Thank you for purchasing the Airaid Intake System. Please read the instruction manual carefully before proceeding with the installation. Contact Airaid @ (800) 498-6951 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST weekdays for questions regarding fit or instructions that are not clear to you. Your Airaid Intake System was carefully inspected and packaged. Check that no parts are missing, or were damaged during shipping. If any parts are missing, contact Airaid. The air filter element is protected from direct exposure to water and debris; care should be taken not to drive through deep water. WATER INGESTION IS THE DRIVERS RESPONSIBILTY! The air filter is reusable and should be cleaned using the Airaid Filter Tune-Up Kit periodically.

Installation Instructions. Read Me!
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then, loosen the two hose clamps on the factory intake tube.
2. Remove factory vacuum lines
/ hose from the factory air box and intake tube. (Note: Retain
3/8” vacuum)
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Mass Air
Sensor.
4. With a 12mm socket, remove the three bolts securing the factory air box assembly & remove the factory air box assembly from vehicle.
5. Loosen the two screws on the
Mass Air Sensor and remove the sensor from the factory air box. Retain sensor for later use.
6. Assemble the Airaid Cool Air
Dam using four small screws, washers, and nuts provided.
7. Using two supplied ¼-20 bolts and washers, mount the Airaid filter adaptor to the Airaid
Cool Air Dam.
One spacer under each screw.
8. Using the two 8/32 Allen head screws and two plastic spacers provided, mount the factory
Mass Air Sensor to the Airaid filter adaptor tube. (Note: the plastic spacers are placed between the Mass Air Sensor and the Filter Adapter Tube with the screws sliding
through the spacers).

9. Install two supplied ¼” barbed fittings in Airaid intake tube.
(Note: Install 3/8” fitting in the forward hole and the ¼”
fitting in the back hole) Slide hump hose and two #48 hose clamps on large end of intake tube and slide coupler with two #44 hose clamps on small end of tube. (Note: leave all hose clamps loose for final
assembly)
Secure air dam with three bolts
10. Position the Airaid intake assembly in place of the original, factory assembly.
Using three supplied 8mm bolts and washers, mount the
Airaid assembly using the three original/factory mounting points.
11. Connect the Airaid intake tube to the engine by sliding the coupler over the throttle body
& adjust the intake tube to insure proper alignment from the throttle body to the air filter adaptor. (Note: Leave a gap between the tube and the air filter adaptor to allow for
engine movement)
12. Reinstall the electrical connector to the Mass Air
Sensor.
13. Connect factory 3/8” vacuum line to nylon fitting on intake tube & connect steel tube on intake manifold to ¼” fitting on intake tube with ¼” vacuum line provided.

14. Using supplied 5/8” to ½” barbed connector and ½” x 4” hose; connect the factory hose located by the throttle body to the Airaid intake tube. Use two supplied #16 Snapper clamps to secure the hose to the barbed ends.
15. Mount the Airaid premium air filter inside the Cool Air Dam
& press weather seal onto the top of the Cool Air Dam.
(Hint: start at a corner and
work towards the ends)
16. Double check your work to be certain that all nuts, bolts, and clamps are securely fastened.
17. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
After initial test drive, inspect all clamps and fasteners for proper tightness. In addition, periodically examine all clamps and fasteners for correct tightness.
