2. INSTALACIONES

› El indicador de peso debe ser situado en un sitio que no altere ni degrade su precisión.

› Evitar temperaturas extremas. No situarlo en luz directa de sol o cerca de corrientes de aire condicionado.

› Evitar mesas inapropiadas. Las mesas o suelos deben ser rígidos y no vibrar. No debe situarse cerca de maquinaria vibrante.

› Evitar fuentes de potencia inestables. No utilizarlo cerca de grandes usos de electricidad tales como equipos de soldaduras o grandes motores.

› Evitar humedades altas que puedan causar condensaciones. Evitar contacto directo con agua. No tirar spray y evitar la inmersión de la balanza en el agua.

› Mantener el indicador de peso limpio.

› Verificar la potencia mostrada en las cantidades de potencia de la etiqueta en su área.

› Conectar los cables principales al conector en el lado del indicador. El interruptor de potencia está situado cerca del inlet principal.

› Conectar la célula de carga tal y como se indica a continuación (CUF 7 vias).

3. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL TECLADO

CERO

Programar el punto cero para todas las pesadas siguientes. La pantalla mostrará cero.

› La función secundaria , realiza la función de tecla “Intro” cuando se programan los parámetros u otras funciones.

TARA

Tarar la balanza. Almacenar el peso actual en memoria como un valor de tara, sustraer el valor tara del peso y mostrar los resultados.

Este es el peso neto. Introducir un valor utilizando la contraseña hará que este valor sea almacenado como un valor de tara.

› La función secundaria , realiza la función de incrementar los dígitos activos cuando se programe el valor para los parámetros u otras funciones.

CAMBIO

Selecciona la información para que aparezca en pantalla cuando se cuentan las piezas y también se utiliza para otras funciones durante los modos de programación.

› La función secundaria moverá el dígito activo hacia la derecha cuando se introduzcan valores para algunas funciones.

CUENTAPIEZAS

Para selecionar el número de piezas de la muestra, dentro de la función cuentapiezas.

› La función secundaria moverá el dígito activo hacia la izquierda cuando se introduzcan valores para algunas funciones.

FUNCIÓN O SET

Utilizada para seleccionar la función de la balanza. Si la balanza está pesando va a seleccionar contado de piezas. I si no se encuentra en el modo pesar devolverá el usuario a pesar.

› Función secundaria SET (C), es para actuar como una tecla de borrado para parámetros o otras funciones.

IMPRIMIR O ESC

Para imprimir los resultados a PC o impresora utilizando la interfaz opcional RS232. También añade el valor a la memoria de acumulación si la función de acumulación no es automática.

› La función secundaria ESC, es para volver a la operación normal cuando la balanza se encuentra en modo de programación de parámetros.

UNIDAD

Cambiar la unidad de pesado.

4. PANTALLA

La pantalla LCD mostrará un valor y una unidad a la derecha de los dígitos. Además hay etiquetas para TARA, peso BRUTO,

CERO.

5. OPERACIONES

PANTALLA A CERO

Puede presionar en cualquier momento para programar el punto cero desde el cual todas las otras pesadas o las cuentas son mesuradas, entre un 4% de potencia hasta cero. Esto será normalmente sólo necesario cuando la plataforma esté vacía. Cuando se obtenga el punto cero la pantalla mostrará el indicador para cero.

La balanza tiene una función de vuelta a cero automática para responder a cualquiera desviación menor o acumulación de material en la plataforma. Sin embargo usted puede necesitar presionar para volver la balanza a cero si aparecen pequeñas cantidades de peso cuando la plataforma está vacía.

TARA

Puesta a cero de la balanza presionando si es necesario .El indicador de cero se encenderá.

Sitúe un contenedor en la plataforma, un valor para su peso aparecerá en pantalla.

Presione para tarar la balanza. EL peso que aparece en pantalla es almacenado como un valor tara y este valor se sustrae de la pantalla, dejando cero en la balanza. El indicador “TARA” se encenderá. Cuando se añade producto aparecerá sólo el peso del producto. La balanza puede ser tarada una segunda vez si otro tipo de producto se añade al primero. De nuevo, sólo el peso que se añade después de tarar aparecerá en pantalla.

