* KILAMIC products ensure effective prevention of bacteria propagating on surfaces of products. .
However, sterilizing effects may not be adequately ensured when dust, oil film, etc. cover the surfaces. .

Precautions for Installation
■ Required water pressure
• INAX recommends that the supply line pressure be between 20 to 80 psi. .
■ Rough-In Distance
This product may be used when the distance between the wall and the center of the floor drain is .
12" (305 mm). Check this distance prior to installation.
Preparation before Installation
• Remove any residue from the closet flange.
• Replace the old closet flange bolts.

Toilet Bowl Installation
1.Drain socket installation
1) Draw a line on the front side of the flange at a point 3 3/4" from the center of the flange.

2) Temporarily connect the drain socket to the closet flange, without a wax ring. At the back of the drain
socket, mark the locations of the holes to be drilled. Disconnect the drain socket from the flange.[Note 1]
3) Drill two ø 5/16” holes in the marked locations.
4) Insert the anchors into the floor. If necessary, use a small hammer.
5) Attach the wax ring to the drain socket flange.
6) Secure the drain socket with the washers and mounting screws.[Note 2]
* When installing on a wood floor, inserting the anchor is not necessary. Secure the drain socket directly with
the mounting screw.

• Align the center of the drain socket with that of the flange when attaching
the drain socket to the flange.
* Attaching the drain socket off the center may cause clogging.

• Make sure the floor is level before installing the drain socket.

2.Installing the mounting brackets
1) Align the installation template with the back of the drain socket. Temporarily place the mounting
brackets at the locations shown in the illustration, and mark the locations to drill the mounting holes.
2) Drill holes in the marked locations (3/8" diameter and 2 3/4" depth), and then insert the anchors into
the holes.
3) Attach the mounting bracket with the washer and mounting bracket screw. [Note 3]
4) Secure the mounting base with the washer and mounting base screw.
5) Attach the stickers to the floor at the locations indicated by the arrows.
6) Remove the installation pattern paper.

• Be sure to attach the mounting bracket at the specified mounting positions.

3.Connecting the water supply line
1) Attach the water supply hose from the hole on the rear of the tank to the fill valve shank.[Note 5]
2) Tighten the supply hose by hand, and then use a wrench to tighten it another ¼ turn.[Note 6]

well, clean the strainer.

• The water supply line should have a 7/8" ballcock thread at the point where it connects to the fill valve.

• Do not tighten the hose excessively.

4.Mounting the toilet bowl
* Be sure to carry out mounting of the toilet bowl with two persons.
1) Insert the drain outlet on the toilet bowl into the rubber sleeve on the drain socket, referring to the
stickers on the floor and the toilet bowl.
2) Place the adhesive for securing on the mounting base.
3) Slowly lower the front of the toilet bowl so that the adhesive for securing is stuck to the mounting plate,
and then push the toilet bowl until it contacts the floor.

4) Remove the stickers from the toilet bowl and the floor.
5) Attach the washer to the toilet bowl mounting screw to secure the toilet bowl.[Note 7]
6) Attach the bolt cap to the toilet bowl mounting screw.
7) Apply a bead of caulk around the base of the toilet bowl.
8) Attach the water supply hose to the water shutoff valve.[Note 8]

• Do not tighten the screw excessively when securing the toilet bowl.
* The toilet bowl may crack.

• The water shutoff valve must have a ½” NPT outlet.
* Water leakage may occur.

■ Check for proper operation
1) When the tank is full, check that the water level in the tank
matches the water line marking on the overflow pipe. If the
level does not match the marking, follow the water level
adjustment instructions below.
2) Press the flush button to check that the toilet bowl is
flushed.
3) Verify that there is no leakage from any connecting sections
when the toilet bowl is flushed.

1) Remove the tank lid.
2) Turn the fill valve adjusting screw.
• Counterclockwise: Water level lowers.
• Clockwise: Water level rises.
3) After adjustment, flush the toilet bowl to check the water level.

Toilet Seat Installation
1. Attachment of toilet seat mounting plate
1) Insert the toilet seat mounting plate bolt into the toilet seat mounting hole on the toilet bowl. [Note 9]
2) Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the toilet seat mounting plate bolt to secure the plate.

• Attach the toilet seat mounting plate so that the tilted surface faces the front of the toilet bowl.
2. Mounting toilet seat
1) Set the hinged section of the toilet seat to the toilet seat mounting plate.
2) Insert the toilet seat securing screw into the mounting hole on the side of the toilet seat. [Note 10]

• Be sure to insert the toilet seat mounting screw.
* Otherwise, the toilet seat will be loose.

Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Water supply valve closed.
Does not flush
Supply line blocked.
Pushrods do not contact flush

Bowl water level too low.
Weak or sluggish flush

Partially clogged trapway and/or
drain pipe and/or vent.

Flush valve seat and/or flapper
worn or deformed.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Open valve and allow water to fill
tank.
Shut off water supply, disconnect
supply line and inspect all washers.
Adjust pushrod length as required.
Check that refill tube is connected
to the overflow tube.
Open supply valve fully. Be sure
that proper water supply line size is
used.
Remove obstruction. Consult a
plumber if necessary.
Clean the strainer inside the fill
valve shank.
Disconnect water supply hose and
reconnect.
Check bowl/floor connection. Verify
that bowl is properly tightened.
Adjust pushrod length as needed.
Shut off water supply. Replace flush
valve gasket.
