Cleaning the Heater

OPERATION
NOTE:
It is normal when the
heater is turned on for the first
time or when turned on after
having not been used for a long
period of time it may emit some
odour.
This will disappear when the
heater has been on for a short
while.
1. Choose a suitable location for
the heater, taking into account
the safety instructions.
2. Insert the plug of the heater
into a suitable mains socket.
3. Turn the Thermostat Knob
fully in a clockwise direction to
the maximum setting.
See fig. 6.
4. Turn On the heating elements
by means of the rocker
switches on the side panel.
When the heating elements
are On the switches will
illuminate.
See fig. 6.
For your safety, the heater has a
safety tilt switch in the base,
which switches the heater off it is
knocked over. For this to work,
the heater must be standing on a
firm and level surface.

Fitting the Feet
NOTE:
Before using the heater, the
feet must be fitted to the unit, unless
the unit is to be wall mounted.
1. Carefully turn the unit upside down.
Use the [email protected] to fix the Feet B
onto the Heater (A). Take care to
ensure that they are located
correctly in the bottom ends of the
Heater side moldings.

IMPORTANT:
When drilling into walls always
check that there are no hidden wires or
pipes etc. Make sure that the screws
and wall plugs supplied are suitable for
supporting the unit. Consult a qualified
person if you are not sure.
WARNING:
Position the Heater carefully. It
must not be in front of or below a power
socket. It must not be below a shelf,
curtains or any other obstruction. The
heater has to be installed at least 0.1m
above the floor.
WARNING:
The case of heater gets warm
during normal operation therefore for
wall mounting please ensure that the
wall surface is suitable. Some wall
coverings may be affected by the high
temperature.
