Thank you for choosing our portable DVD player. This is a DVD player with excellent image and sound. You
can use it at home, in the office, in hotels, in cars, etc.
NOTICE
Non-professional staffs do not touch the laser lens. Please wash hands before cleaning up the laser lens or
go for professional maintenance sites, so as to avoid electrostatic breakdown or damage to the laser lens.

The lightning mark in a black triangle warns the user to be careful of
electrical shock because of high voltage contained inside.
The exclamation mark in a black triangle warns the user that important
instructions for operation and assistance are provided.
Laser product mark: This mark is on the rear panel of the device,
indicating that class-1 laser beam is weak that there is no radiation
hazard outside of the device.
LASER SAFETY
This set employs an optical laser beam system in the CD mechanism designed with built-in
safeguards. Do not attempt to disassemble. Exposure to this visible laser light beam may
be harmful to the human eye. This is a Class-1 laser product. Use of controls, adjustments
or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous laser light beam
exposure. This compact disc player should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except
qualified service personnel. The laser mechanism in the set corresponds to the stylus
(needle) of a record player. Although this product uses a laser pick-up lens, it is completely
safe when operated according to directions.

 Please do not place the device in a sealed container to protect it from high temperature.
 Please do not place the device under direct sunlight or close to any heat sources.
 Please do not place the device close to objects with magnetic field.
 Please do not place the device near liquid area. If incidentally liquid penetrates into the device, please
remove the plug immediately and seek for technician’s assistance.
 Please place the device on a horizontal surface, and do not place heavy objects on top of the device.
 Please use standby mode when the player is suspended. Please remove the AC power cord or lithium
battery if not being used in a long time.
 Please do not put your fingers or other objects into the device.
 The disk-drive read header will have dew drop under the following conditions:
1) The device is being opened for a long time.
2) In a room with steam or damp.
3) Move the device from a low to a high temperature environment.

USING THE BUILT-IN BATTERY
PRECAUTIONS
High-capacity rechargeable lithium battery is built-in in this player, it is strictly forbidden to take the battery
apart by your own. Seek for professional technicians’ assistance to replace the battery for you.
 Please do not throw the battery into fire or to any heat area; please also do not store the battery in any
area that is having high temperature.
 Please do not remove the battery when it is in use or being charged.
 Please do not connect the anode with the cathode of the battery directly as it may cause serious
battery damage.
 Please do not have the battery the battery immerse into water or any other liquids; please keep the
battery away from damp area when storage it.
 Please do not stab, hammer, or trample the battery.
 If you want to have a rest or sleep, or the player is not to be used for a long time, please unplug the
power adaptor of the player and turn off the power switch to prevent battery damage, and any incident
caused by overcharging.
 When lithium battery is being used on the device, it is advised to adjust the volume to the middle (small
volume shall save more battery power) to prolong the power consumption time of the battery. This is
also useful during your trip.
METHODS OF USING THE BATTERY
 For first-time use, the battery power should be used up before recharging and the battery must be fully
charged for about 4 to 5 hours.
 It can be used under an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C.

numbers, please press the “SHIFT” button to set it at “On”. To switch back to number function, please press

OPERATING WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. The remote control must point at the remote sensor in order for the DVD player to function correctly.
2. The remote control works best at a distance less than 5 meters from the DVD player and at an angle of
less than 30° horizontally from each side.

Connect the DVD player with the power source via the included power adaptor.
Flip opens the panel.
Press the “Open” button to open the disc tray cover.
Insert a disc into the disc tray with label side facing upward.
Align the center of the disc with the center of the disc tray and press down the disc gently and close the
disc tray cover
6. Set the power switch at “ON” to power on the DVD player.
7. Press the OK or Play / Pause button on the DVD player to start playing files in the disc.
8. Press the “Stop” button to stop playing.
PLAY MULTIMEDIA FILES
Please insert a USB disk or SD/SDHC memory card to the corresponding port for multimedia playback.
1. Play multimedia files under DVD mode (supports up to 32 GB).
Please insert the USB disk into the “USB (DVD)” port.
2. Play multimedia files under DVB-T (digital TV) mode (supports up to 32 GB).
Please insert the USB disk into the “USB (DVB-T)” port.
3. Play multimedia files in the memory card (supports up to 32 GB in DVD mode).
Insert the memory card into the memory card slot.
CONNECTING EARPHONE
1. Connect the 3.5 mm earphones into the earphone jack.
2. Adjust the sound volume at the suitable level.

CONNECTING TO EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT
If you would like to connect the DVD player with external equipment, please use the included AV cable for
the connection.

RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT
UNDER DVD MODE
1. Press SETUP and the SETUP MENU appears on the screen.
2. Select Preference Page.
3. Use DIRECTION keys and select “Default” then press OK.
UNDER DVB-T MODE
1. In the System menu select “Restore Factory Default”.
2. Use Right / Left keys and press OK or Right key.
3. Enter the password (default password is “000000”) and press OK again to confirm. This option will
delete all preset settings and return to the factory default settings.

PLAYBACK FROM A DISC
HOW TO START PLAYBACK FROM THE MENU SCREEN
1. Press TITLE/MENU to access the menu screen.
2. Press DIRECTION keys to select the title.
3. Press the OK button and the DVD video player will start play-back from the title selected.
NOTE: You can also input the assigned number of the title to select it directly.
FAST FORWARD & FAST BACKWARD
You can fast forward or fast backward the file by the following order and speeds by pressing the fast
forward or fast backward buttons during playback if the file supports this feature.
To resume normal playback, please press the Play / Pause button.
PLAY IN SLOW-MOTION
You can play the file in slow motion by the following order and speeds by pressing the “Number 6 / Slow”
button during playback if the file supports this feature.
To resume normal playback, please press the Play / Pause button.
PLAYING BACK A DISC WITH JPEG FILES

Load the disc with JPEG files in the DVD player.
Use Up or Down key to select a folder and press OK or Play / Pause button to open the file.
Press the Repeat button to choose the preferred playback mode (repeat one or repeat all).
Use Up or Down button to choose the file you would like to play.
Press OK or Play / Pause button to start the playback.
During the playback, press STOP or MENU button to view the content.
If the disc is a DVD, press the ZOOM button on the remote control can change the size of the picture
by the order of 2x  3x  4x  1/2x  1/3x  1/4x  normal speed.

LOCATING A SPECIFIC TITLE, CHAPTER OR TRACK
DVD discs are normally divided into titles which are sub-divided into chapters. VCDs and CDs are divided
into only tracks.

LOCATING A TITLE USING THE TITLE MENU
You can locate a specific title using the title menu function, if a DVD video disc contains a title menu.
1. Press the TITLE button and the screen will show the title menu.
2. Press the DIRECTION keys to select the preferred title (you can also locate the preferred tile by
pressing the assigned number by the number buttons on remote control).
3. Press the OK button and the DVD player will start playing from chapter 1 of the selected title.
NOTE:

PLAYING REPEATEDLY
This DVD player allows you to playback a specific TITLE, CHAPTER, TRACK, or SEGMENT repeatedly.
Please press the REPEAT button for this feature.

HOW TO REPEAT A SPECIFIC SEGMENT
1. Press the A-B button at the beginning of the segment in which you want to repeat playback (point A).
2. Press the A-B button again at the end of the segment (point B). Thus the DVD player will play the set
segment (from A to B) repeatedly.
3. Press the A-B button again can cancel this function.

HOW TO SET TITLES, CHAPTERS, OR TRACKS IN A FAVORITE ORDER
1. Press the PROGRAM button to enter the PROGRAM menu.
2. Use number keys to key in the preferred title and chapter.
3. Highlight “START” and press OK or Play / Pause button to start the program playback.
4. To cancel the programming, move the cursor to “STOP” and press OK or Play / Pause button.

SELECTING THE CAMERA ANGLE
This DVD player allows you to select from several different angles.
If the DVD disc was recorded with multiple angles, you have the option to change the camera angle of the
scene you are watching.
When you playback a scene recorded with multiple angles, press the SHIFT first and Number 4 / ANGLE
button. Press the Number 4 / ANGLE button repeatedly to change the angel.
SETTING THE PARENTAL LOCK
You can use the parental lock function only with DVD discs that are equipped with the parental lock feature.
SETTING THE PARENTAL LOCK
DVD video discs equipped with the parental lock function are rated according to their content. The contents
allowed by a parental lock level and the way a DVD disc can be controlled may vary from disc to disc.
For example, if the disc allows, you could edit out violent scenes unsuitable for children and replace them
with more suitable scenes, or lock out playback of the disc all together.
1. Press SETUP and the SETUP MENU appears on the screen.
2. Select Preference Page.
3. Use DIRECTION keys and select “Parental” and press OK or PLAY/PAUSE.

4. Select ratings and press PLAY/PAUSE.
5. Enter your password then press PLAY/PAUSE (default password is 123456).
6. Press SETUP to exit.

This DVD player allows you to customize your personal settings.
1. Press SETUP button.
2. Press DIRECTION keys to select the item for customization and press OK or Play/Pause to enter the
setting.
3. After the setting is done, press SETUP to exit the menu.

