Wireless Motion Sensor (DLMS)
This PIR (Passive Infrared) Motion Sensor can be used
with any Domia Lite receiver to control appliances or
lights according to movement. Like all Domia Lite
devices it is wireless and simple to install. It can be
located wherever it is needed, providing that it is within
25 meters of the receiver you wish it to control.
INSTALLATION
Position the motion sensor wherever it is needed.
Places you should avoid include
• on or near large metal objects.
• on something that is unstable and likely to move
(such as a loose fence or small tree).
• where bright light shines directly onto the PIR
detector.
• where the unit may detect heat sources (extractor
fans, tumble dryer exhausts etc), reflective surfaces or
nearby overhanging branches.
The ideal height is 2.5meters (to make the most use of
the units detection range). Mounting higher than this
will give a greater range but decrease sensitivity,
mounting lower will give a smaller range. The sensor is
more sensitive towards movement across its field of
vision than towards it, so site the unit so it looks across
the usual approach to your property.
The sensor is connected to a swivel panel that allows
you to adjust the area of detection. Tilting it upwards
will increase the detection distance, tilting it
downwards will reduce the detection distance. The
swivel panel is adjusted by 15° at a time.
The detection area can be further tailored by removing
one or both of the slot-in lens screening panels. The
widest area is provided with both removed.
CONTROL SWITCHES
Set the three adjustment controls on the underside of
the unit.
1. TIME – switch to the time setting required. Alters the
level of time the receiver stays on for after activation.
Minimum is 4 seconds and maximum 5 minutes.
2. AUTOMATIC – set to become active when a certain
level of darkness is reached in the evening.
3. OFF – switches off the PIR function.
4. ML – switches the PIR to work with the CHIME.
RECEIVER (nb set Automatic switch to + and TIME
to -).
5. YC – switches the PIR to work with ON/OFF
RECEIVERS.
6. HOUSE – sets the House Code.
7. UNIT – sets the Unit Code.
For more information on House and Unit Codes see
overleaf.
TROUBLESHOOTING AND TESTING

House and Unit Code.
• Check the setting on the TIME is as required.
• Adjust the angle until the required detection area is
reached.
• Make sure the CHIME RECEIVER or other RECEIVER is
plugged in.
• If the AUTOMATIC setting is being used and the
system starts too early this can be adjusted.

Home control made simple
What is Domia Lite?
Gone are the days when you needed a PC, a degree in
electrical engineering and more money than sense to
automate your home. Domia Lite now offers a
completely wireless remote control system for your
home.
To speak to each other the transmitters and receivers
must first speak the same language. To ensure they
understand each other you need to make sure they are
set to the same House Code. All products have a House
Code disc on them for setting this. House Codes run
from A-P.
It’s really simple to get started and even easier to
develop and expand. Domia Lite offers a range of
compatible products designed to provide you with
limitless expansion possibilities. You can now take
control of your lights and electrical appliances in and
around your home and transform your humble abode
into a smart home. Amaze yourself and friends as the
wireless Domia Lite system passes through walls and
windows, and distances of up to 30 metres, to place
control right at your fingertips.
The transmitters recognise different receivers by each
receiver being given a different radio channel. This is
set using the Unit Code disc. Unit Codes can run from
1-16.
How does it work?
You use a transmitter to send a radio signal to one or
more receivers, which execute the command as soon
as the signal is received. For example, a transmitter
could be a remote control and you may tell the receiver
to switch off the light plugged into it.
All Domia Lite products can be combined with each
other. Feel free to mix and match to create your perfect
smart home.

Domia Lite Wireless Remote Control (DLR)
Domia Lite Wireless Appliance Switch (3500W) (DL3500)
Domia Lite Wireless Lamp Dimmer (300W) (DL300)
You can have a transmitter operating more than one
receiver simultaneously simply by setting the receivers
to the same Unit Code. Similarly more than one
transmitter can control a receiver if the House and Unit
Codes match.
