Inclusive GST: $438,000
The price of the vessel includes in the water delivery at
Runaway Bay marina on the Gold Coast in Queensland with
the specification as detailed herein. The applicable vessel
registration and insurance is the purchaser's responsibility.
The hull and structure is warranted against manufacturing
faults and defects for a period of 12 months. The product
warranty of installed equipment is provided by the
manufacturer or agent of the equipment supplied and is
subject to their respective warranty terms and conditions.
Argus Boats warrants the installation portion of installed
equipment for a period of one year from the date of
The Argus E35 is a Roger Hill displacement hull catamaran
design with a sedan bridge deck cabin configuration with
outboard engines. Argus Boats Pty Ltd is licensed by Roger Hill
to build this design.
The configuration has two double sleeping cabins forward, a
central saloon/helm bridge deck, a port side galley, a
starboard side head and an aft deck area.
The vessel is equipped with two Suzuki DF90 four stroke
outboard engines for propulsion. Electrical power for
refrigeration and general use is predominately supplied by
solar panels.

Underwater Protection: The underwater sections are
vinyl ester resin finished with a post coating of an
epoxy barrier coat before the application of anti
fouling paint.
The deck areas and saloon roof are finished in gloss white gel
coat with moulded slip resistant patterns on applicable
horizontal walking surfaces.
The forward deck area features a central nacelle that houses
the anchor winch, chain, anchor and wet mooring gear. All
anchor gear is below deck level with access via two hatches.
Two trampoline style nets connect the nacelle to each bow
where hatch access is provided to dry storage lockers. Another
two deck hatches provide light and ventilation to the forward
sleeping cabins.
The aft deck area is accessible from port and starboard
boarding platforms (through swing gates). Port and starboard
stairs on each side of the saloon cabin lead to the forward
deck area. The aft deck has an open plan design that suits the
provision of owner supplied deck furniture.
Port and starboard aft deck floor lockers are available for
storage. Three doors in the aft beam provide service access to
engine control equipment, starting battery and a 240 volt
shore power inlet facility.
The saloon roof is used to mount the vessel solar panels and
to serve as a “roof rack” stowage area for a dinghy, crab pots
or other gear. Stainless steel hand rails double as gear tie
down points. An equipment tower is mounted on the central
roof to accommodate the radar dome, navigation light, VHF
radio antenna, cellular antenna and television antenna. Solar
panels are mounted forward of the tower and an option is
available to add additional panels aft of the tower.
General Layup: Composite layup of fibreglass with
structural foam core in a female mould using vinyl
ester resin on outside laminates below the main
chine and polyester resin elsewhere.
Surface Finish: Gloss white gel coat outer surface.
Visible bilge areas finished in white flow coat with a
brown fleck.
Hull: Solid fibreglass bottom with foam cored
topsides and watertight forward and aft bulkheads.
Keel: Structural foam cored fibreglass keel.
Deck and Saloon Top: Foam cored fibreglass with a
moulded slip resistant pattern.
Deck Join and Rub Rail: Deck is bonded to hull at
gunwale with a rubberised epoxy adhesive. Outer
join is covered by an anodised aluminium rub rail.
Deck Fitting Fastening: Reinforced fibreglass G10
plates integrated into deck layup. Plates are drilled
and tapped to receive stainless steel socket head

Port Lights: Maxwell port lights are fitted in the port
and starboard staterooms, saloon roof, galley and
Deck Lockers: Deck lockers are moulded fibreglass:

Cleats: Four anodised aluminium mooring cleats are
fitted each side for attachment of bow, spring and

Roof Rails: Stainless steel hand rails are fitted to the
saloon roof sides. The rails also serve as a tie down
facility for gear mounted on the saloon roof.
Deck Rails: Stainless steel railings extend from a
forward pulpit to the back gates.
Fridge/Freezer: A top load fridge/freezer is fitted
under a solid surface counter top at the companion
way bulkhead on the port side of the aft deck.
Aft Facing Seat/Ice Box: A seat is located on the
starboard side of the companion way bulkhead. The
under-seat cavity is insulated for use as an ice box. A
storage locker is provided under a small counter top.
Power Outlets: A weather rated AC outlet and a 12
volt “lighter socket” are installed on the port side
cabin fascia for use at the counter top. A 50-amp / 12
volt DC Anderson connector is available at the aft
Deck Lighting: The deck has Aft LED flood lights, LED
underwater lights, LED floor lights, LED down lights
and forward flood lights.
Deck Wash-down: Pressurised fresh and sea water
wash down outlets are provided at the starboard side
cabin fascia. A fresh water outlet is provided at the
port side boarding platform. A fresh water and sea
water outlet is provided at the forward port anchor
well hatch.
Boarding Ladder: A stainless steel boarding ladder
attaches to the port side aft deck platform.
The saloon has an airy open style plan. An L shaped dinette
to starboard has a fixed table and seating for four adults. A
settee to port seats three and divides the downstairs galley
from the saloon interior. Both dinette and settee seats double
as single bunks. A cabinet under the helm bench seat has a
mounting facility for the aft facing television set and
stereo/dvd player.

