DESCRIPTION

Description:

BOUTON START/STOP

Ce bouton permet de démarrer ou de mettre en pause la lecture du disque.

PLATEAU

Le plateau est l’endroit où vous allez placer votre disque vinyle

BOUTON MOTOR OFF ( BRAKE )

Lorsque vous appuyez sur ce bouton, vous bloquez la rotation du moteur ( le bouton clignote quand la fonction motor off est validée ). Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur ce bouton pour relancer la rotation du plateau

LAMPE

Cette petite lampe va vous permettre de voir votre cellule dans le noir

SELECTEURS VITESSE ROTATION PLATEAU

Vous avez le choix entre 33, 45 et 78 tours.

Appuyez sur le bouton 33 pour choisir 33 tours.

Appuyez sur le bouton 45 pour choisir 45 tours

Appuyez sur les deux boutons ( 33 et 45 )en même temps pour choisir 78 tours.

Pour retourner à 33 ou 45 tours, appuyez sur la touche correspondante.

BOUTON REVERSE

Lorsque vous appuyez sur ce bouton, la disque se met à tourner dans le sens contraire et donc la lecture se fera en arrière

SELECTION GAMME PITCH

Appuyez une fois pour sélectionner la gamme +/-8%.

Appuyez une nouvelle fois pour sélectionner +/-12%. Appuyez une dernière fois pour sélectionner +/-20%

QUARTZ

Ce switch permet de bloquer la vitesse de rotation du plateau sur une fréquence fixe ( celle du quartz ). Dans ce mode, le pitch n’agit pas.

9.

PORTE CELLULE

Cet ensemble est composé de :

un porte cellule une cellule

un diamant

Enfichez le porte cellule à l’extrémité du bras et vissez la bague afin de bloquer le porte cellule.

10. POTENTIOMETRE PITCH

Ce potentiomètre va vous permettre de modifier légèrement la musique afin d’accélérer ou diminuer la vitesse de la musique. La gamme d’ajustement est +/-8%, +/-12% ou +/-

20%

11. BRAS ACOUSTIQUE

Le bras est une partie importante de la platine vinyle. Il supporte le porte cellule et un contrepoids. Il faut positionner le bras au dessus du disque et l’abaisser afin que le diamant touche le disque et donc que la lecture commence ( si le disque tourne ).

12. EMPLACEMENT ADAPTATEUR 45 TOURS

Dans cet emplacement, vous devez ranger l’adaptateur permettant de positionner et de lire les disques 45 tours.

13. REGLAGE ANTI PATINAGE ( ANTI-SKATING )

Cette molette permet de régler l’anti-skating ( anti-patinage ).

Ce réglage ne peut se faire qu’en accord avec le réglage du contrepoids.

14. CONTRE-POIDS

Ce poids permet d’équilibrer le bras. ( Le réglage du contrepoids plus bas dans le mode d’emploi ).

15. BOUTON POWER

Ce bouton rotatif permet de mettre en marche la platine vinyle.

ATTENTION : Vérifiez la tension d’alimentation avant de mettre en marche la platine disque.

16. CONNECTEUR D’ALIMENTATION

Branchez sur cette prise le d’alimentation

Attention : tensions = 220V ( France )

17. CONNECTEUR MASSE

Branchez ce câble au connecteur masse de votre table de mixage.

PS : n’oubliez pas de le brancher sinon vous entendrez un gros ronflement.

18. CONNECTEUR DE SORTIE

Branchez ces câbles RCA à votre table de mixage sur une entrée de niveau PHONO.

DESCRIPTION BRAS ACOUSTIQUE

19. CELLULE + PORTE CELULE

Avant d’installer la cellule, bien lire le mode d’emploi de cette dernière.

Pour installer une cellule, vous devez vous référer au mode d’emploi de celle-ci. Généralement, les fils de la cellule sont codifiés.

Blanc (L+) : Canal gauche +

Bleu (L-) : Canal gauche –

Rouge (R+) : Canal droit +

Vert (R-) : Canal droit –

Respectez bien les couleurs et pendant l’installation, veuillez laisser le capuchon sur le diamant afin de le protéger de tout dommage.

20. BRAS ACOUSTIQUE

21. COMMANDE DU LÈVE-BRAS

Ce système permet de monter ou descendre le bras en douceur.

Ce réglage ne peut se faire qu’en accord avec le réglage du contrepoids.

23. CONTRE-POIDS

Ce poids permet d’équilibrer le bras. Placez le contre-poids à l’autre extrémité du bras et vissez le dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.

