Communication and programming features
LCD display and keypad
Integrated keyboard and screen allow for easy programming of standard tightening strategies directly on
the tool and without the need of additional controllers
and software.
USB connection
Tool USB port can be used for programming all advanced
tightening configurations with the Ingersoll Rand ICS
Connect software and a computer – up to 8 programmable
fastening configurations.
Cycle data stored on the tool (up to 1200 end-of-run
data) can be retrieved to a computer equipped with ICS
Connect.

Tools equipped with a wireless communication
option (QXX models) can be connected to a
Process Communication Module (IC-PCM) for
remote process control, tool programming and
end-of-run data archiving.
IC-PCM Process Communication Module used
together with the ICS Connect software allows
for wireless tool programming and adjustment
of all advanced tightening strategies on up to 10
connected tools. It allows for real-time end-of-run
data collection and communication to a database
or assembly line control system via an Ethernet,
Fieldbus or I/O connection.
The IC-PCM can also select the right tightening
strategy programmed on the tool based on input
received from a connected equipment such as
socket or bit selector, barcode reader or printer.