A serving shelf mounted on top of the settee back is
accessible from the saloon and the galley. The ceiling has
vinyl covered panels while the floor is covered with a wood
pattern vinyl strip plank.
Front Glass: Four panels of 8mm toughened glass.
The two inner panels are fixed. Each of the outer
panels are hinged at the top and open and close
using a motorised strut.
Side Glass: Single fixed panels of 6mm toughened
and tinted glass with solid surface architraves.
Rear Glass: Two frame-less 6mm toughened glass
windows are top hinged and open outwards with
adjustable support struts.
Companion Way Door: A frame-less 8mm toughened
glass door is fitted.
Aft Bulkhead: Gloss gel coat finish inside and out.
Hatches: Two hatches are located above the helm
Lighting: Two spot lamps above dinette, two spot
lamps above settee, port and starboard red and
white down lamps each side of helm console, floor
lamps in settee and dinette bases, floor lamp at each
Upholstery: Saloon furniture is finished in a quality
fabric with an owner choice of pattern and style. A
$55 per linear metre allowance is set aside for fabric
cost. Optional fabrics are available to buyers choice.
Power Outlets: Both 240 volt and 12 volt power
outlets are located on the settee fascia for powering
laptops and appliances at the dinette table.
Forward Staterooms
The forward staterooms are similar in layout and
appointment. Locker storage is provided at the chamfer panel
area with under mattress access. Open locker storage is
located at the outboard companionway. Hanging lockers with
door and drawer stowage is located forward of each
companion way. The ceilings and walls are lined with a
combination of foam backed vinyl and wood grain patterned
panels. The outer topsides are finished in gloss gelcoat. The
floor is covered with a wood pattern vinyl strip plank.

Lighting: Two LED reading lamps on forward
bulkhead and pelmet strip lights on forward bolkhead
and outboard cabin side.
Ventilation: Cabin fan on aft bulkhead. Port light and
overhead hatch with sliding fly screen provide flow
through ventilation.

Doorway: Open frame doorway with option for
privacy curtain.
Gloss gel coat finish with radius corners and non skid floor
with drain to grey water pump well. A solid surface counter
top with integral sink is fitted to the port side. A solid door is

on counter fascia.

A solid surface counter top with a stainless steel sink is fitted
to the inboard side. The counter wraps around the aft section
to the hull topsides.
Storage lockers extend inboard under the port side settee.
The inboard and outboard sides of the companionway have
shallow wall lockers. The galley floor is finished in wood grain
patterned vinyl floor planks..
Cook Top: Two portable induction cook tops are
Microwave Oven: Provision is made for mounting a
microwave/convection oven in a recessed locker at
the aft bulkhead. See options page for suitable ovens.
Water Supply: Hot and cold pressurised water is
available at the sink.
Ventilation: An overhead hatch and side port light
provide natural ventilation. A 12 volt DC fan is
mounted above the counter top at the aft bulkhead.
An extraction blower is fitted at the top of the
microwave oven facility.
Refrigeration: A 12 volt DC refrigerator is installed
under the aft counter top (see engineering section).
AC Power Outlets: AC Outlets are fitted to the
splash-backs of the galley bench.
Lighting: A single overhead light is located centrally
above the companionway. LED strip task lights are
mounted under the longitudinal serving bench and
athwart-ship shelf on the aft bulkhead.