24. SUPPORT BRAS

Ce petit support est utilisé comme « repose bras » lorsque l’on ne l’utilise pas. Ce support possède un crochet permettant au bras de ne pas bouger lors d’un transport.

Bien lire le mode d’emploi avant toute utilisation

Ne pas ouvrir l’appareil pour éviter les chocs

électriques.

L’appareil ne doit pas être placé près d’objets remplis d’eau tels que des vases et ne doit pas être

éclaboussé.

Utilisez la platine sur une surface plate

Vérifiez que la platine est complètement déconnectée.

Ne pas utiliser de solvants chimiques sur cette table.

Placez la platine aussi loin possible des enceintes.

Une radio placée à proximité de la platine peut provoquer des interférences

Les potentiomètres ont une durée de vie limitée et ne sont pas garantis par le fabricant en cas d’utilisation très intensive.

ASSEMBLAGE ET REGLAGE :

Installation du plateau :

Placer le plateau sur l’axe.

Placez la feutrine sur le plateau

Installation du porte cellule :

Insérez le porte cellule dans le bras acoustique.

Tournez le loquet dans le sens anti-horaire en maintenant le porte cellule bien horizontal.

Installation du contre-poids :

Placez le contre-poids à l’autre extrémité du bras et vissez le dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.

Réglage de l’équilibre du bras et de la pression du diamant :

Si votre cellule est équipée d’une protection diamant, enlevez la sans toucher la pointe du

diamant.

décrochez le bras et faites le descendre doucement

Tournez le contre-poids dans le sens horaire ou anti-horaire jusqu’à que le bras soit bien équilibré horizontalement.

Lorsque le bras est bien équilibré, replacez le sur

-

son support et bloquez le avec le crochet.

Sur le contre-poids se trouve une bague graduée. maintenez le contre-poids avec une main et tournez cette bague jusqu'à ce que le « 0 » soit aligné ave le trait situé sur le bras. A présent le réglage de l’équilibre est effectué.

Après le réglage de l’équilibre, il faut régler la pression du diamant. Tournez le contre-poids dans le sens anti-horaire jusqu’à ce qu’il rencontre la ligne sur le bras.

Réglage anti-patinage (anti-skating):

Mettre la molette anti-skating ( anti-patinage ) à la position qui correspond au réglage optimal de pression. Si la pression sur la tête est de 4 grammes, il faut positionner la molette sur 4.

CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE :

Les équipements BST sont couverts par une garantie d’1 an pièces et main d’œuvre sauf pour les crossfaders (90 jours).

Les principes suivants s’appliquent à partir du moment où l’appareil quitte nos usines.

La facture de mise à la consommation fera foi de date de départ de la garantie, dans la mesure ou celle-ci n’excède pas 12 mois par rapport à la date de fabrication.

Seules les compagnies agréées par BST sont autorisées à opérer sur ces équipements.

La garantie devient nulle si l’intervenant appartient à un autre groupe.

Durant la période sous garantie, tout matériel défectueux doit nous être retourné dans son emballage d’origine sous colis prépayé.

DESCRIPTION

Belt drive professional turntable

Description:

1.

START / PAUSE BUTTON

Each time you press the PLAY/PAUSE button, the operation changes from play to pause or from pause to play.

2.

PLATTER

Put the record on the platter.

3.

MOTOR OFF BUTTON ( BRAKE )

Press the button to enable motor off, and the led will be flash .

Press the button again to disable function

4.

TARGET LIGHT

This small lamp is used to see the cartridge in the dark.

5.

SPEED SELECT.

You can choose between two speeds : 33 , 45 or 78 RPM

To select 78 RPM, please push the two knobs in the same time.

6.

REVERSE BUTTON

W hen you push this button, the platter turns in the opposite direction. So you hear the reverse sound.

7.

PITCH RANGE SELECTION

Press the button to switch to 8%, press again to switch to

12% and again to 20%.

QUARTZ

This switch is used to keep the speed of the platter constant .

In this mode, the pitch is disable.

9.

HEADSHELL

This part is composed of :

A headshell

A cartridge

- A stylus

Attach the headshell by inserting into he front end of the tone arm then turn the locking nut clockwise with the head shell firmly held horizontally.

10. PITCH ADJUSTEMENT

Moving the fader will change the play speed up to +/8, 12 or

20%

11. TONE ARM

The arm is an important part of the turntable. it supports the headshell and the counterweight. It’s necessary to position it over the record and to lift it down and make the stylus touch the record and so the playing starts.

