WARNINGS Do not leave children unattended. e Follow the manufacturers instructions. e Ensure your child is secured with a correctly adjusted safety harness. e Do not carry additional children or bags on the stroller * Do not allow children to stand on the seat. e Do not hang bags or goods from the handle as this could cause the stroller to tip over. e Do not place more than 4kg in the basket, or 1kg in the canopy pocket (if supplied). e The weight of the child using this product should not exceed 1 7kg. * Do not use accessories other than those supplied and approved by Britax. e When making adjustments to the stroller, ensure that you and your child's body are clear of any moving parts on the stroller. e Always apply all of the brakes when parking the stroller. e Check that all safety locks are engaged before placing a child in the stroller. e Remove the child from the stroller before going up or down stairs and escalators. e To prevent the risk of the stroller catching fire, do not park it near a radiator, an open fire or a barbecue. e Do not run while using this product. e Do not lift the stroller by the arm bar. It may disengage. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL USE RECOMMENDATION Some strollers have backrests adjustable between an upright and reclined position. The upright positions are not suitable for use with children less than six months old. As a guide, the lowest recline position should be used to transport babies, the backrest can be adjusted to a more upright position as the child grows older and is able to support its head without assistance. SAFETY WARNING The sun is very strong. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD EXPOSED TO THE SUN. The canopy or hood on this product will not give your child total protection from the harmful rays of the sun. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Regularly inspect and maintain your stroller to ensure the freedom of movement of the locking devices and security of components. To prolong the life of your nursery product keep it clean and do not leave it in the direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using warm water with a household soap or a mild detergent. Allow it to dry fully, preferably away from the direct sunlight. HELPFUL HINTS If the wheels squeak - use a silicon based spray or light oil ensuring it penetrates the wheel and axle assembly. When using your stroller at the beach - completely clean your stroller afterwards to remove the sand and salt from the mechanisms and wheel assemblies. If there are compression marks on the tyres - use a domestic hair dryer to gently warm the tyre and the compression marks should slowly disappear. (DO NOT OVERHEAT). DO NOT DRY CLEAN, OR USE BLEACH. Do not machine wash, tumble or spin dry, unless the care labelling on the product permits these methods. Non removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using a damp sponge with soap or mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely before folding or storing it away. In some climates the covers and trims may be affected by mould and mildew. To help prevent this occurring, do not fold or store the product if it is damp or wet. Always store the product in a well ventilated area. Always check parts regularly for tightness of screws, nuts and other fasteners - tighten if required. To maintain the safety of your nursery product, seek prompt repairs for bent, torn, worn or broken parts. Use only those parts and accessories approved by Britax. Place the bootcover over the leg support. Attach both the right hand and left hand bootcover side attachments to the sides of the frame. Zip the mesh cover to the front of the canopy. Place the mesh cover over the leg support, then place the sides of the mesh cover between the frame and stroller seat. Zip the rain cover to the front of the canopy. Place the rain cover over the leg support and attach the press studs. Fasten both buckles around the sides of the stroller handle. Attach hook and loop tabs around the top of the stroller handle. Remove slack from the buckle straps if required. NOTE: When the storage pouch is worn around the waist, attach hook and loop tabs around the short buckle straps and store the short buckle straps in the rear flap provided. Release the storage strap from the catch located on the underside of the stroller Adjust the handle to an upright position by simultaneously pressing the buttons on the outside of the handle. Grasp the handle and lift upwards allowing the chassis to extend and click into position. Check the stroller is ready for use by lifting the handle - the stroller should not collapse. NOTE: To assemble and install bassinette refer to section 12 & 13. Press the locking button across on the inside of the front wheel carrier. (B)(©) WARNING: Always use the seat insert fully (E) assembled/attached to the stroller frame. Press the locking button across on the outside of the front wheel carrier to secure the swivel wheel in the carrier. Check the wheels are correctly fitted by trying to pull them out. Repeat this process for both swivel wheels. NOTE: Solid (EVA) tyres do not require inflation. Pneumatic Front and Rear Tyres can be inflated with pump (where supplied) or a bicycle pump or at a garage air pump. For maximum inflation pressure refer to the tyre side wall. Release both buckles and the zip, then place the cosy footmuff into the stroller. NOTE: The swivel wheels can be removed for more compact storage. Do this by pushing the locking button . ; Pass the straps located at the across and pulling the swivel wheel out. top of the cosy footmuff through the holes in the top of the backrest and secure using the D-rings, ensure to adjust the height of the cosy footmuff so the harness slots align with harness straps. Pass the harness shoulder straps, waist straps and crotch straps through the slots in the cosy foot muff. Refer to section 9 to secure your child in the harness. When child is secured in the harness, apply the cosy footmuff zip and buckles. WARNING: The seat insert must be assembled as below to ensure correct operation of the stroller. Remove bassinette brackets (if fitted) as described in section 14. Attach the press stud (A) located on the strap at the top of the insert, to the top press stud on the outside of the frame, then attach buckle housing (B)to buckle prong( C). Attach the press SEAT INSERT FIXING POINTS stud to the middle press stud located on the outside of the frame. Attach the metal strap connector to the loop sewn into the strap ensuring the metal strap connector is passed through the upper slot of the lower leg cross frame before attaching to the loop. Attach