JAI’s IIT (In-Image Triggering) Camera System is an all-in-one camera solution
capable of efficiently supporting a wide range of vehicle imaging applications.
It is an easily installed, compact, self-triggering camera system with a fully
integrated license plate reading engine. The single housing incorporates the
camera, illuminator, vehicle detection system, ANPR/ALPR processing and
integrated light sensing technology.

Installation is easy and provides a variety of different interfaces and options for
transmittal of data and/or images. Available outputs include Ethernet, GPRS,
and 3G. Image output format can be set for either TIFF or JPEG with adjustable
compression ratio.
The system is designed for low power operation. The single housing camera
includes heater and demister for 24/7 operation under all weather conditions.
The IIT Camera System can be used in many different vehicle imaging applications such as: open-road tolling, travel time information; congestion
charging systems; section control speed enforcement; red light enforcement;
security access control; parking; and traffic monitoring.

System Weight
The system is built around a progressive scan Ethernet-based intelligent
camera with a selection of fixed focal lenses. The system includes a built-in IR
illuminator which provides sufficient light for nighttime operation, and provides
an interface for triggering external flash or other supplemental light sources in
case of total vehicle illumination.
