Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses hochwertige Aktiv-Lautsprecherpaar eignet
sich für HiFi-Anwendungen, als Monitorsystem im
Homerecording-Studio, für AV-Präsentationen, als
High-End-PC-Lautsprecher und für alle anderen
Anwendungen in kleineren Räumen, bei denen es auf
eine hervorragende, detailreiche Klangwiedergabe
ankommt.
Jede Lautsprecherbox verfügt über einen 20-cmTiefmitteltonlautsprecher mit Glasfasermembran und
einen 2,54-cm-Kalottenhochtöner, jeweils durch separate Verstärkerendstufen gesteuert. Die Lautsprecher
sind magnetisch abgeschirmt. Der Hochtonanteil lässt
sich über einen Drehschalter z. B. an die Raumakustik
anpassen.
Die Verstärker sind mit Schutzschaltungen gegen
Kurzschluss, Überhitzung und Gleichspannung an den
Ausgängen ausgestattet.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich und
schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
G
Die im Gerät entstehende Wärme muss durch Luftzirkulation abgegeben werden. Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnung (Bassreflexöffnung) nicht ab.

Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb oder ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder am Netzkabel vorhanden sind,
2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in
eine Fachwerkstatt.

Aufstellen und Anschließen
Die Lautsprecher auf einen ebenen Untergrund stellen
und auf die Ohren des Hörers ausrichten. Die Hochtöner sollten sich möglichst auf Ohrhöhe befinden.
Stellen Sie die Lautsprecher nicht zu dicht an
Wände oder in Ecken, da dies den Frequenzgang verfälscht und die Wärmeabfuhr des eingebauten Verstärkers behindert.
4.1 Signalquelle anschließen
Für den Anschluss einer Signalquelle mit Line-Pegel
(z. B. CD-Spieler, Mischpultausgang, Line-Ausgang
eines Computers) stehen drei Eingangsbuchsen zur
Auswahl.
1) Für symmetrische Signale eignet sich die XLRBuchse (3) und die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse (2)
[Belegung der Kontakte
Kapitel 6].
2) Für asymmetrische Signale eignet sich die CinchBuchse (1) oder die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse (2),
wenn 2-polige Klinkenstecker verwendet werden.

VORSICHT Stellen Sie die Lautstärke der Audioanlage nie sehr hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken können auf Dauer das Gehör
schädigen! Das Ohr gewöhnt sich an
sie und empfindet sie nach einiger Zeit
als nicht mehr so hoch. Darum eine
hohe Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung
nicht weiter erhöhen.
Hinweis: Um Schaltgeräusche zu vermeiden, die
Lautsprecher immer nach den angeschlossenen Geräten einschalten und nach dem
Gebrauch zuerst ausschalten.
1) Den Regler GAIN (4) zunächst auf -30 dB (Linksanschlag) stellen und die Lautsprecherbox mit dem
Schalter POWER (6) einschalten. Die LED auf der
Vorderseite leuchtet.
2) Mit dem Regler GAIN die Eingangsverstärkung auf
die Signalquelle abstimmen. Den Regler nur so weit
aufdrehen, dass der Ton nicht verzerrt wiedergegeben wird.
3) Wenn gewünscht, den Hochtonanteil mit dem
Schalter HF ADJUST (5) im Bereich von -2 dB bis
+1 dB anpassen.
4) Nach dem Gebrauch die Lautsprecherbox mit dem
Schalter POWER wieder ausschalten.

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g. drinking glasses, on the unit.

The heat being generated in the unit must be carried
off by air circulation. Therefore, the air vent (bass
reflex opening) must not be covered.

Applications
This high-quality pair of active speakers is suitable for
HiFi applications, as a monitor system in the home
recording studio, for AV presentations, as High End PC
speakers, and for all other applications in smaller
rooms requiring an excellent sound reproduction
which is rich in detail.
Each speaker system has a 20 cm bass-midrange
speaker with glass fibre cone and a 2.54 cm dome
tweeter, controlled in each case by a separate power
amplifier. The speakers are provided with magnetic
shielding. The high range can be adapted e. g. to the
acoustics of the room via a rotary switch.
The amplifiers are equipped with protective circuits
against short circuit, overheating, and DC voltage content at the outputs.