Cuando se retira el contenedor aparece en pantalla un valor negativo. Si la balanza fue tarada justo antes de retirar el container este valor es el peso bruto del contenedor añadiendo todo el producto que ha sido retirado. El indicador cero también se encenderá porque la plataforma vuelve a la misma condición. Esto se produce cuando se presiona por última vez.

PESADA DE UNA MUESTRA

Para determinar el peso de una muestra primero tarar el contenedor vacío, después situar la muestra en el contenedor. La pantalla mostrará el peso y las unidades de peso en uso actualmente.

CONTAR PIEZAS

Cuando la balanza muestra el peso, presionando empezará la función de contado de partes.

Antes de empezar, tarar el peso de cualquier contenedor a utilizar, dejando el contenedor vacío sobre la balanza. Sitúe el número de muestras sobre la balanza. El número debe coincidir con las opciones de piezas a contar, 10,20,50,100 o 200 piezas.

Presione para empezar. La balanza mostrará “ P 10” pidiendo una muestra de 10 piezas. Cambie el tamaño de la muestra presionando , la pantalla rodará a través de las opciones: 10, 20,50, 100, 200 y otra vez a 10.

Presione cuando el número coincida con el número de piezas utilizado para la muestra. Cuando se añade más peso la pantalla mostrará el número de las piezas.

Cuando esté en el modo contar, presione para mostrar la unidad de peso, peso total y cantidad (piezas).

Presione para volver a pesar de manera normal.

COMPROBACIÓN DE PESADAS

Comprobación de pesadas es un procedimiento que permite hacer sonar la alarma cuando el peso encima de la balanza se encuentre entre o exceda los valores almacenados en la memoria. La memoria contiene valores para un límite alto y un límite bajo. Cada límite puede ser utilizado o los dos a la vez.

Vea la sección PARÁMETROS para conocer los pasos a seguir para establecer los límites, se utiliza la función “FO H-L”. Cuando los límites hayan sido programados la función de comprobación de pesadas está a punto.

Cuando se sitúa un peso encima de la balanza las flechas mostrarán si el peso está por encima o por debajo de los límites y la alarma sonará tal y como se describe a continuación.

PROGRAMAR AMBOS LÍMITES

En la pantalla aparecerá OK y la alarma sonará cuando el peso se encuentre entre los límites.

PROGRAMAR LÍMITE INFERIOR

El Límite superior está programado a cero.

La pantalla mostrará OK y la alarma sonará cuando el peso sea inferior al límite inferior. Por encima del Límite Inferior la pantalla mostrará HIGH y la alarma se apagará.

PROGRAMAR LÍMITE SUPERIOR

El Límite inferior está programado a cero.

En la pantalla aparecerá LOW y la alarma estará apagada cuando el peso sea inferior al Límite Superior. Por encima del Límite superior aparecerá OK en pantalla y la alarma estará encendida.

AMBOS LIMITES PROGRAMADOS: EL LÍMITE INFERIOR ESTÁ PROGRAMADO MÁS GRANDE QUE EL SUPERIOR

La alarma no sonará nunca y la pantalla mostrará LOW si el peso es inferior al límite inferior, y HIGH si el peso es mayor al Límite

Inferior.

Nota: El peso debe ser mayor que las 20 divisiones de la balanza para poder operar con la comprobación de pesadas.

Para eliminar la función de comprobación de pesado debe introducir cero en ambos límites presionando cuando los límites actuales aparecen en pantalla, entonces presione para almacenar los valores cero.

ACUMULACIÓN DE TOTALES

Puede programarse la balanza para acumular manualmente presionando . Vea la sección PARÁMETROS para detalles de cómo seleccionar el método utilizando la función “F5 PRT”. La función acumulación está sólo disponible cuando se está pesando. No funciona durante el contado de piezas.

El peso que aparece en pantalla será almacenado en la memoria cuando presione y el peso se encuentre estable.

La pantalla mostrará “ACC 1” y después el total en memoria durante 2 segundos antes de volver a la normalidad. Si se instala la interfaz opcional RS232 el peso podrá salir en una impresora o PC.

