TWL541C(P) supports 54Mbps transmission rate, fully compliant with the
latest IEEE802.11g/b wireless communication standard.

TWL541C(P) wireless adapter offers the fast, reliable, cost-effective

Chapter 2: Installation Guide
Here we will show you how to install the software program of the wireless
LAN Adapter with the CD ROM enclosed. We have integrated the driver
program and configuration program together in the software packet of the
CD. So when you install or uninstall the configuration program, the driver
program will be installed or uninstalled automatically.
We will display under Windows XP operating system, for installation steps
under other operating systems, please refer to this manual and related
notice during installation.

Shut down your computer, please insert TWL541P into the PCI slot of
the computer, and start the computer (Please insert TWL541C into the
Cardbus slot of your lap-top computer). And a dialogue box of “Found
New Hardware Wizard” would appear.
Here, you can select “Cancel”, because while installing the software,
the driver program will also be installed automatically. Or, you can also
select “No, not this time” and then click “Next” to install the driver
program in the CD.

Please insert the CD into your CD ROM of the PC, open “My
Computer>CD
ROM> TWL541C(P)”, and then double click the icon.

At this step, you may choose the preferable Language. Then click
“Next”.

Here you will see the Welcome notice, please select “Next”.

Dialogue box of “Select installation Directory” appears as follows, you
can click “Change” to change the installation directory, and then click
“Next”.

After confirming the installation information, please click “Next” to
continue.

During installation, the following dialogue box will appear, please select
“Continue Anyway” to continue. This will not affect your utility of the
configuration software and your computer’s security.

When the installation completes notice will appear as follows, please
click “Finish” to complete.

Notice: TWL541C(P) is equipped with its own management program,
please use this program to do the function configuration. You can do this
through “Start>All Programs>Tenda > TWL541C(P)” or through double
clicking the icon “TWL541C(P)” on desktop.

Chapter 3: Configuration
This configuration software enables you to manage TWL541C(P), all the
functions can be configured through this software. Please click the icon of
“Start”>“All Programs”>”Tenda”>”TWL541C(P)”, the configuration interface
of the software will appear.
3.1 Network Status
This is to display the working status of your wireless adapter: Status,
Network SSID, Network Type, Network BSSID, Security, Link Speed, IP
Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, etc.
3.2 Profile Management
You can pre-set and save your configuration parameter in the Profile
Manager, and save several different Profile Manager files meanwhile to
adapt the demands of the network.

Profile Setting: customized setting for Network information, Security,
Protocol, and you can establish a profile setting at the “Create” settings.
Network Info

Profile Name: The name of the profile.
Network SSID: It’s used to differentiate different working group, for any
networking client unit to register and communicate, if
without this SSID the client unit may not access into the
specific wireless networking.
Network Type: Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc.
Wireless Mode: Auto or IEEE802.11b.
Notice: If the Ad-Hoc mode is chosen, you can set the channel and select
the mode of IEEE802.11g.

mode, transmit power, transmits rate and the threshold value of the field.

802.11a: An IEEE wireless networking standard that specifies a maximum
data transfer rate of 54Mbps and an operating frequency of 5GHz.
802.11b: An IEEE wireless networking standard that specifies a maximum

transfer rate of 11Mbps and an operating frequency of 2.4GHz.
802.11e: Also known as WMM.This standard provides Quality of Service for