Setting-up and Connecting
Place the speakers on an even surface and align them
to the ears of the listener. The tweeters should be at
earʼs height, if possible.
Do not place the speakers too close to walls or in
corners as this will falsify the frequency response and
impair the heat dissipation of the installed amplifier.
4.1 Connecting the signal source
For the connection of a signal source with line level
(e. g. CD player, mixer output, line output of a computer) three input jacks are available.
1) For balanced signals the XLR jack (3) and the
6.3 mm jack (2) are suitable [configuration of the
contacts
chapter 6].
2) For unbalanced signals the phono jack (1) or the
6.3 mm jack (2) is suitable if 2-pole plugs are used.
When several jacks are used at the same time, the
input signals are mixed.

Operation
CAUTION Never adjust the audio system to a very
high volume. Permanent high volumes
may damage your hearing! The human
ear will get accustomed to high volumes
which do not seem to be that high any
more after some time. Therefore, do not
further increase a high volume after getting used to it.
Note: To prevent switching noise, always switch on the
speakers after the units connected and switch
them off first after use.
1) Set the control GAIN (4) to -30 dB (left stop) first
and switch on the speaker system with the POWER
switch (6). The LED on the front side lights up.

Respectez scrupuleusement les points suivants :

Lʼappareil nʼest conçu que pour une utilisation en
intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de projections
dʼeau, des éclaboussures, dʼune humidité élevée de
lʼair et de la chaleur (plage de température de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).

En aucun cas, vous ne devez poser dʼobjet contenant du liquide ou un verre sur lʼappareil.

La chaleur dégagée par lʼappareil doit être évacuée

Possibilités dʼutilisation
Cette paire dʼenceintes actives de grande qualité est
adaptée pour des applications Hi-Fi, comme système
moniteur en studio dʼenregistrement personnel, pour
des présentations AV, comme haut-parleur dʼordinateur PC HIGH-END et pour tout autre type dʼapplications dans des pièces plus petites où une restitution
sonore précise et riche en détails est nécessaire.
Chaque enceinte dispose dʼun haut-parleur de
grave-médium 20 cm avec membrane en fibres de
verre et dʼun haut-parleur dʼaigu à dôme 2,54 cm,
gérée respectivement par des étages amplificateurs
distincts. Les haut-parleurs sont dotés dʼun blindage
magnétique; la part dʼaigu peut être adaptée à lʼacoustique de la pièce par exemple via un potentiomètre
rotatif.
Les amplificateurs sont protégés contre les courtcircuit, surchauffe et présence de tension continue en
sortie par des circuits de protection.

Positionnement et branchements
Positionnez les enceintes sur un support plat, orientezles vers les oreilles de lʼauditeur. Les haut-parleurs
dʼaigu devraient être à hauteur dʼoreille, si possible.
Ne placez pas les enceintes trop près des murs ou
dans les coins car cela fausse la réponse en fréquence
et empêche toute évacuation de la chaleur dégagée
par lʼamplificateur intégré.
4.1 Branchement de la source de signal
Trois prises dʼentrée sont disponibles pour brancher la
source de signal avec niveau ligne (par exemple lecteur CD, sortie de table de mixage, sortie Ligne dʼun
ordinateur).
1) Pour des signaux symétriques, la fiche XLR femelle
(3) et la fiche jack 6,35 femelle (2) sont adaptées
(configuration des contacts,
chapitre 6).
2) Pour des signaux asymétriques, la prise RCA (1) ou
la prise jack 6,35 (2) est adaptée lorsque des fiches
jack 2 pôles sont utilisées.
Si vous utilisez simultanément plusieurs fiches, les
signaux dʼentrée sont mixés.
4.2 Alimentation
Reliez la fiche du cordon secteur (8) à une prise
secteur (230 V~/50 Hz).

