24mm ultra wide-angle 30x optical zoom lens with optical Image Stabilizer (IS)

PowerShot SX510 HS offers high zoom power to capture both close-up and distant scenery effortlessly. Perfect for various travel shooting needs, its 24mm ultra wide-angle lens can allow easy capturing of wide open landscapes and group photos within a limited space, while its 30x optical zoom power can capture far away subjects in brilliant details.

PowerShot SX510 HS is integrated with a lens-shift type optical Image Stabilizer (IS) with gyroscopic sensor to detect camera shake and compensate the shake by corrective lens movement. This can effectively reduce blur caused by camera shake especially during telephoto shooting to ensure sharp images. A 0cm Super Macro mode is also supported for shooting tiny objects and close-up shots with incredible details.

It is dedicated to facilitate framing subjects in extreme telephoto shoot. Simply by pressing the “Seek” button located near the lens, the camera will quickly zoom out to help relocate the subject. With the new Face Lock function, once the face of the target subject is positioned in the focus frame, press “Seek” button and the camera will zoom automatically to keep the subject size unchanged within the composition, thus enhancing the success rate of shooting moving subjects.

PowerShot SX510 HS features an Enhanced Wi-Fi Wireless Transfer function 1 for easy and instant sharing, uploading, printing and backup of high quality images and movies captured.

After simple social networking site linkage setup for the camera directly from smart devices, images and movies captured by the camera can be uploaded directly to Flickr, Facebook or

YouTube over a Wi-Fi wireless network for instant sharing of every joyful moment. They can also be sent wirelessly to smart phones and tablets

With the installed CameraWindow application turned on, accurate GPS data will be recorded by smart device. Simply connect PowerShot SX510 HS to the smart device after shooting,

GPS data will be transferred and combined with the images, allowing easy image review, organizing and searching in future. After uploading the images tagged with GPS data to social networking sites, the locations of the images will be tracked and shown directly on a map for easy sharing of your photo journey with friends. This function allows faster reception of GPS data signal with accurate performance both indoor and outdoor, and can reduce the camera’s power consumption.

Aperture priority (Av), Shutter priority (Tv) and full manual (M) exposure shooting modes are available. Users can adjust aperture, shutter speed, white balance and ISO speed freely upon on their preferences and needs to further expand shooting creativity.
