The 650.510 Infrared Thermometer provide an easy to use, portable
way to measure temperatures quickly and without contact, without
the danger of getting burned, shocked or injured by moving par ts, or
having to deal with hard-to-reach areas or hazardous materials. The
units are designed to be held away from the eye, so there's no blocked
vision in potentially dangerous environments.
Both instruments feature switchable °F or °C readout, rugged,
environmentally sealed optics that can take those tough field
conditions, and proven circuit design that delivers half-second
response, excellent accuracy and +/-1 % repeatability.
650.510 Offers More Versatility
The 650.510 provides emissivity adjustable from 0.3 to 1.0, allowing
more accurate temperature measurements on a wider variety of objects.
This essentially adjusts the gain of the unit to compensate for the
surface radiation efficiency of the measured object - par ticularly
impor tant when measuring the surface temperature of oxidized metals,
which can typically vary from 0.2 to 0.8. Features include a selectable
Hl or LO alarm with adjustable set point, audible and visual indications,
last: reading recall, and the ability to track the highest temperature
measured. Min. T, and AVG functions are also built in.
The switchable backlight option allows better display visibility in low
light conditions. Two carrying case accessories are offered. The
650.510 soft carrying case includes a wrist strap, belt clip and padded
pouch with two belt loops.
The 4566T carrying case is a heavy duty unit that is both dustproof
and waterproof.