12. 45 RPM ADAPTER

In this place, you can put the 45 rpm adapter.

13. ANTI-SKATING ADJUSTEMENT

This wheel is used to adjust the anti-skating.

This adjustement can only work with the counter weight adjsustement.

14. COUNTER WEGIHT

This weight is used to equilibrate the arm.

15. POWER SWITCH ( ON / OFF )

Rotate the power switch to turn the unit on. To switch the

POWER off press the POWER switch again.

Note : verify the ac power before switching the turntable on.

16. AC SOCKET

Plug the AC cord in this plug.

17. GROUND CONNECTOR

Connect the black ground lead to the ground terminal on the amplifier or mixer

PS : don’t forget to plug it or so you will hear big hum.

18. OUTPUT CONNECTOR

Connect these sockets to an input of your mixer ( PHONO

TONE ARM DESCRIPTION

19. HEADSHELL + CARTRIDGE

This part is composed of :

A headshell

A cartridge

A stylus

To install the cartridge, you can read the cartridge’s owner manual. Connect the lead wire to the cartridge terminals.

The terminals of most cartridges are color-coded.

Connect each lead wire to the terminal of the same color.

White (L+) : left channel +

Blue (L-) : left channel -

Red (R+) : right channel +

Green (R-) : right channel -

20. TONE ARM

The arm is an important part of the turntable. it supports the headshell and the counterweight. It’s necessary to position it over the record and to lift it down and make the stylus touch the record and so the playing starts.

21. CUEING LEVER

This system enables you to lift the arm up or down smoothly.

22. ANTI-SKATING ADJUSTEMENT

This wheel is used to adjust the anti-skating.

This adjustment can only work with the counter weight adjustment.

23. COUNTER-WEIGHT

Slide counter weight onto the rear of the tone arm

Twist the counter weight counter-clockwise and it will screw onto the rear of the tone arm.

24. ARM REST

Put the arm on this rest when you don’t use it. Lock the arm before moving the turntable.

Read the manual carefully before operation

Do not remove cover or back to prevent electrical shock. NO USER REPLACEABLE PARTS INSIDE.

The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases shall be placed on the apparatus.

Use the unit on a flat surface

Be sure not to connect the power or cables before moving the unit.

Do not use chemicals solvents on the unit.

Locate the turntable as far away from the speaker as possible and isolate the unit from sound radiation.

The interference may happen when a radio is placed too close to the turntable an both radio and turntable are playing.

ASSEMBLY AND SET-UP :

Installation of the platter :

Place the belt on the platter

Place the slipmat

Installation of headshell :

Insert the headshell into the front end of the tubular tone arm.

Turn the locking nut counter-clockwise while the headshell is firmly held horizontally.

Installation of counter weight :

Slide counter weight onto the rear of the tone arm

Twist the counter weight counter-clockwise and it will screw onto the rear of the tone arm.

Adjustment of horizontal zero (0) balance and stylus pressure :

If your cartridge has a detachable stylus protection, remove it and be careful not to touch

-

the stylus tip.

Release the arm clamp and lift the tone arm from the arm rest.

Turn counterweight clockwise or counterclockwise until the tone arm is balanced horizontally as floating freely. During adjusting the horizontal zero (0) balance, be careful that the stylus tip does not contact the turntable mat or

-

-

turntable base.

After the tone arm is horizontally zero (0) balanced temporaly, place the tone arm on the arm rest and lock it with the arm clamp.

W hile rotating the stylus-pressure ring, hold the counterweight steady with one hand until “0” on the ring aligns with center line on the tone arm rear shaft. Now the adjustment of the horizontal zero (0) balance should be completed.

After adjusting the horizontal zero (0), turn the balanced counterweight counter-clockwise to get the proper stylus pressure as the cartridge manufacturer’s recommendation when it meets center line on the tone arm rear shaft.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

BST equipment is covered by a 1-year warranty on parts and labour except for Crossfaders (90 days).

The following rules apply from the day the equipment leaves the factory:

The date on the invoice is considered to be the date the warranty begins.

Only companies approved by BST are allowed to work on the equipment. Warranty becomes void when other service technicians open the equipment.

During warranty period, defective equipment must be sent by prepaid mail in the original box.

BST will return the goods by pre-paid mail during the first year of warranty; thereafter the mailing cost is to be paid by the recipient

Potentiometers have a limited lifetime and are not covered by the manufacturer for more than normal use.