PRECAUTION Ne réglez jamais le volume du système audio trop fort. Un volume trop
élevé peut, à long terme, générer
des troubles de lʼaudition ! Lʼoreille
humaine sʼhabitue à des volumes
élevés et ne les perçoit plus comme
tels au bout dʼun certain temps. Nous
vous conseillons donc de régler le
volume et de ne plus le modifier.
Conseil : Pour éviter tout bruit fort de commutation,
allumez toujours les enceintes après les
appareils reliés et après utilisation, éteignez
les enceintes avant les appareils.
1) Mettez le potentiomètre GAIN (4) tout dʼabord sur
-30 dB (butée de gauche) et allumez lʼenceinte
avec lʼinterrupteur POWER (6). La LED sur la face
avant brille.
2) Avec le réglage GAIN, adaptez lʼamplification dʼentrée par rapport à la source de signal. Tournez le
réglage de telle sorte que le son ne soit pas distordu.

Possibilità dʼimpiego
Questa coppia di altoparlanti attivi di alta qualità à
adatta per applicazioni hifi, come sistema di monitoraggio nel home-recording, per presentazioni AV,
come altoparlanti high-end per PC e per tutte le altre
applicazioni in ambienti minori dove è richiesta una
riproduzione del suono eccellente e particolareggiata.
Ogni cassa dispone di un altoparlante woofer/
midrange di 20 cm con membrana in fibra di vetro e di
un tweeter a cupola di 2,54 cm, ognuno comandato da
amplificatori finali separati. Gli altoparlanti sono a
schermatura magnetica. La parte degli acuti può
essere adattata, p. es. allʼacustica dellʼambiente, per
mezzo di una manopola.
Gli amplificatori sono equipaggiati con circuiti di
protezione contro cortocircuiti, surriscaldamento e tensione continua alle uscite.
Si devono osservare assolutamente anche i seguenti
punti:

Collocamento e collegamento
Sistemare le casse su una base piana e orientarli in
direzione alle orecchie degli uditori. I tweeter dovrebbero trovarsi, se possibile, allʼaltezza dellʼorecchio.
Non posizionare le casse troppo vicine a pareti o
negli angoli per non falsificare la risposta in frequenza
e per non impedire la dissipazione di calore dellʼamplificatore integrato.

Non depositare sullʼapparecchio dei contenitori
riempiti di liquidi, p. es. bicchieri.

Devʼessere garantita la libera circolazione dellʼaria
per dissipare il calore che viene prodotto allʼinterno
dellʼapparecchio. Non coprire in nessun modo le fessure dʼaerazione (apertura bassreflex).

Non mettere in funzione lʼapparecchio e staccare
subito la spina rete se:

Aplicaciones
Esta pareja de altavoces activos de alta calidad está
adecuada para aplicaciones HiFi, como sistema monitor en el estudio de grabación de casa, para presentaciones AV, como altavoces de PC de gran nivel, y para
todas las demás aplicaciones en salas pequeñas que
requieran una excelente reproducción del sonido rica
en detalles.
Cada recinto tiene un altavoz de graves-medios de
20 cm con una membrana de fibra de cristal y un tweeter de cúpula de 2,54 cm, controlados siempre por un
amplificador separado. Los altavoces están provistos
con blindaje magnético. El rango de agudos se puede
adaptar p. ej. a la acústica de la sala mediante un interruptor rotatorio.
Los amplificadores están equipados con circuitos
de protección contra cortocircuitos, sobrecalentamientos y voltaje DC en las salidas.