Reitre el peso, permitiendo que la balanza vuelva a cero y sitúe un segundo peso sobre la balanza. Presione , la pantalla mostrará

“ ACC 2” y después el total nuevo.

Continúe hasta que se hayan añadido todos los pesos.

Para ver los totales de la memoria presione en el punto cero (el indicador CERO está encendido), para borrar la memoria, sólo presione durante la llamada de la memoria en pantalla.

Aún cuando las balanzas están programadas para mostrar en otras unidades de peso la función acumulación guarda el peso en quilogramos.

6. PARÁMETROS

La balanza tiene 6 parámetros que pueden ser programados por el usuario además de un método de introducir la sección calibración.

Para programar los parámetros presione .

La pantalla mostrará la primera función “ FO H-L”.

Presionando correrá a través de otras funciones.

Presionando le permitirá programar la función. Puede que sea necesario o bien utilizar o programar un valor utilizando la tecla

y la tecla para mover el dígito activo y después utilizar la tecla para incrementar un dígito, seguido por la tecla para introducir el valor. Utilice la tecla para dejar el parámetro sin cambiar.

Por ejemplo cuando la pantalla muestra “FO H-L” presione para empezar.

En pantalla aparecerá “Set Lo”, presione para programar el límite inferior, o presione para saltar al próximo parámetro, “Set

Hi” para programar el límite máximo.

Después de presionar para programar un límite, utilice la tecla y las teclas (CAMBIO) para cambiar el dígito parpadeante, después utilice la tecla para incrementar el dígito parpadeante. Continúe hasta el dígito próximo y prográmelo tal como necesite.

Cuando todos los dígitos han sido programados presione para almacenar el valor. La pantalla volverá al parámetro acabado de programar, en especial “Set Lo”. Avance hasta otro parámetro si lo considera necesario o presione la tecla (imprimir) para volver a pesar.

› Programe la retroiluminación para que esté encendida, automática o apagada.

EL ON / EL AU / EL OFF.

ON: siempre ancendida.

OFF: siempre apagada.

AU: encendido/apagado automáticamente, cuando presione cualquier tecla, añadir carga, la luz trasera se encenderá automáticamente.

› Programe la alarma a BP 1, BP 2, BP 3 durante la función comprobación de pesado.

BP 1: sin alarma.

BP 2: si el peso sobrepasa el rango de comprobación pesada, necesitará sonar.

BP 3: si el peso concuerda con el rango de comprobación de pesada, sonará.

› Bloqueo del teclado al tiempo de inutilización del visor.

7. CALIBRACIÓN

La balanza puede ser calibrada utilizando los siguientes procedimientos. Para un método más detallado de calibrar la balanza será necesario introducir el Menú Programación seguro. Vea detalles en la sección 12.

El indicador BR70 puede calibrar utilizando tanto los pesos métricos como en libras, dependiendo de la unidad de peso a utilizar antes de la calibración. La pantalla mostrará tanto Kg o Lb para identificar los pesos esperados.

PREOCEDIMIENTO

› Encienda la balanza.

› Encienda el interruptor, durante la cuenta de 9 a 0 presione .

› La pantalla mostrará “CAL” durante unos cuantos segundos. Mientras muestre CAL presione las teclas , y en secuencia para introducir la sección Calibración. La pantalla mostrará “unLoAd”.

› Retire cualquier peso de la plataforma. Después que el indicador se encuentre estable, presione .

› La pantalla mostrará la última calibración del valor de peso, puede utilizar las teclas , , , introducir nuevos valores de calibración (utilice las teclas , para mover el dígito activo, utilice la tecla para cambiar el valor), después de programar, presione la tecla para asegurarse, la pantalla mostrará “LoAd”. Sitúe el peso de calibración sobre la balanza. Presione .

› Si la calibración es aceptable la pantalla mostrará “PASS” y después volverá a normal. SI aparece un mensaje de error en pantalla intente la calibración otra vez ya que una distracción puede haber evitado una calibración con éxito.

› Si el problema persiste entonces contacte con su proveedor.

› Después de la calibración debe comprobarse la balanza para verificar que la calibración y la linealidad es correcta. SI es necesario repita la calibración, asegúrese especialmente que la balanza esté estable antes de aceptar cualquier peso.

