Note: Forward and Print will forward the fax reception to the designated destination and print a hard copy of the fax reception. Forward & Print (If TX Fails) will print the document ONLY if the forwarding fails.

• Enter the forwarding destination using Select from Address Book or using the Abbr.

Dial, Email, FTP, SMB or Group keys.

Note: You can only input ONE selection as your forwarding destination. Therefore, if you need to send to multiple destinations, please store the locations in a group key and then select that group key as your forwarding destination.

If the optional Multi-Line is installed, you can select the line to be used.

• Press OK and Close.

• Press Exit.

TSI User Box Registration

When this function is enabled, incoming faxes will be stored in User Boxes according to the

TSI, Transmit Subscriber ID. The TSI is commonly referred to as the Header, the sending machine’s name and fax number. In this mode, you will use the sender’s fax number as the identifying criteria.

Note: When setting up the TSI User Box, indicate the Forwarding Destination using the Address Book, User Box Number or Registered Destination No.

You can forward to a User Box, E-Mail, FTP, SMB or GROUP. You can ONLY forward to ONE destination. So if you need to forward to multiple locations, they should be stored in a group.

Setting Up Memory Reception

Memory Reception (RX) must be turned on in order to receive a fax reception into a Memory RX User Box



• Input Administrator Password and Press OK (default is 12345678)

• Select “ON” for Memory RX bizhub C352/C300 Fax Job Shops

• Input Memory RX Password (up to 8 digits) and press OK.

• Press OK and then Close and to exit current menu.

• Press Exit.

Setting up Confidential RX (F-Code RX) User Boxes

In order to perform confidential reception, it is necessary to create a Confidential RX (F-Code

RX) User Box. Confidential reception allows you to receive incoming faxes into an “electronic mailbox” instead of printing the reception. The reception remains stored in the device until the intended recipient accesses it by using the proper password.

The following C352/C300 instructions also apply to Setting Up Confidential FX (F-Code RX)

User Boxes on the C450, C351 and C250.


• Press One-Touch Registration.

• The User Box screen appears.

• Enter User Box No., User Box Name and User Box Password.

• Press Fwd to turn on Confidential RX.

• The registration screen 2/2 appears.

• Select the time period you wish to keep the document in the Confidential RX User

Box. Select ON to activate Confidential RX.

• Input the Password for Confidential Reception (F-Code RX) if desired. Otherwise press Cancel or leave blank and press OK twice.

• If you wish to set a password for Confidential Reception (F-Code RX), enter numbers

0-9, * or # up to 8 digits. If you would like to communicate without setting a password, press Cancel or leave it blank and press OK twice.

The Confidential RX Password is the equivalent of the F-Code Password (in the case of the bizhub 350/250/200 Series, this would be the F-Code SID/PWD). Since the

User Box has a password to protect against unauthorized access, it isn’t necessary to enter the Confidential RX password. However, this setting may be required in high-level security environments.

Notes:

The sending device must be advised of the Confidential RX (F-Code RX) User Box

Number (in addition to the main fax number) prior to the transmission. It is the User

Box Number that is regarded as the “F-Code” (confidential mailbox), not the User

Box Password or Confidential RX Password (if entered).

The User Box password protects unauthorized access to the Confidential RX (F-

Code RX) User Box.

The Confidential RX Password is the equivalent of the F-Code Password (in the case of the bizhub 350/250/200 Series, this would be the F-Code SID/PWD).

Preview Fax Receptions Prior to Printing

The ability to preview faxes stored in the Memory User Box, TSI User Box and F-Code

RX Box saves customers’ money because they only print what they need and are spared the expensive of printing junk or unwanted receptions.

• Open PageScope Box Operator application.

• Select device that you want to connect to on the network.

• Once connected to the device, PageScope Box Operator will display the User Boxes stored on the selected device.

• Select the desired User Box and enter password and Press OK.

• The document(s) stored in the user box will be displayed.

• On the [View] menu, click [Thumbnails], or click the corresponding button in the toolbar.

• Select a size on the [Thumbnail Size] submenu of the [View] menu.

• Double click on the open document if the thumbnail is not sufficient.

NOTE: Only the first page of data that consists of multiple pages is displayed.

Restricting Fax Broadcast

When you turn on “Restrict Fax Broadcast”, users can’t manually select multiple numbers

(destinations) to broadcast or select a group. When you select a group, the user can only select ONE (1) destination stored within the group. The user is NOT allowed to select “ALL” the number stored in the group.

• From the application, select the C352 or C300 Print Driver by pressing File Print

• Press Properties Tab

• Press Fax Tab

• Click on FAX as the Mode Selection

• Specify desired settings for Fax Resolution, Cover Pager, ECM Mode,

International TX and V.34

• Enter the desired fax number using the address book (numbers must be pre-programmed) or manually input the number

• Press Add Recipient to designate that the fax number should be added to the Recipient List