the press stud (F) to the lower press stud located (7) (п) (9) ©) (=) (©; on the outside of © the frame NOTE: Repeat the above steps for both sides of the stroller. Pass the strap (G) behind and under the cross bar on the front end of the stroller frame and through the strap fastener ; Attach the press studs on strap(1)to the press studs located on the underside of the footrest frame. NOTE: Refer to page 13 for seat insert fitment check. Push the button on the outside of the wheel hub, then slide the rear wheel axle into the chassis until the wheel locks into position. Check the wheels are correctly fitted by trying to pull them out. NOTE: The rear wheels can be removed for more compact storage. Do this by pushing the locking buttons on the inside of the wheel carriers, then pull the wheel assembly out. To attach arm bar, remove the canopy (if fitted). Align the arm bar ends with the slots on the armrest area of the stroller frame, then slide both arm bar ends onto the frame. Check the arm bar is securely in place by pulling on it. Fit canopy to slots in the top of the arm bar If desired. To remove arm bar, remove the canopy (if fitted) then slide both arm bar ends out of the frame in the opposite direction of installation. Fit canopy to slots on the stroller frame if desired. CAUTION: Do not lift the stroller by the arm bar. It may disengage. NOTE: The arm bar must be removed to use the bassinette. NOTE: Swivel wheels can only be locked in the trailing position (wheels under frame). The wheels will automatically move into the trailing position when you move the stroller forward by approximately one metre. Lift the locking clip up to unlock the swivel wheels. Push locking clip down to lock the swivel wheels. NOTE: Always lock the swivel wheels when using the stroller on rough surfaces. Push down on the brake bar to lock the brakes. Lift the brake bar to release the brakes. ALWAYS APPLY THE BRAKES WHEN YOU PARK THE STROLLER. To fully recline the backrest squeeze the buttons on both sides of the adjusting buckle and pull the buckle down until it reaches the end of the strap. To raise the backrest to the fully upright position, raise the backrest with one hand, then use the other to gently pull the strap through the adjusting buckle until tight enough. DO NOT ADJUST THE BACKREST WHILE YOUR CHILD IS IN THE STROLLER. WARNING: Always remove your child from the bassinette prior to installation or removal. Adjust the stroller handle downwards to the compact position. Grasp the bassinette handles, press the release buttons and lift the bassinette off the stroller If installation of the seat insert Is required, bassinette brackets must be removed. To remove bassinette brackets release the lock button, then slide the bracket out of the stroller frame. Bassinette release buttons WARNING: Always remove your child from the bassinette prior to installation or removal. NOTE: When bassinette is in use, arm bar, stroller canopy and seat insert must be removed. Remove the arm bar (section 4) & stroller canopy (section 10). To remove the seat insert release all press studs, and hook and loop tabs from the stroller frame (refer to section 15 for exact locations), including the straps under the seat insert. Lift the seat insert out of the stroller. Align the bassinette brackets with the slots on the inside of stroller frame, then slide each bracket onto the frame until they lock into position. Check that both brackets are securely in place by pulling on them. Adjust the handle downwards to the compact position by simultaneously pressing the buttons on the outside of the handle. Place the bassinette onto the stroller frame by locating the two slots on the underside of the bassinette with the bassinette brackets, then gently push down. Check the bassinette is secure by lifting the bassinette handles - the bassinette should not disengage from the stroller Adjust the stroller handle to the user upright position. WARNING: Do not lift stroller by bassinette. Adjust the handle by simultaneously pressing both buttons located at the base of the handle, then rotate to the desired position. NOTE: The handle features five height positions, and then falls to final compact fold position. WARNING: Use this harness at all times. A five-point harness is provided to restrain your child. To secure the child in the harness, push buckle (A) and (B) into the buckle housing (C) until the buckle prongs snap into position. Carefully adjust the harness by pulling the slider (D) until the desired snug fit is achieved in the lap, shoulder and crotch straps. Always adjust the harness when changing the seating position of the child. To release the buckle, squeeze the top and bottom prongs. С straps Slider — Buckle |A prongs Slider = = B Buckle prongs WARNING: Do not use the stroller canopy when bassinette is in use. To fit canopy, align with slots in the armrest area of the frame and insert ends until locked in place. If arm bar is fitted, fit canopy to slots in the top of the arm bar. Attach strap around the stroller handle. Always check the canopy is secure by pulling on it. To open the canopy pull the front of the canopy forward, then push the canopy hinges down on both sides. To open the canopy window (where fitted) pull the flap away from the canopy and roll it up. Hold it in place by attaching the fastener To remove the canopy slide the ends off the slots in the frame, or off the slots in arm bar (if fitted). Remove the bootcover, mesh cover or rain cover (if fitted), close the canopy and raise backrest to the fully upright position. Stand behind the stroller and pull both locks, push the handle forward allowing the stroller to fold until the chassis moves into a fully folded position. Adjust the handle back into the compact fold position then attach the storage strap to the catch located on the side of the stroller Fit the inner liner, attach the hook and loop tabs around the inside edges of the bassinette, then place the mattress inside the bassinette. To fit the cover, place over the bassinette then attach the press studs found inside the bassinette, beneath the base of the canopy. To extend the canopy, pull the handle forward to the desired position. To recline the canopy, press both buttons located at the base of the canopy and rotate canopy handle backwards until fully reclined. NOTE: D-rings are installed in the base of the bassinette for optional baby harness installation. Baby harness is not supplied but can be purchased separately. Refer to instruction included with baby harness for correct fitting. NOTE: The stroller can not be folded while the bassinette is attached. Refer to section 14A to remove bassinette. ">
