Kingston’s DataTraveler® 4000 G2 offers high-end security with FIPS 140-2 Level 3
certification and a tamper-evident seal for physical security to detect and respond to
attempts at access, use or modification of the cryptographic module. The entire drive
is FIPS certified, not just the controller, and its 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption
in XTS mode safeguards 100 percent of even the most sensitive data. For added peace
of mind, the drive locks down and reformats after ten failed attempts and functions in
read-only access mode to avoid potential malware risks.
Organizations can customize drives to meet internal corporate IT requirements. Cologo, serialization numbering, dual password, number of attempted password entries,
minimum password length and customized product identifiers are all also available
through customization.
SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) technology means users don’t have to compromise transfer
speeds for security. Companies can add the drive to their standards list with confidence
since its industry-leading NAND and controller design allow for NAND to be
interchanged without requalification and certification of security features. DataTraveler
4000 G2 is TAA-compliant, to meet a frequently requested corporate and government
IT requirement.