The helm is recessed into the forward saloon bulkhead. An
upholstered bench seat mounted on top of a cabinet provides
seating for two people facing either forward or to the side.
There is sufficient space in front of the seat to stand while
helming the vessel.
One or two people can stand on the seat to view outside of
the vessel through the two overhead hatches. Two large
worktops are located either side of the helm seat.
A binnacle extends aft of the front glass screen to
accommodate navigation instruments. An angled dash panel
provides a mounting location for switches and controls. The
instrument and dash panels are modular in construction to
allow for future replacement of electronics.
The vessel is delivered with a comprehensive electronics

mounted on a saloon roof mast.
• Sounder: Raymarine DSM30 Digital Sounder with 600
watt in-hull transducer.
• Autopilot: Raymarine SPX10 autopilot with ST8002
control head and hydraulic pump.
• VHF Radio: A Raymarine 49E VHF marine radio and
roof top antenna is fitted.
• NMEA-2000: The vessel is equipped with an
advanced NMEA-2000 network monitoring system
with engine displays available on the Raymarine
C120W. A Garmin GMI10 provides backup
• AIS Receiver: A Raymarine AIS250 Automatic
Identification System receiver is fitted.
• Anchor Chain Counter: A Maxwell AA150 chain
counter displays the length of anchor rode deployed.
• EPIRB: A McMurdo emergency positioning beacon is

• Television: A 32” LCD/LED TV of the builders choice is
mounted on the aft face of the helm seat cabinet. It
is supplied with a roof top antenna.
• DVD Ipod Player: A Fusion DVD / Ipod player is
installed on the side of the helm seat cabinet. A
powered sub woofer system with cube speakers is
installed at the seat cabinet. A remote control is
fitted at the aft deck.
• Cabin Fans: Two cabin fans are fitted, one each side
of the helm. They swivel to ventilate aft or face the
centre windscreen for demisting when necessary.
• Window Opening: The two outer facets are hinged at
the top and are opened at the bottom by individual
motorised struts controlled by switches at the helm.
• Wipers: The central port and starboard helm
windscreen glass facets are fitted with a pair of Roca
wiper systems including a 560 mm wiper blade
mounted on a 550 mm pantograph arm. The wipers
are synchronised and have delayed, low and high
speed controls.
• Washers: The two wiper arms are fitted with
windscreen washers sourced from the vessel fresh
water supply.
• Underwater through hull fittings: Reinforced plastic
skin fittings with plastic ball valves and skin fittings to
CE standards.
• Above waterline through hull fittings: Reinforced
plastic skin fittings to CE standards.
• Anchor:A Sarca Excel No 4 galvanised steel anchor is
fitted to an integrated under deck bow roller
• Anchor Rode: Vessel is supplied with 65 metres of 8
mm galvanised chain.
• Anchor Bridal: A supplied anchor bridal attaches to
pad eyes on the inside port and starboard hulls.
• Anchor Windlass: A Maxwell 12 volt DC RC8-8 flush
mount windlass is fitted with a reversing solenoid.
The windlass is integrated under a deck access hatch.
• Anchor Wash: A pressurised sea water outlet and a
pressurised fresh water outlet are located under the
anchor access hatch.
• Anchor Windlass Control: A remote control up-down
switch is mounted at the helm and a wireless remote
control is commanded by a key fob remote. A
Maxwell chain counter is provided at the helm

• Fuel Tanks: 2 x 300 litre (nominal capacity)
polyethylene fuel tanks. Tanks are fitted with level
sensors connected to the NMEA-2000 network.
• Fuel Tank Fittings: 316 stainless steel deck fillers and
• Fuel Delivery: 2 x fuel filters , priming bulbs, fuel
shut-off valves and fire rated fuel lines.
• Fresh water tanks: 2 x 200 litre (nominal capacity)
integral fresh water tanks are located under the
forward cabin floors. Stainless steel deck fillers and
breathers service each tank.
• Fresh water delivery: Integral pipes connect the
water tanks to the aft head bulkhead pumping
• Pressurised fresh water system: An electronic 17
lpm 12 volt DC freshwater pump is installed. The
pump pressure side is fitted with a charcoal water
filter. Each tank has a NMEA-2000 level sender.
• Pressurised hot water system: An electric hot water
system provides heated water to the galley and
shower. Primary heating is provided by a heat pump
system that recovers waste heat from the on board
refrigeration systems. Secondary 240 volt heating is
available from the inverter, shore power or optional
generator. The unit is mounted under the
fridge/freezer compartment on the port side.
• Outlets: Hot and cold fresh water is available at the
galley sink and head sink. Cold water deck hose
outlets are available at the aft deck and port anchor
hatch. A 5 metre hose and nozzle is supplied.
• Pressurised sea water system: A feed is taken from a
through hull fitting mounted on the starboard side of
the hull through a debris strainer to a pressure
controlled 24 volt DC electric sea water pump.
• Services: The sea water system provides pressurised
water to the toilet and deck outlets located at the
anchor well and aft deck. The toilet feed is controlled
by a solenoid valve.
• Bilge Pumping: The vessel is supplied with a portable
electric bilge pump fitted with a 3 metre hose that is
deployable to any bilge area. Power for the pump is
provided by a DC outlet located at the aft deck. The
bilge pump is stowed in an aft deck locker.
• Toilet: A Tecma Silent Flush electric toilet takes water
from either the pressurised sea water system or from
the fresh water system for flushing. Waste is
macerated and pumped to a black water holding
tank. The toilet control panel is mounted on the sink
cabinet fascia.

