Shared Memory. Up to 224 MB of system memory may be allocated to support graphics, depending on system memory size and other factors.
DDR2. The total amount of usable memory available will be less depending on the actual system configuration. Dual-channel memory requires 2 each of the same capacity memory DIMMs.
256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M TurboCache™: The total of local and shared system memory used by this graphics card is up to 256MB. Local on-board memory is 64MB on Latitude D620 systems and 128MB on Latitude D820 systems.
On the D620 up to192 MB of system memory may be allocated to support graphics. On the D820 up to 128 MB of systems memory may be allocated to support graphics. The amount of system memory allocated is dependent on system memory
size and other factors.
For hard drives, GB means 1 billion bytes and TB equals 1 trillion bytes; actual capacity varies with preloaded material and operating environment and will be less.
Modem download speeds are limited to 53Kbps. Upload speeds are less (about 30Kbps). Speeds can vary by line condition and modem manufacturer. Analog phone line and service required.
The term Gigabit Ethernet does not connote an actual operating speed of 1 GB/sec. For high speed transmission, connection to a Gigabit Ethernet server and network infrastructure is required.
DVD-ROM The DVD region code can be changed up to 5 times and will then be locked on the final region code selected. The region setting applies to commercial DVD movies only and in no way affects use of DVD media for software
applications.
DVD+/-RW: Discs burned with this drive may not be compatible with some existing drives and players; using DVD+R media with +RW/+R drive provides maximum compatibility; R=capability to burn disc once; RW=capability to burn disc multiple
times. Special media/disc required, and third party software may also be required for certain applications.
For writeable storage devices, MB means 1 million bytes; total accessible capacity varies depending on operating environment.
On-site service: Technician, replacement part or unit (depending on service contract) will be dispatched if necessary following phone-based troubleshooting. Subject to parts availability, geographical restrictions (on site and/or next business
day service not available in some locations) and terms of service contract. Service timing dependent upon time of day call placed to Dell. Defective unit must be returned or paid for. Replacements may be refurbished.
Expected starting weight Starting weight of 2.00Kg is with Travel Module, 4 cell battery, integrated graphics and 14.1 WXGA display. Weights vary depending on configurations and manufacturing variability.
CompleteCover service is available for personal computers and Axim PDAs. It excludes theft, loss, and damage due to fire or intentional damage. Customer may be required to return unit to Dell. If CompleteCover Guard is selected it covers
theft from any locked office, home or vehicle in country of purchase. For complete details refer to CompleteCover service agreement found at www.dell.com.au/services.
Where wireless access is available. Additional access charges apply in some locations.