2. INSTALLATION

› L’indicateur de poids doit être installé dans un endroit qui n’altère pas la précision de la pesée.

› Éviter des températures extrêmes. Ne pas installer sous la lumière directe du soleil ou près d’une cliamtisation.

› Éviter les plans de travail inadéquates. Choisir un sol plat et à l’abris des vibrations.

› Ne pas l’utiliser près de grandes sources électrique comme équipements soudures ou grands moteurs.

› Éviter les univers humides qui peuvent causer des condensations. Éviter le contact direct avec l’eau. Ne pas utiliser de spray et éviter l’immersion de la balance dans l’eau.

› Maintenir l’indicateur de poids propre.

› Vérifier la puissance electrique du reseau et de l’appareil.

› Brancher les câbles principaux au connecteur de l’indicateur. L’interrupteur est près de la façade principal.

› Brancher le capteur comme suit (CUF 7 pin).

3. DESCRIPTION DU CLAVIER

ZÉRO

Si le plateau vide, la lecture de l’écran n’est pas à zéro, appuyer sur cette touche pour corriger cette déviation. L’écran se mettra à zéro.

› La fonction secondaire , réalise la fonction de touche Intro pour accéder à la programmation des paramètres et autres fonctions.

TARE

Appuyer sur cette touche pour tarer un récipient. La balance soustraie le poids de ce dernier en mettant à zéro la lecture. Lorsque qu’un produit est introduit dans le récipient, l’indicateur affichera son poids net.

› La fonction secondaire , c’est pour augmenter le chiffre actif quand les paramètres sont réglés ou pour d’autres fonctions.

SHIFT

Pour voir toutes les données dans la fonction comptage et aussi pour régler les paramètres.

› La fonction secondaire , c’est pour déplacer le chiffre actif vers la droite pour le réglage des paramètres.

ECHANTILLON

Pour choisir le nombre de pièces de l’échantillon, dans la fonction de comptage.

5. OPÉRATIONS

MISE A ZERO

Dans le cas oú, durant son utilisation, le plateau vide, l’écran n’affiche pas (0), ou que le symbole de “ZERO” ne s’affiche pas, appuyer sur pour sa correction.

L’indicateur dispose d’un système interne de correction du zéro (autozero), mais ce système se désactive quand l’appareil est taré ou a un poids sur le plateau.

TARE

Cette fonction permet de peser un produit introduit dans un récipient en obtenant d’un poids net de celui-ci.

Avec le display affichant “0”, poser le récipient sur la plateforme.

Appuyer sur , l’indicateur soustraira le poids du récipient et la lecture se mettra à zéro.

Poser le produit dans le récipient, le poids net de celui ci s’affichera.

Vous pouvez répéter les tares plusieurs fois, appuyer sur après chaque ajout de produit.

Pour revenir au mode normal de pesage, retirer le récipient de la plateforme et appuyer sur . Ainsi, l’indicateur reviendra à sa position de repos “0”.

PESER D’UN ÉCHANTILLON

Pour déterminer le poids d’un échantillon premier peser le récipient vide, puis placer l’échantillon dans le récipient.

FONCTION COMPTAGE

Pour accéder à la fonction comptage, appuyer sur .

Si un récipient va être utilisé, le poser sur la plateforme et appuyer sur pour soustraire le poids.

Poser sur la plateforme ou à l’intérieur du récipient le nombre de pièces utilisées pour l’échantillonnage. Ce nombre de pièces doit coïncider avec les quantités prédéfinies de l’indicateur: 10, 20, 50, 100 ou 200 pièces.

Appuyer sur , l’écran affichera “P 10” demandant le nombre de pièces posé sur la plateforme. En appuyant sur , l’écran changera la quantité: 10, 20, 50, 100, 200. Lorsque la quantité déposée s’affiche, appuyer sur la pour confirmer.

L’indicateur a accepté l’échantillon introduit à partir de cet instant, vous pouvez ajouter le reste des pièces à compter. L’écran affichera la quantité total des pièces.

Durant la fonction de comptage, vous pouvez appuyer sur pour voir le poids unitaire, le poids total et la quantité.

Pour sortir et revenir au mode normal de pesage, appuyer sur .

