Introduction
OPERATION MANUAL
This Flash Strobe has unique appearance in compact size.It is made of high temperature resistant
engineering plastics which enhances the safe performance. With advanced reliable circuit design and
well chosen key components, NEEWER ensure this strobe of good quality,reliability and stability.
Plug‐in tube desig,users can load and unload it by themslves. When configured with other studio
accessories,it can help to set up small size personal studio,suitable for children and artical photography
and photography for small products,also providing light source for hairdressing and background.

Do not disassemble or modify
Failure to observe this precaution could result in electric shock or product malfunction. Should the
product break open as the result of a fall or other accident, please send the defective back to the
professional technicians for maintenance
Keep dry
Do not handle with wet hands or immerse in or expose to water or rain. Failure to observe this
precaution,could result in fire or electric shock.
Do not use in the presence of flammable gas
Failure to observe this precaution could result in explosion or fire.
Keep out of reach of children
This device contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard. Consult a physician immediately if a
child swallows any part of this device.
Do not expose to high temperatures
Do not leave the device in a closed vehicle under the sun or in other areas subject to extremely high
temperatures. Failure to observe this precaution could result in fire or in damage to the casing or internal
parts.
Caution
• Even unplugged, the unit maintains considerable internal voltage. There are no user serviceable parts
inside. Do not disassemble! Refer to authorized service center for any repairs.
• Do not exceed 75 Watts modeling lamp. The excess heat can damage the unit.
• Do not keep long time in using the modeling light, otherwise the modeling lamp will be deformed, and
the flammable accessories such as soft box will get burnt.
• When using a snoot, do not keep long time the modeling lamp on, or over frequent flashlight (not over
six times for one minute). Overheating will result in damages for strobe casing and studio light.
• Do not touch the bulb when it is hot!
• The Flash can be used at Full Power for 5 Minutes continuous. Then it should be cooled down for 2 to
3 minutes. Overheating will occur if used continuously without cooling down.
• When not in use, disconnect from the power supply
• Avoid sudden impacts as this can damage the flash tube and/or modeling lamp!
• High voltage inside the tube outlets, please do not touch it. Hands should be dry with insulated gloves
when load/unload the flash tube and modeling lamp.

Operation
Plug on the power socket beforehand, and then press the power switch. The red indicator lamp will light
on and it begins to recharge the main capacitor. After that the green indicator lamp will light on and the
strobe is ready for flash by various trigger modes. You can press“TEST” button to fire the flash without
taking a picture.⑤ represents for the power output control, which ranges from full light to 1/8 .
Tube Replacement
Turn down the power before replacing the flash tube and wear insulated gloves. Then, loosen the iron wire
on the tube, keep a balanced hold on the two feet of the flash tube and pull out the old tube gently. Take
down the feet casing to put it on the new one. Hold two feet of the new tube, and target directly towards the
two copper outlets, then push them slightly in. Tighten the iron wire to fix the flash tube.

Precautions for Use
Disconnect the power when it is idle;
Please use high-quality and high temperature resistance soft box;
Please do not use the Flashlight in environment with chillness, humidity or high temperature;
Due to the high voltage inside the product, non-professionals are prohibited to dismantle the Flashlight;

Please do not touch or directly watch with naked eyes the flashtube;
If the product has failures or is wetted, it can be continuously used only after it is repaired by
professionals;
Disconnect the power when doing maintenance work or cleaning;
Keep the product out of the reach of children.
Note :
We are constantly upgrading the program of our flash unit to meet the new demand in the market. As
such, some of the new changes made to the specifications may not be updated in this manual.
