Slide the Battery Chamber Cover open and insert the battery, making sure the polarity is correct. Close the Battery Chamber Cover firmly.

Press the Shutter Release Button halfway and look through the Viewfinder. If the LEDs are blinking, the battery is weak.

Align the red Lens Alignment Dot on the lens with the red Alignment Dot on the camera body, insert the lens and turn it clockwise until it clicks and locks into place.

Press the Lens Release Button in the direction of the arrow, turn the lens counterclockwise until it stops, and then remove it from the camera body.

Open the Back Cover, insert an empty take-up spool and a roll of film into the Film Insert, and then insert the Film Insert into the camera body until it stops.

Wind the Film Advance Crank's handle clockwise until it stops. The number '1' will appear in the Film Counter Window and the shutter will be cocked.

Position the 'A' on the Shutter Speed Dial opposite the index mark on the camera body.

Set the Shutter Speed Dial to its 'AEL' position, position the most important part of your subject in the Viewfinder's center circle, and depress the Shutter Release Button halfway.
