WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING THE MYSPORTS MOBILE APP?
QuickGPSFix – Get Out on Your Run Faster
Runners are always eager to start their work-out quickly, but many of the GPS watches on the market today slow them down because they take
too long to establish a GPS fix. The TomTom MySports mobile app automatically downloads satellite locations for the next 3 days, so that your
watch can more quickly locate the satellites in their orbit, establish your position, and get you out on your run faster.
You can check the status of your QuickGPSFix data on the status screen (just left from the main clock screen).
A check mark (or tick) confirms the watch has the latest satellite data. An exclamation mark shows you should connect your watch to TomTom
MySports.
Top Tips to Ensure Quickest Possible Fix:
1. Connect your watch to your computer or to the TomTom MySports mobile app every 2/3 days
2. Make sure you are standing still. Running or warming up can slow down the QuickGPSFix
3. Make sure you are outside
4.Your watch can take a few extra seconds to acquire a QuickGPSFix after downloading the latest satellites as it needs to detect your position
in the world. If you run from a similar location regularly the QuickGPSFix will be faster the second time you run

•Watch only needs to be paired once, after that updates are
automatic
• Software update will also include an airplane mode
