Osprey Talon G2, G1 and G1H hardware-based
streaming contribution encoders are designed
for A/V and broadcast customers looking for
end-to-end video-streaming tools. The Talon
series ingests video from multiple formats,
encodes it to H.264, and delivers it over IP.
Capable of ingesting video via 3G-SDI, HDMI,
or Analog Composite, Talon series encode up
to three streams simultaneously, with frame
alignment across all streams for multiple-bitrate RTMP streaming. Encode configurations
are independent (unless frame aligned)
allowing users to create up to three separate
encodes, i.e. one RTMP stream, one UDP
stream and a separate archive saved as .ts file.
A simple, Web-based interface gives users
quick access to encoding settings for easy
configuration. Talon’s small form factor, low
power consumption and silent, fanless
operation mean users can effectively set it and
forget it.
Depending on the model chosen, additional
features such as LCD information screen and
One-Touch Start are available.

The Osprey 800a audio input card provides
increased flexibility with up to four stereo channels
of audio. Designed to work with most of the Osprey
800 series cards, simply attach it to an Osprey 816e,
820e, 825e, 840e or 845e for improved audio
performance. This audio input card also offers

The 800a can be purchased with an 800e
Series capture card, or as a separate item to
expand your existing product. It connects
directly to the 800e Series requiring no PCIe
connection of its own.
Driver Support
Support for the 800a is already included in
the drivers for the 800e series capture card
so no additional drivers are needed.

The USB Video Bridge capture device series
includes 3G-SDI and HDMI models providing
wide-ranging adaptability for complex
workflows. Connecting directly to your
computer’s USB 3.0 port, the Video Bridge is
true plug-and-play, requiring no drivers in
Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X.
Two control scenarios support varying user
requirements. Software control mode passes
all available rates and resolutions to the
capture software. Manual mode allows the
pre-selection of a frame rate and resolution,
allowing the user to control the load
delivered to the USB bus.
A “Follow Input” selection passes the input 1
to 1 to the host PC. For confidence
monitoring, the input and output resolutions,
and frame rates are displayed on the unit’s
LCD screen.

The Scaling Converter Series of products
includes these “Swiss Army Knife” converters,
an all-in-one solution to your SDI and HDMI
needs. Supporting conversion from SDI to
HDMI (SHCSA-2) or HDMI to SDI (HSCSA-2) as
well as Scaling, Audio, and Color Space
options, these unique tools also feature Video
Frame Rate Conversion and Up / Down
Scaling Options. AES/EBU and Analog Audio

MULTI VIEWER
3G-SDI SCALING MULTI VIEWER
The MVS-3 combines the features of a scaling
converter with a multi-viewer.
When used as a scaler/converter, any one of
the four 3G-SDI inputs can be routed to the
three parallel outputs (2x3G-SDI, 1x HDMI)
and scaled as desired.
Used as a Multi-Viewer, two or more inputs
can be scaled and directed to the outputs in a
variety of useful layouts. In addition, audio
bars can be overlaid on each for quick signal
monitoring.
Outputs support Up and Down Scaling and
frame rate conversion.
MVS-3 can be configured via LAN or USB. It

these SDI Distribution Amplifiers with
Automatic Input Detection will accept any

Automatic cable equalization helps lessen

These simple, one-touch source switchers are
a must-have for monitor, lab and AV
environments. Osprey switchers are not
frame aligned for live broadcast switching,
but are purpose built as source switches.
Depending upon the model selected these
switchers support SDI from SD to 3G, and
HDMI up to 4K 60fps.
Each has four inputs with sync indicators
which light front panel LEDs. The touch of a
single button will switch the output to the
selected source, or use the included IR
remote. The SDI version has 2 parallel outputs
and even supports ASI.
For ease of use the switchers can be powered
from any USB2.0 / 3.0 port or with the
included External Power Supply using the