VÉRIFICATION DE PESÉES

Cette fonction permet de programmer les limites de poids (inférieur et supérieur).

• Voir la section de paramètres pour configurer les valeurs des limites.

Quand vous posez un produit sur le plateau de la balance, les flèches afficheront si le poids du produit est au dessus ou en dessous des limites prédéfinies, et en émettant un bip sonore :

L’écran affichera le message OK et émettra un signal sonore quand le poids sera entre les deux limites.

PROGRAMMATION DE LA LIMITE INFÉRIEURE

Dans ce cas, la limite supérieur doit être programmé à zéro.

L’écran affichera le message OK et émettra un signal sonore quand le poids est en dessous de la limite inférieure.

Si le poids dépasse la valeur de la limite inférieure, l’écran affichera HIGH et le bip sonore s’arrêtera.

PROGRAMMATION DE LA LIMITE SUPÉRIEURE

Dans ce cas, la limite inférieure doit être programmé à zéro.

L’écran affichera le message LOW et le bip sonore cessera quand le poids sera inférieur à la limite inférieure.

Quand le poids est supérieur à la limite supérieure, l’écran affichera OK et émettra un bip sonore.

PROGRAMMATION DES DEUX LIMITES (la limite inférieure est programmé au dessus de la limite supérieure)

Le bip sonore ne s’activera jamais et l’écran affichera LOW si le poids est en dessous de la limite inférieure et affichera HIGH si le poids dépasse la limite inférieure.

Note: Pour que la fonction de limites fonctionnent, le poids doit être supérieure à 20 divisions.

Pour supprimer cette fonction doit introduire un zéro dans les deux limites en appuyant quand les actuelles limites se montreran dans l’écran, alors appuyez pour stocker les valeurs zéro.

ACCUMULATION DE TOTAUX

La balance peut effectuer l’accumulation de pesées de façon manuelle, en appuyant sur . Voir l’aparté des paramètres. Cette fonction est disponible seulement en mode de pesage.

Une fois le poids stable, appuyer sur , le poids sera mémorisé.

L’écran affichera “ACC 1”, puis le poids total mémorisé (pendant 2 secondes ). Dans le cas où la sortie de données RS 232 soit installée, les données seront envoyées à un PC ou une imprimante.

Retirer le produit et laisser l’écran se remettre à zéro. Poser le second poids et appuyer sur . L’écran affichera “ACC 2” et de nouveau le poids total accumulé.

Répéter la manipulation jusqu’à terminer l’opération.

Pour voir les totaux, l’écran doit être à zéro (symbole de zéro activé), appuyer sur .

Pour effacer les accumulations de la mémoire, appuyer sur au moment ou l’écran affiche les données de la mémoire.

Note: Si la balance a été réglée avec une autre unité de pesée, l’accumulation de pesée se fera toujours en Kg.

6. PARAMÈTRES

L’indicateur dispose de 6 paramètres qui peuvent être configurés par l’utilisateur et une méthode d’accéder à la section de calibrage.

Pour accéder à la configuration de paramètres, appuyer sur :

• Pour se déplacer dans les paramètres, appuyer sur .

Exemple pour configurer le premier paramètre “F0 H-L”:

L’écran affichera “F0 H-L”, appuyer sur pour accéder au paramètre.

L’écran affichera “Set Lo”, appuyer sur pour configurer la limite inférieure ou bien sur pour accéder au paramètre suivant. Le message “Set Hi” est pour programmer la limite supérieure.

Une fois appuyée sur pour configurer les limites, utiliser les touches et pour changer le chiffre clignotant, utiliser la touche pour augmenter la valeur du chiffre. Répéter la manipulation jusqu’à augmenter la valeur du chiffre. Répéter la manipulation jusqu’à régler tous les chiffres.

2. INSTALLATION

› The weighing indicator should be sited in location that will not degrade the accuracy.

› Avoid extremes of temperatures. Do not place in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents.

› Avoid unsuitable table. The tables or floor must be rigid and not vibrate. Do not place near vibrating machinery.

› Avoid unstable power sources. Do not use near large users of electricity such as welding equipment or large motors.

› Avoid high humidity that might cause condensation. Avoid direct contact with water. Do not spray or immerse the scale in water.

