Remove the screw located at the bottom of the HDD enclosure.
Slightly lift the top cover and slide it forward.
Separate both sides and set aside the top cover.
Attach the 2.5” HDD/SSD to the circuit board’s SATA connector.
Carefully replace the top cover back onto the main unit.
Replace the screw that was removed in Step 1.
Connect the MX-25 to your PC with the included cable by attaching the mini USB head to the
enclosure and the red USB plug to your USB port. The black USB plug is only needed when you need
more power to transfer larger files.
8. There is also an option to connect an e-SATA cable which is not included with the MX-25 enclosure.
The USB cable is still needed for power but the PC will automatically use the e-SATA to transfer data.
Note: This enclosure does not support the 10,000 RPM HDDs.
