over wireless connection.
DUAL-BAND CONNECTION
Duo technology allows you to connect in either 2.4GHz
or 5GHz frequencies.
HIGHLY COMPATIBLE
Works with all major operating systems.
BENEFITS OF DAP-1522
The DAP-1522 high-definition wireless bridge is the latest addition to the Award-Winning Xtreme N product family. DAP-1522 works with next generation dual-band
(2.4GHz or 5GHz) 802.11a/g/n wireless devices and effectively doubles your available wireless bandwidth. It protects your data with 64/128- bit WEP WPA/WAP2
encryption and can be easily configured with the web-browser based configuration utility.
The versatile D-Link® DAP-1522 is designed for users looking to get a true wireless connection that can handle multiple High-Definition video streams throughout
the house.
HIGH-DEFINITION PERFORMANCE
The DAP-1522 allows you to easily upgrade any router to support streaming of High-Definition (HD) multimedia content over a wireless connection. Connect up to
four Ethernet-enabled devices of your entertainment center to the DAP-1522, such as game consoles, Digital Video Recorders (DVR), and Digital Media Adapters
(DMA) simultaneously. You can also upgrade your network to support dual-band wireless streaming by connecting a DAP-1522 to your router.
DUO TECHNOLOGY
Xtreme N Duo is the latest addition to the award-winning Xtreme N product family. The Duo technology in the DAP-1522 supports selectable dual band N (2.4GHz or
5GHz) wireless signals. This allows you to check e-mail and browse the internet using existing 802.11g and popular draft 802.11n products or stream high-definition
movies and other media on the 5GHz band. The 5GHz band helps avoid interference by providing a clearer wireless band for HD signals.

WHAT THIS PRODUCT DOES
The DAP-1522 allows you to easily upgrade any
router to support streaming of High-Definition
(HD) multimedia content in your home over a
wireless connection. This device will let you
‘bridge’ between two different physical media, for
example the wireless Ethernet connection from
the DVR and the wireless media of your wireless
network. It transforms your wired device into a
wireless one without any hassles of stringing
cable wires.

Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE Standard 802.11a, 802.11g, and draft 802.11n specifications. Actual data throughput will vary.
Network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and network overhead,
lower actual data throughput rate. Environmental factors will adversely affect wireless signal range.
