ESTABLISHING THE BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Step 1: Turn the keyboard on by pressing on/off switch. The Bluetooth LED flashes for a second. If that is not the case, please charge the keyboard.
Step 2: Press the connect button. The Bluetooth control LED shows by flashing that connection is possible.
Step 3: Turn on and unlock iOS device. Tap on the device's settings icon.
Step 4: In the settings menu, select item [general] to access [Bluetooth] settings. Tap on [Bluetooth] to turn on the connection. The iOS device will automatically search for a
Bluetooth-enabled device.
Step 5: Wireless keyboard is found. Tap on the device to connect.
Choose "Bluetooth keyboard"
Step 6: Your device will now display a code. Enter the password code via the
Bluetooth keyboard as displayed on screen and tap on the Return key.
Enter the password code via the wireless keyboard.
Step 7: The keyboard is now successfully connected and will be shown in the list of the recognized devices. The Bluetooth LED stops flashing.
Note: The keyboard can be used with all iOS devices which support iOS 4.0 or higher.
For other Bluetooth-enabled devices, please verify the Bluetooth standard & compatibility before attempting to connect to the keyboard.
Once successfully connected, the keyboard saves all connection data until connected to another device.
CHARGING THE INTEGRATED BATTERY
When the battery power is low, the [power] indicator light will start blinking. It is time to recharge the keyboard.
Step 1: Connect USB-B of the native USB power cable to the keyboard charging interface.
Step 2: Connect USB-A to a power adapter or computer's USB interface.
Step 3: The [charge] indicator light will stay on when the keyboard is charging.
ENERGY SAVING SLEEP MODE
The keyboard will change into sleep mode when it is inactive for 15 minutes and the keyboard [power] indicator light will go off. To activate from sleep mode, just press any key and wait 3seconds. The keyboard will come back on.
SAFETY NOTES
Please avoid the following:

Keep away from sharp objects, oil, chemicals or any other organic liquids.
•
Do not place heavy objects on top of the keyboard.
•
Avoid contact to fire, heat or direct sunlight.
•
Do not microwave.
SPECIAL KEYS
The layout of the keyboard has been developed very carefully to allow a comfortable typing experience even with the reduced dimensions of the case. Special characters such as "Ä" or "Ö" can be found in combination with the function key FN. To write an "ä", for example, the key combination "FN"+"O" has to be used. The special key assignments are shown in blue, the same applies to the multimedia features.
iOS also provides a number of special characters. These are accessible in combination with the "Alt / Option" button.
CLEANING
Clean the keyboard with a moist cloth and water, alcohol or alcohol based disinfectant.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Please check the connection carefully before turning on the device.

Possible Cause/Possible Solution
1. Make sure the keyboard is switched on and charged.
2. Make sure the keyboard is within the operating distance.
3. Make sure iPad Bluetooth setting is on.
4. Make sure wireless keyboard has been paired with the iPad.
Make sure the language settings are correct. The settings of the keyboard's language can be found under
"Settings/General/Keyboard/Keyboards". Different layouts maybe supported in a single country profile. The correct layout can be found in "Hardware - keyboard settings".
1. Make sure the USB power cable is connected properly to the keyboard and the power source.
2. Make sure the wall charger is plug into the power outlet.
3. Make sure, you have the right output voltage.
