J01 :
PC 3 wire COM Port, cross link with PC
J40: USB interface is pretend to be a virtual COM port at the PC end.
P1:
9v—12v DC input.
Warning: Do not connect both USB and Serial port at the same time.
Testing procedure
1. Mifare module testing

Install attached Demo software < DEMO VB setup V3.0> and <USB Driver V3.0> to the PC.
Connect the J01 with PC by attached D9 cable.
Dis-link the J8
Plug in the ID-20MF-IA into J2 (make sure there is no module on the J3). Connect with the power on
P1, Swich on the power by pressing the swich buton J00. The system starts work when the buzzle
beeps. Use the Mifare Demo software to operate the read and write
Before read or write a card, please detect the module’s baud rate first then change it to the suitable
baud rate.
If testing an ID-20MF-WA, it is necessary to link an external antenna PCB on the J7.
2. EM Module - Wiegand26 output

Short the pin 1 and pin 2 of J4 with a jump linker. ( chose the Wiegand 26 interface by link the (+/-)
and 5v of the Format Selector) ).
Plug in the ID-10/12/20 into J3( make sure there is no module on the J2). Connect with the power on
P1, Swich on the power by pressing the swich buton J00. The system starts work when the buzzle
beeps.
Approching an EM card towards the module, there is a Wiegand26 output from pin 3 and pin 4 of J6
when the buzzle beeps.
If testing an ID-0/2, it is necessary to link an external antenna PCB on the J5.
3. EM Module -ASCII output

Connect the J01 with PC by attached D9 cable.

Format Selector (+/-) with the GND .

Approching an EM card towards the module, there is an ASCII output to the PI when the buzzle
beeps. Use the software <Teminal> to get the output.
If testing an ID-0/2, it is necessary to link an external antenna PCB on the J5.
4. EMModule - Magnet Emulation

Short the Pin 5 and Pin 6 of J4 with a jump linker to choose the Magetic Emulation out put by
connecting the (+/-) and LED(LED/BEEPER of Format Selector
Plug the ID-10/12/20 into J3( make sure there is no module on the J2). Connect with the power on
P1, Swich on the power by pressing the swich buton J00. The system starts work when the buzzle
beeps
Approching an EM card towards the module, there is an ASCII output to the PI when the buzzle
beeps. There is a Magnet Emulation output from pin3, pin 4 and pin5.
If testing an ID-0/2, it is necessary to link an external antenna PCB on the J5.
