Highlight the Server Entry
Select Connect
Enter the password for the digipass (default is digipassword)

Expand Login Roles
Select and right click the digipass user
Select properties
Select the Definition tab
Enter the new password
Uncheck the “Account expires” option
Select the ok button

Changing the password in Windows with the PostgreSQL Shell
Click on the start Menu All Programs PostgreSQL SQL Shell (psql)
You will be presented with the following values separately. The default values should
be fine, simply hit the enter button for the next value. If a value needs to change
enter the new value and hit the enter button. Once you specify the user you will be
presented with the password to logon to the server.

Alter the password with the following command:
ALTER USER digipass WITH PASSWORD 'Test1234';

Changing the password in Linux
Login to the IDENTIKEY Authentication Server Chroot environment:
vds_chroot <install dir> /bin/bash
Switch to postgres user:
su postgres
Login to PostgreSQL server as the postgres user:
psql -U postgres -d identikey
Alter the password:
ALTER USER digipass WITH PASSWORD 'Test1234';

Windows
After the password has been changed for the digipass user there are a couple places
where this value needs to change.

Reporting Scenario
On a Windows OS these settings can be changed through the IAS Configuration Utility
or the IAS Webadmin. On a Linux system these values can be changed in the IAS
Webadmin.

Select the Storage section
Click the Edit button
Enter the updated password
Click the Save button

Highlight Database

Click Apply and OK