DVB-T (DIGITAL TV)
When it is the first time to use the DVB system or the DVD player has been reset back to the factory’s
default setting, the user will be requested to go through the First Time Installation. If you would like to
switch to the DVD mode, please press the MODE button.
FIRST TIME INSTALLATION
[OSD Language] Press RIGHT/LEFT key to select a language.
[Country] Press RIGHT/LEFT key to select your country of residence.
[Channel Search] Press RIGHT or OK key to begin Automatic channel search.
Once channel tuning is complete, you can start watching digital TV programs.
MENU
To access the Menu, press the SETUP button and select [Program]. Use the RIGHT/LEFT keys to navigate
through the menu. Select an option and press OK or RIGHT to adjust the setting. Press the EXIT button to
exit the Menu.

1. PROGRAM
Program Edit
To edit your program preferences (lock, skip, favorite, move or delete), you will need to enter the Program
Edit Menu. This Menu requires a password to access and the default password is “000000”.
Set Favorite Channels
You can create a list of favorite channels that you can easily access.
1. Select your desired channel then press the Favorite button.
A heart-shaped symbol will appear and the channel is marked as a favorite channel.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more Favorite channel.
3. To confirm and exit the Menu, press the EXIT key.
View Favorite Channel
1. While in normal viewing mode, press Favorite button and the Favorite Menu will appear.
2. Press UP/DOWN to browse through your Favorite Channels.
3. Press OK to select your favorite channel.

Disable Favorite Channel
Select the Favorite channel and press the Favorite button on the remote control to cancel the Favorite
Channel.
Delete Channel
1. Select the program and then press the BLUE button. A warning message will appear. Press OK to
confirm to delete the channel.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more channels to delete.
Skip Channel
1. Select the channel you would like to skip and press the GREEN button. A skip symbol is displayed. The
channel is marked as a skipped channel.
2. Repeat the previous step to skip more channels.
3. To save your settings and exit the menu, press EXIT key.
Disable the Skip Channel Function
Select the Skipped channel and press the GREEN button on the remote control to cancel it.

Press UP/DOWN to move the channel.
Press OK to confirm.
Repeat the above steps to move more channels.
To save your settings and exit the menu, press EXIT key.
Lock Program
You can lock selected programs for restricted viewing.
1. Select the preferred channel then press the YELLOW button. A lock-shaped symbol is displayed. The
channel is now marked as locked.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more channels.
3. To confirm your settings and exit the menu, press the EXIT button.
4. Press the YELLOW button to disable the locking.
5. To view the locked channel, you will be asked to enter either the password (default password is
“000000”.

EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
The EPG is an on-screen TV guide that shows scheduled programs seven days in advance for every
channel. Press the EPG button on the Remote Control to access the guide.
You can use the UP/DOWN key to select the preferred program. If there is more than one page of
information, use the BLUE button for page up and the YELLOW button for page down.
Sort
Sort your channels from the following options:
[By LCN] - Sort the channels in ascending order.
[By Service Name] - Sort the channels in alphabetical order.
[By Service ID] - Sort the channels according to the station.
[By ONID] - Sort the channels according to ONID.
LCN (Logical Channel Number)
Set LCN on or off.
2. PICTURE SETTING
To access the Menu, press SETUP then select [Picture] using the RIGHT/LEFT key. The Menu provides
options to adjust the picture setting. Press UP/DOWN to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust
that setting. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
Aspect Ratio
You can change this setting, if the picture does not appear to the right proportion. Options include 16:9
Wide Screen, Auto, 4:3 Full, 4:3 Pan&Scan and 4:3 Letter Box.

Resolution
You can change this setting if the picture resolution does not appear to be correct. This setting is to match
the most common setting.
[480p] : for NTSC TV system
[576p] : for PAL TV system
[720p] : for NTSC or PAL TV system
[1080i] : for NTSC or PAL TV system
TV Format
If the picture does not appear to be correct you can change this setting.
[NTSC] : for NTSC system TV.
[PAL] : for PAL system TV.
3. CHANNEL SEARCH
To access the menu, press SETUP select [Channel Search] using the RIGHT/LEFT keys.
Press UP/DOWN to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the setting .Press EXIT to exit the
Menu.
Auto Search
This option will automatically search for channels and save them once the scanning is complete. All
previously saved channels and settings will be deleted.
1. Select [Auto Search] and press OK or RIGHT to start channel search.
2. To cancel channel search, press EXIT. Any channels that have been found will be saved.

