This section provides instructions on how to first-time install and the configuration for WM-100GX High Power Access Point.

There are several LED indicators and button on the front of the
WM-100GX, Please refer to the definitions below:
1. WPS Auto Push Button:
To push the “Auto Push button” to enable the WPS functions.
2. Reset Button:
Press and hold the Reset button for more than 10~20 seconds to reset the
system to default configurations.
3. Physical Ethernet port:
This port is a Private LAN port that authentication is not required for clients
to access network via this port.
4. LAN:
Green LED ON indicates connection, OFF indicates no connection, and
FLASH indicates LAN port Transmit.
5. WLAN:
Green LED FLASH indicates Wireless ON, and FLASH quickly indicates
Wireless Transmit quickly.
6. Power:
Green LED ON indicates power on, and OFF indicates power off.
7. Physical Ethernet port:
This port is for connection to external network or POE switch.
8. DC Injector (12V / 1A):
Attach the power socket here.
Hardware Configuration
Notice
You can deply WM-100GX with on the desktop or use Mounting kits to fix it on the wall, Please refe rhe steps for mounting as below.
Installation the WM-100GX Wall Moun kit (Make sure the Mounting kit is included as pictured below)
9 4 x Screws 9 1 x Device Holder ( Frame) 9 1 x Mounting base
Device Holder Step 1 : Slide the Frame to align with the screw holes
on the Wall AP.
Stand Step 2 : Fasten the Frame tightly with the screws on
the Wall AP (two on each side).
Step 3 : Fasten tightly the mounting base onto the frame.Locate the area you
wish to install the Wall AP and affix the mounting base to desire location.
Basic Setup & Configuration
How to configure WM-100GX through Web
WM-100GX supports web-based configuration. Upon the completion of hardware installation, Can be configured through a PC/NB by using its web browser such as Internet Explorer v 6.0 or later.
♦ Default IP Address : 192.168.2.254
♦ Default IP Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
♦ Default User Name and Password : admin / default
Notice
IP Segment Set-up for Administrator's PC/NB
Set the IP segment of the administrator's computer to be in the same range as100GX for accessing the system. Do not duplicate the IP Address used here with IP Address of
WM-100GX or any other device within the network.
Example of Segment: (Local PC as 192.168.2.100 / WINDOWS XP)
Step 1 : Click Start → Settings → Control Panel, and then “Control Panel” window
appears. Click on “Network Connections”, and then“Network
Connections” window appears.
Step 2 : Click right on “Local Area Connection”, and select “Properties”. In “Local
Area Connection Properties” window, select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”
and click on “Properties” button.
Step 3 : Select “Use the following IP address”, and type in IP Address : 192.168.2.100
and Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0, Press “OK” button to close this page.
Launch Web Browser
Use your browser to access the web management interface of system by entering the WM-100GX default IP Address http://192.168.2.254, in the browser URL field, and then press Enter.
System Login
Once your browser can connect with
WM-100GX success, the Login Page will appears. Enter “root” as
User name and “default” as pssword, and then click OK to login to the system.
Login Success
If you can see the System Overview page after successful login. Now you can try to configure the WM-100GX detail setting. For other detail setting please refer to manual CD.
Quick Installation Guide
Step 4 : Fasten tightly the Wall AP into the frame with the included optional
screws. Line-up and push the faceplate onto frame until it snaps
securely into place.

Basic Setup & Configuration
How to configure IW-100GX through Web

Notice
Please note IW-100GX size and depth should comply with the dimension of the wall or object you want to install. The minimum depth required for IW-100GX is
5.5cm (under this dimension the body will exceed from the panel/wall). The maximum depth required is 7.5cm (the body can be flushed completely into the panel/wall).Before installation please measure the thickness of the wall or object complies with the above. Please review the product specifications for detailed information prior to purchase.
Installation the IW-100GX Faceplate Set ( Make sure the Faceplate
Set is included as pictured below )

Step 1 : Locate the area you wish to install the Wall AP and affix
the frame to the wall. Measure the depth of the Wall and
adjust the mounting bracket accordingly.
Faceplate Step 2 : Fasten the mounting bracket tightly with the screws on
the Wall AP(two on each side).
Step 2 : Click right on “Local Area Connection”, and select “Properties”. In “Local
Area Connection Properties” window, select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”
and click on “Properties” button.
Step 3 : Select “Use the following IP address”, and type in IP Address : 192.168.2.100
and Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0, Press “OK” button to close this page.
Launch Web Browser