Blackwater holding tank: An above water line 50 litre
holding tank with deck pump out gland is fitted. A
gravity discharge to a through hull fitting on the port
side of the hull is fitted. Discharge is controlled by a
manual valve. A holding tank breather is connected
to a skin fitting on the starboard side of the hull. The
tank is fitted with a NMEA-2000 level sensor.
• Grey Water Pump: A Jabsco grey water pump is
mounted on the aft head bulkhead. A pipe connects
to a well in the shower floor. Discharge is above
waterline on the port side of the starboard hull.
• Galley Fridge: A 65 litre (nominal capacity) single
drawer refrigerator is fitted under the counter top in
the aft area of the galley.
• Deck Freezer: A top load fridge/freezer box is fitted
under the counter top at the companion way
bulkhead on the port side of the aft deck.
• Deck Ice Box: A top load refrigerated ice box is fitted
in a cabinet starboard of the companionway.
• Condenser Sets: Three Frigoboat water cooled 12
volt DC condenser sets are mounted on the
companion way side of the port aft deck cabinet.
• Condenser cooling: An integral copper pipe heat
exchanger is fitted in the port aft hull to service the
water cooled refrigeration condensers. A pump
recirculates cooling water via a header tank.
• Control Panel: A control panel fitted with digital
temperature readouts is mounted in the galley.
• Engines: The vessel is fitted with port and starboard
Suzuki DF90 outboard engines, key starts and
stainless steel three blade propellers. The engine
NMEA2000 network is connected to the the vessel
• Engine Controls: Glendinning electronic engine speed
and gear shift controls are fitted. The actuators
mount on the aft deck beam under a central hatch.
• Steering: A hydraulic helm pump connects to
individual steering rams on each engine. A hydraulic
tie bar is fitted with balancing and service valves.
• Autopilot Pump: An autopilot hydraulic pump is
fitted at the aft beam.

The standard electrical system utilises a 24 volt house bank
and a 12 volt starter battery. The addition of an optional
portable generator is suggested as a backup for the standard
solar panel charging in case of very inclement weather.
Main Battery Bank: Fitted with two 255 amp hour
Lifeline AGM batteries mounted under the starboard
settee seat and vented outside through the bridge
deck floor.
Starting Battery: Fitted with a single 55 amp hour
Lifeline AGM starting battery mounted at the aft deck
DC Ground Return Board: All ground circuits return
to a centralised board located near the batteries.
DC Circuit Breaker Panel: A main DC circuit breaker
panel is fitted on the inside face of the head
longitudinal bulkhead. It accommodates the house
battery switch, a cross charge relay and circuit
breakers for primary DC circuits.
Solar Panels: Three 32 volt 170 watt solar panels are
fitted to the aft end of the sedan roof. A 60 amp
rated MPPT solar panel regulator controls charging.
An additional set of 3 panels for a total of 1,000
watts of solar charging is available as an option.
Shore Power Inlet: A 15 amp rated shore power inlet
with double pole breaker is fitted.
AC Distribution System: Includes an MEN system
with vessel ground plate, galvanic isolator, shore
power reverse polarity protection system and
3,000 Watt / 70 Amp Inverter Charger
Outback Power Systems VFX3024 high output sine
wave inverter and battery charger with remote
control panel.
Electrical Wiring: Properly sized marine grade tinned
copper cable is used throughout.
Distributed Wiring System: An Empirbus NXT
distributed wiring system is used for the supply and
control of vessel power to consuming devices.
• Dock Lines: Four 12 mm nylon dock lines for
attachment to bow, stern and spring mooring cleats.
• Fenders: Four fenders are provided.

prices include any applicable credit for original equipment
and/or structure, system installation, commissioning and
installation warranty.
