CRV Navigator and Accord Navigator are in-car navigation systems that help you get directions to your destination. These systems provide real-time information, including traffic updates, to help you avoid delays. The systems can also be used to find points of interest.

To access the secret menu on the CRV just push MENU + ZOOM

This is the most important of the secret menus:

4.1 System Links

This tests probe the full functionalities of the various navigator devices:

• Navigator ECU, the control unit, a PC running an embedded real-time UNIX

• GPS, the global positioning system device

• ANT, the GPS antenna

• Disp, the LCD screen

• Audio, loudspeakers

• Aircon, the air conditioning subsystem (ACCORD only)

4.2 Tire-Calibrate

This screen allows the displacement of map indicators in the map (“Auto-Tuning” suggested)

4.3.6 Screen Adjustment

Allows for the displacement of the screen via the cursors.

4.4 Yaw Rate

This screen manipulates the Gyroscope system (very delicate):

• Offset, the “central” value means travelling straight down

• Sensor, actual value of the Gyroscope

• CCW Cal Factor, calibration factor in the counter-clockwise direction

• CW Cal Factor, calibration factor in the clockwise direction

4.4.1 Monitor

This screen shows the Gyroscope on the map.

4.4.2 Tuning

This screen allows for changes in the CCW and CW directions (DON’T TOUCH!!).

4.5.3 GPS

This screen shows the detected satellites, their position, elevation, date and time.

Pressing the MENU button for 1 second another screen will be accessed containing even more detailed information about satellites:

• TS, total number of satellites

• AS, antispoofing system activated with signal encription

• HDop, horizontal accuracy

• VDop, vertical accuracy

• Speed, vehicle speed

• Direction, vehicle direction

• PRN, satellite identificator

• ST, status: 00=not connected, 02=connected

• AZI, azimut: 0=north, 90=est, 180=sud, 270=ovest

• EL, elevation: 0=horizontal, 90=vertical

• C/N, signal to noise ratio

• ACC, accuracy or precision

4.5.4 Car Status

This window shows the status of some vehicle devices:

• VSP, set to ON when the vehicle is moving

• BACK, set to ON when a changing speed

• ILL, set to ON when vehicle lights are on

• CHG, set to ON when the vehicle engine is running

4.5.5 Navi ECU

This windows shows some info about the Control Unit:

• High Tmp / Low Tmp, maximum and minimum detected temperatures

• Flash IPL, flash program loader version number

• Flash Application, loaded program version

• RAM, VRAM Overlay and VRAM Base, memory status

• Model, navigator model identifier

4.5.6 Backup Clear

Reset to factory default. All personal preferences are lost.

4.5.7 Force Download

Forces the DVD reload. The following window shows up while loading…

4.6 Cyclic Diag

Cyclic navigation system tests:

• Navigator ECU

• RGB Color

• Test Pattern

4.7 Vehicle Position

This window allows for the vehicle positioning and angle on the map.

4.8 Start Demo Mode

The “demo” mode permits the simulation of the route calculated until the vehicle is moved:

� Select the “Start Demo Mode” function

� Exit the secret menus mode and activate the navigator

� Insert a destination

� The navigator will simulate the route trip to the destination, showing all detailed info

4.9 In-line Diag

Executes the same tests performed during the Secret Menu start-up phase.

4.10Test menu

This function is hidden in the Diagnosis Menu window. To be accessed you must press first press the button, then the ZOOM button TWICE.