Manual Search
This option allows you to scan for new channels without deleting previously saved channels and settings.
1. Select [Manual Search] then press OK or RIGHT. The channel search screen will appear.
2. Press the RIGHT/LEFT key to select the channel frequency.
3. Press OK to start searching channels.
If a channel is found, it is saved and added to the channels list. If channels cannot be found during
searching, the DVD player will exit automatically.
Country
Select the preferred country.
4. TIME
To access the Menu, press SETUP then select [Time] using the RIGHT/LEFT keys. The Menu provides
options to adjust the time settings.
Press UP/DOWN to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the settings. Press EXIT to exit the
menu.
Time Offset
Select auto or manual for GMT offset adjustments.
Country Region
Select the Country Region when [Time Offset] is set to Auto.

Time Zone
Select the Time Zone Offset when [Time Offset] is set to Manual.
Sleep
Select auto power off from 1 to 12 hours.
Power On/Off
Set the specific auto power off time.
5. OPTION
To access the Menu, press SETUP and select [Option] using the RIGHT/LEFT keys. The menu provides
options to adjust the OSD Language, Subtitle Language and Audio Language.
Select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the setting.
Press EXIT to exit the Menu.
OSD (On Screen Display) Language
Select an OSD language.
Subtitle Language
Select the preferred subtitle language.
Audio Language
Select the preferred audio language of TV channels.
If the language is not available, the default program language will be used.

6. SYSTEM
To access the Menu, press SETUP and select [System] using the RIGHT/LEFT keys. The menu provides
options to adjust the system settings.
Press the UP/DOWN key to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the setting. Press EXIT to
exit the Menu.
Parental Guidance
Age limit from 4 to 18 years old.
Set Password
Set or change the password for locked programs. Enter your old password or the default password
“000000”. You will then be asked to enter your new password. Press OK button to confirm your new
password.
Once it is confirmed, press EXIT to exit the Menu.
Restore Factory Default
In Main Menu select [Restore Factory Default] using the RIGHT/LEFT keys and press OK or RIGHT key to
select. Enter your password (default password is “000000”) and press OK to confirm. This option will delete
all preset channels and settings.

This is for the factory’s use but not for end user.

To access the Menu, press the SETUP button and select [USB] using the RIGHT/LEFT keys. The menu
provides options to playback Music, Photo and Multimedia files. It can support AVI, WMA, MPEG-4, AAC,
MP3, JPEG and BMP formats.
The unit will support USB device with FAT32/NTFS file system.
Multimedia
When a USB device is inserted in to the USB port (either USB (DVD) or USB (DVB-T) depending on which
mode is in) you can select from the Music, Photo or Movie options in this menu using the RIGHT/LEFT
keys and OK to select. If a USB device is not connected, the warning message "No USB device is Found"
will appear.
Press OK to enter full screen and press Play / Pause to start the slide show.

GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the following points before assuming malfunctions of this unit.
FAILURE
CAUSE AND SOLUTION
There is no power / charging.
1. Check that the plug of the power cable has been inserted in the power socket
appropriately.
2. Check that the power has been turned on.
The machine does not read the
disc.
1. Check that the power has been turned on.
2. Check that the disc has been inserted in the drive with the labeling surface
facing upward.
3. Check that the disc is inserted appropriately.
4. The disc has been damaged or dirty. Please change or clean the disc.
5. The machine has become damp. Take out the disc and charge the machine for
1 to 2 hours.
6. The disc and machine have different region codes.
7. The disc has a wrong format.
No image is played.
1. Make sure that the connected TV set has been turned on and is set to the AV
state of the machine.
2. Make sure that the audio output of the “Audio Setting” in the menu has been
set correctly.
3. Check that the cable has been connected appropriately.
4. Clean the disc.
5. Make sure that the screen display switch is in its normal position without been
pressed down.
The image is indistinct.
1. The disc has been damaged or become dirty.
2. Rest the output of the TV set or DVD player.
The disc damage indication
appears
The disc has been damaged. Please replace it with a new disc.
The image cannot be played in
full size on the screen.
1. Reset the system of the TV set.
It fails to select the song.
Some discs do not allow the user to change their pre-set play sequence for some
sections.
The remote control does not
work.
1. Check that there are no obstacles between the remote control and TV set.
2. Select the correct screen format from the DVD Set menu.
2. Make sure that the remote control points to the receiver of the TV set.
3. Make sure that the remote control has been installed correctly.
4. Make sure that the battery is charged.

There is no sound output or the
audio output is incomplete.
1. Make sure that the TV set or amplifier has been turned on and set
appropriately.
2. Make sure that the TV set or amplifier does not have a system connection
shield.
3. Make sure that the system is not in the Mute state.
4. Press the channel or language key to change the state.
5. The machine does not have audio output in the following states: pause, single
step, slow forward, slow rewind, fast forward and fast rewind.
6. The volume output of the TV set is too low.
