 General setup menu operation

To change the initial settings

● To enter the setup menu, press the EXIT button (4), then press the

SETUP button (5).

● To select a menu item, press the LEFT button (2) or the RIGHT button (3).

● To enter the selected menu item, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1).

● To adjust a setting, press the LEFT button (2) or the RIGHT button (3).

● To confirm the setting, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (1).

● To exit to the menu, press the EXIT button (4).

Image display

With this option you can stretch or crop the picture, or return to the original view.

Slide show interval

To set the interval between the slides (3 s, 10 s, 1 min, 2 hr).

Color

BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, HUE & SATURATION: adjust the screen settings.

OSD language

With this option you can select the language for your On Screen Display

(OSD).

Setting

To restore the default settings of the appliance.

Software version

To view information about the software used on the appliance.

Reset the appliance.

USB device is not installed or installed incorrectly. Insert USB device into slot.
