Frequently asked questions

How do I enroll a new card?

To enroll a new card, present the enrollment card to the reader. The reader will beep and the LEDs will light up. All tokens in the pack are now valid.

How do I add additional tokens?

When more tokens are required, a new pack may be purchased from your normal supplier. To add additional tokens, present both the original enrollment card and the new enrollment card to the reader. The reader will beep and the LEDs will light up. All tokens in the pack are now valid.

How do I bar a lost or stolen card?

To bar a lost or stolen card, take its corresponding shadow card from the card pack and present the shadow card to the reader. This will bar the token from that reader. If the token is presented, the red LED will flash and access will not be granted.

How do I adjust the door open time?

To adjust the door open time, present the door open time function card to the reader. The reader will start beeping. Wait for the required period you wish the door to remain open. Present the card again at the end of the period to set the open time. The beeping will stop.
