Be sure to save your network name and password in the back of this

1. Ensure the WiFi connection on your device is turned on.
2. In your device’s WiFi settings, select your network name.
3. Enter your network password.
4. Confirm you’re connected by browsing.

From a simple network name and password change, to
adjusting advanced channel and device settings, you can
do it all online through your Wireless Gateway.
The Wireless Gateway username and passcode are different from your
WiFi network name and password. If you can’t locate them, check
twc.com/wifisettings.
1. Type http://192.168.0.1 in your browser.
2. Enter the username and passcode for the Wireless Gateway.
3. Select from the menu options to make changes.

QUICK TIPS
• Limiting your home to one wireless network will reduce interference
and connection issues on your devices.
• If you’re using our latest dual band Wireless Gateway and new devices,
turning off the 2.4 GHz channel and 802.11b broadcast may improve
your device’s WiFi speed.
• Rebooting your Wireless Gateway on occasion (unplug, wait, plug in)
will prompt your equipment to rescan your network, and update with
the best channel to broadcast as needed.
• TWC Home WiFi speeds may be limited by your devices, signal
interference, dwelling obstructions and other dynamics.

If you’re connected at home with Extreme or higher Internet, then
you can connect to free TWC WiFi® Hotspots nationwide when
you’re on-the-go. Connect with unlimited access at over 400,000
locations nationwide, including over 2,400 throughout the state,
and save your cellular data.

Depending on your location, you can access one of the
following WiFi networks:
• TWCWiFi – our primary network that also offers guest access
• TWCWiFi-Passpoint – our most secure network
• CableWiFi – when you don’t see TWCWiFi

You can check your data usage, and estimate how much you’re saving
on your cellular data plan by connecting to TWC WiFi® Hotspots. Use

There are three ways to automatically connect to our networks.
You will need your TWC ID and password the first time you sign
in, then your devices will auto-connect when in range.
• Sign in to twc.com/mywifi and register all your devices to connect to
the TWCWiFi network when you’re in range
• Download the latest version of our WiFi Finder app. Save your
credentials to access TWCWiFi-Passpoint, as well as any Boingo
Hotspot available in airports
• Select one of the WiFi networks shown on page 16 when you’re
on-the-go, open a browser and follow sign-in prompts

from the Apple® App Store or Google Play™ Store or at
twc.com/apps to easily locate and connect to hotspots.

USING OCEANIC TIME WARNER CABLE EMAIL
Enjoy convenient features such as an online address book,
message sorting and tons of storage space.
TO SETUP YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT
You will first need the pre-assigned Master email address
and password.
1. Find instructions to Create New Sub User at twcc.com.
2. Click the Support link.
3. Click Internet >.
4. In the TWC Mail section, click on: Our step-by-step instructions.
5. Go to the Manage TWC Mail section.
6. Click “Create a new sub user”.
Record your email and password in a secure place for
future reference.
Your email and password may be required to access
additional features such as TWC WiFi,® apps, and more.
TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD
1. Visit pt.rr.com.
2. If you do not know your email password, select “I don’t know my email
password” and follow the prompts.
3. Otherwise, select “I know my email password and I want to change it.”
4. Follow the prompts and then log in.

2. Enter your email address and password and select LOG IN.

1. Go to selfcare.twcc.com and click on the SELF CARE button
on the navigation bar.
2. Sign in with your primary email account and password.
This is the email address you created during Registration.
3. Select USER MANAGEMENT, then click on CREATE A
NEW SUB USER and follow the instructions on the next page.