› Keep the weighing indicator clean.

› Verify the voltage showing on the label matches the voltage in your area.

› Attach the mains cable to the connector on the side of the indicator. The power switch is located next to the mains inlet.

3. KEY DESCRIPTION

ZERO

Set the zero point for all subsequent weighing. The display shows zero.

› A secondary function , of “Enter” key when setting parameters or other functions.

TARE

Tares the scale. Stores the current weight in memory as a tare value, subtracts the tare value from the weight and shows the results.

This is the net weight. Entering a value using the keypad will store that value as the tare value.

› A secondary function , of incrementing the active digit when setting a value for parameters or other functions.

SHIFT

Selects the data to be displayed when parts counting and is used for other functions during setting modes.

› Will move the active digit to the right when setting values for some functions.

SMPL

Select sample quantities when parts counting.

› Move the active digit left when setting values for other functions.

FUNC OR SET

Used to select the function of the scale. If the scale is weighing it will select parts counting. Of it is not in weighing mode it will return the user to weighing.

› Secondary function SET(C), is to act as a clear key when setting values for parameters or other functions.

PRINT OR ESC

To print the results to a PC or printer using the optional RS232 interface. It also adds the value to the accumulation memory if the accumulation function is not automatic.

4. DISPLAY

The LCD display will show a value and a unit to the right of the digits. In addition there are labels for TARE, GROSS weight, ZERO.

5. OPERATIONS

ZEROING THE DISPLAY

You can press the key at any time to set the zero point from which all other weighing and counting is measured, within 4% of power up zero. This will usually only be necessary when the platform is empty. When the zero point is obtained the display will show the indicator for zero.

The scale has an automatic rezeroing function to account for minor drifting or accumulation of material on the platform. However you may need to press the key to rezero the scale if small amounts of weight are shown when the platform is empty.

TARING

Zero the scale by pressing the key if necessary. The zero indicator will be on.

Place a container on the platform, a value for its weight will be displayed.

Press the key to tare the scale. The weight that was displayed is stored as the tare value and that value is subtracted from the display, leaving zero on the display. The “TARE” indicator will be on. As product is added only the weight of the product will be shown.

The scale could be tared a second time if another type of product was to be added to the first one. Again only the weight that is added after taring will be displayed.

When the container is removed a negative value will be shown. If the scale was tared just before removing the container this value is the gross weight of the container plus all product that was removed. The zero indicator will also be on because the platform is back to the same condition it was when the key was last pressed.

WEIGHING A SAMPLE

To determine the weight of a sample first tare the empty container then place the sample in the container. the display will show the weight and the units of weight currently in use.

PARTS COUNTING

When the scale is showing weight, pressing the key will start the parts counting function.

Before beginning, tare the weight of any container that will be used, leaving the empty container on the scale. Place the number of samples on the scale. The number should match the options for parts counting, 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200 pieces.

Press the key to begin. The scale will show “P 10” asking for a sample size of 10 parts. Change the sample size by pressing the

key, the display will cycle through the options: 10,20, 50, 100, 200 and back to 10.

Press the key when the number matches the number of parts used for the sample. As more weight is added the display will show the number of parts (pcs).

When in counting mode, you can press key to show unit weight, total weight and quantity (pcs).

Press the key to return to normal weighing.

CHECK-WEIGHING

Check-weighing is a procedure to cause an alarm to sound when the weight on the scale meets or exceeds values stored in memory.

The memory holds values for a high limit and a low limit. Either limit can be used or both can be used.

See PARAMETERS SECTION for the procedure to be used to set the limits, function “F0 H-L” is used. After limits have been set the

Check-weighing function is enabled.

When a weight is placed on the scale the arrows will show if the weight is above or below the limits and the beeper will sound as described below.

BOTH LIMITS SET

The display will show OK and the beeper will sound when the weight is between the limits.

LOW LIMIT SET

High limit is set to zero.

The display will show OK and the beeper will sound when the weight is less than the Low Limit. Above the Low Limit the display will show HIGH and the beeper will be off.

HIGH LIMIT SET

Low limit is set to zero.

The display will show LOW and the beeper will be off when the weight is less than the High Limit. Above the High Limit the display will show OK and the beeper will be on.

