OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Before using your mitre saw stand be sure to read
the instruction manual carefully.
1. LOCATION
When determining where to locate the work stand, consideration must be given to the following points.
Is there a suitable mains outlet socket nearby?
Is the floor solid and level?
Is the work stand strong and stable enough to carry the
weight of the machine?
Consideration must also be given to the length and width of
the material to be machined ensuring that there is enough
space at either end and around the machine, to accommodate the largest piece of material to be machined safely.
2.ASSEMBLY
Press in a leg locking catch (See Fig.2) and open out the leg
until it locks into its open position, repeat for the other legs.
With the work stand in its upright position attach the 2

position (See Fig.3). Fit the adjustable roller guides onto the

3.ATTACHING A MITRE SAW
Slide 2 securing bolts into the channel of each of the mitre
saw supports (See Fig.6).
Place a mitre saw (not supplied) onto the mitre saw supports so that the 4 securing bolts locate through the 4
bench mounting holes on the mitre saw base (See Fig.7).
Secure in position using the washers and nuts provided.
Make sure that the saw fits centrally on the stand.
4.ADJUSTMENTS REQUIRED BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
The following adjustments must be made before operating
the saw. This is to ensure accuracy and safety when in operation.
When cutting long pieces of timber the top of the roller
guides must be set to the same height as the mitre saw cutting table (See Fig.8). Loosen the roller guide securing knob
then raise or lower the roller guide as necessary and re
secure the securing knob (See Fig.4).
To adjust the position of the table extensions loosen the
securing knobs, slide the table extension in or out depending on the length of your timber then re secure the securing
knobs (See Fig.9).
