SMART GoWire™ auto-launch cables with SMART Meeting Pro™ PE (Personal Edition) 1.x

software.

Product information

The SMART GoWire cable enables you to use your SMART interactive product quickly and easily, without installing software on your computer.

The updater enables you to install the latest version of SMART Meeting Pro PE software,

SMART Ink™ and SMART Product Drivers on your SMART GoWire cable. Download the updater to a Windows® computer, connect the SMART GoWire cable to the computer, and then use a command line interface to update the software on the SMART GoWire cable.

N O T E S l

Although the updater works only with Windows computers, it can update the software on the

SMART GoWire cable for both Windows and Mac computers.

The updater is unable to update the software on previous versions of the SMART GoWire cable (Part No. GW-MP) to SMART Meeting Pro PE 1.1.

SMART GoWire cable from version 1.0 to 1.1.

Update instructions

To update the software on a SMART GoWire cable with SMART Meeting Pro PE software

1. Connect the SMART GoWire cable to the computer that you downloaded the updater to.

2. Open a command prompt window.

3. Go to the folder where you downloaded the updater and the ISO file.

4. Type the following command, and then press ENTER.

GoWireUpdater.exe "SMART GoWire Meeting Pro PE 1.1.468.0.iso"

The updater updates the software on the SMART GoWire cable. This process typically takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

N O T E

Ignore any autorun messages that appear during the update process.

5. When the updater completes updating the software, disconnect the SMART GoWire cable from the computer.

N O T E

After updating a SMART GoWire cable, disconnect and reconnect it to launch

SMART Meeting Pro PE software and the other software on the cable.