Colocación y Conexión
Coloque los altavoces en una superficie plana y diríjalos a los oídos de la audiencia. Los tweeters deberían
estar a la altura de los oídos, si es posible.
No coloque los altavoces demasiado cerca de las
paredes o en las esquinas ya que esto falsearía la respuesta de frecuencia y también impediría la disipación
del calor del amplificador instalado.
4.1 Conexión de la fuente de señal
Para la conexión de una fuente de señal con nivel de
línea (p. ej. lector CD, salida de mezclador, salida de
línea para un ordenador) hay tres tomas de entrada
disponibles.
1) Para señales simétricas, las tomas adecuadas son
XLR (3) y jack 6,3 mm (2) [configuración de los contactos
apartado 6].
2) Para señales asimétricas tiene la toma RCA (1) o el
jack 6,3 mm (2) si se utilizan conectores de 2 polos.

Cuando se utilizan varias tomas al mismo tiempo, se
mezclan las señales de entrada.

Funcionamiento
PRECAUCIÓN No ajuste nunca el sistema de audio en
un volumen muy elevado. Los volúmenes altos permanentes pueden dañar
su oído. El oído humano se acostumbra a los volúmenes altos que no lo
parecen tanto después de un rato. Por
lo tanto, no aumente un volumen alto
después de acostumbrarse a él.
Nota: Para prevenir el ruido de conexión, conecte
siempre los altavoces después de conectar los
aparatos y desconéctelos en primer lugar
cuando acabe.
1) Ponga el control GAIN (4) en -30 dB (tope izquierdo) primero y conecte el recinto con el interruptor POWER (6). Se ilumina el LED en la parte
frontal.
2) Ajuste la amplificación de entrada a la fuente de
señal con el control GAIN. Aumente el control sólo
hasta que el sonido no se distorsione

Zastosowanie
Ta wysokiej jakości para zestawów głośnikowych
przeznaczona jest do zastosowań w aplikacjach HiFi,
jako studyjne monitory odsłuchowe, w systemach AV
z komputerem, TV lub projektorem oraz w innych systemach, wymagających dokładnego odtwarzania
dźwięku, ze wszystkimi detalami.
Każdy z zestawów wyposażony jest w 20 cm głośnik średnio-niskotonowy z membraną z włókna szklanego, oraz 2,54 cm wysokotonową kopułkę. Głośniki
posiadają osłonę magnetyczną. Możliwa jest ponadto
korekcja górnego pasma, za pomocą przełącznika.
Wzmacniacz posiada obwody zabezpieczające
przed przegrzaniem, zwarciem oraz napięciem stałym
DC na wyjściu.

Przygotowanie do pracy i podłączanie
Ustawić głośniki na płaskiej powierzchni i skierować je
w stronę słuchaczy. Zaleca się, aby głośnik wysokotonowy znajdował się na wysokości uszu.
Nie należy ustawiać głośników zbyt blisko ścian lub
narożników, gdyż powoduje to zakłócenie w odbiorze
dźwięku, a ponadto ogranicza wentylację wzmacniacza.
4.1 Podłączanie źródeł dźwięku
Połączyć wyjście liniowe źródła sygnału (np. odtwarzacza CD, miksera, komputera) do jednego z trzech
typów gniazd.
1) Dla sygnałów symetrycznych odpowiednie są
gniazda XLR (3) oraz 6,3 mm (2) [konfiguracja styków
rozdz. 6].
2) Dla sygnałów niesymetrycznych odpowiednie jest
gniazdo phono (1) lub 6,3 mm (2), jeżeli użyje się
2-polowego wtyku.
Równoczesne wykorzystanie kilku gniazd, spowoduje
zmiksowanie sygnałów.

UWAGA
Nie należy ustawiać zbyt wysokiej głośności. Długotrwałe działanie dużej głośności może uszkodzić słuch! Ucho ludzkie przyzwyczaja się do poziomu
dźwięku i po pewnym czasie nie

więc zwiększać ustawionego poziomu
po przyzwyczajeniu się do niego.
Uwaga: Aby zapobiec trzaskowi podczas włączania,
zestawy głośnikowe należy włączać na
końcu, po włączeniu pozostałych urządzeń,
oraz wyłączać je jako pierwsze.

Het apparaat is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis. Vermijd druip- en spatwater, uitzonderlijk