BOTH LIMITS SET. LOW IS SET GRATER THAN HIGH

The beeper will never sound and the display will show LOW if the weight is less that the Low limit, and HIGH if the weight is greater than the Low Limit.

Note: The weight must be greater than 20 scale divisions for the checkweighing to operate.

To disable the Check-Weighing function enter zero into both limits by pressing the key when the current limits are shown then pressing to store the zero values.

ACCUMULATED TOTAL

The scale can be set to accumulate manually by pressing the . key. See the PARAMETERS Section for details of selecting the method using function “F5 PRT”. The accumulation function is only available when weighing. It is disabled during parts counting.

The weight displayed will be stored in memory when the key is pressed and the weight is stable.

The display will show “ACC 1” and then the total in memory for 2 seconds before returning to normal. If the optional RS232 interface is installed the weight will be output to a printer or PC.

Remove the weight, allowing the scale to return to zero and put a second weight on. Press the key, the display will show “ACC 2” and then the new total.

Continue until all weights have been added.

To view the totals in memory press key in zero point (ZERO indicator on), to clear the memory, just press key during memory recall display.

When the scales are set to display in other units of weight the accumulation function is still keeping the weight in kilograms.

6. PARAMETERS

The scale has 6 parameters that can be set by the user plus a method of entering the calibration section.

To set parameters press the key.

The display will show the first function, “F0 H-L”.

Pressing the key will cycle through the other functions.

Pressing key will allow you to set the function. It may be necessary to either use or set a value using the key and key to move the active digit and then using the key to increment a digit, followed by the key to enter the value. Use the key to leave a parameter unchanged.

For example when the display shows “F0 H-L” press the key to begin.

The display will show “Set Lo”, press the key to set the low limit, or press the key to skip to the next parameter, “Set Hi” for setting the high limit.

After pressing the key to set a limit, use the key and keys to change the flashing digit, then use the key to increment the flashing digit. Continue to the next digit and set it as needed.

When all digits have been set press the key to store the value. The display will go back to the parameter just set, i.e. “Set Lo”.

Advance to another parameter if needed or press the key to return to weighing.

7. CALIBRATION

The scale can be calibrated using the following procedure. For a more detailed method of calibrating the scale it will be necessary to enter the secure Programming Menu. See detail in section 12.

The BR70 weighing indicator can calibrate using either metric or pound weights, depending on the weighing unit in use before calibration. The display will show either “kg” or “lb” to identify the weights expected.

PREOCEDURE

› Turn the power off.

› Turn the power back on, during the counting from 9 to 0 press the key.

› The display will show “CAL” for a few seconds. While it is showing “CAL” press the , and keys in sequence to enter the

Calibration section. The display will show “unLoAd”.

› Remove any weight from the platform. After stable indicator on, press the key.

› The display will show last calibrate weight value, you can use , , , key input new calibrate weight value (use , key to move active digit, use key to change value), after you setting, press key to sure, display will show “LoAd”. Place the calibration weight on the scale. Press the key.

› If the calibration is acceptable the display will show “PASS” and then return to normal. If an error message is shown try calibration again as a disturbance may have prevented a successful calibration.

› If the problem persist then contact your dealer.

› After calibration the scale should be checked to verify the calibration and linearity is correct. If necessary repeat calibration, especially be certain the scale is stable before accepting any weight.

RESOLUTION

Remove weight from the scale.

If the problem persist contact your dealer or Baxtran scale for assistance.

Enter date using correct format and reasonable values.

Format: yy:mm:dd

Enter time using correct format and reasonable values.

Format: hh:mm:ss

The scale was outside the normal zero setting range either when it was turned on or when the key was pressed. Remove weight from the scale and try again. Use the key to set the display to zero value. If the problem persist contact your dealer for assistance.

Keyboard damaged

The values from the A/D converter are outside the normal range. Remove weight from the scale if overloaded, make sure the pan is attached. Indicates the load cell or the electronics may be faulty. If the problem persist contact your dealer for assistance.

When turn on the power, if internal counts is not stable, display will have “Err

9”, please check the platform and load cell. If the problem persist contact your dealer for assistance.
