Viewing images with a computer Windows The images on the memory card should be copied to the computer hard disk. Open the utility folder, and then open the appropriate OS and language folders. While pressing the Dial Lock Release at the center of the exposure dial, turn the dial to the full-auto program position. When this mode is selected, some camera settings are reset automatically. If the driver is properly installed, a drive icon, or volume, should appear in My Computer when the camera is connected to the computer. If the driver cannot be installed automatically, it can be installed manually with the operating system’s add-new-hardware wizard. Follow the instruction in the manual installation section in the camera instruction manual. Installing DiMAGE Viewer Windows Me/2000 Professional/XP 1. Click once on the unplug-or-eject-hardware icon located on the task bar. 2. Click on the small window to stop the device. 3. The safe-toremove-hardware window opens. Click “OK.” Windows 98/98SE Confirm that the access lamp is not lit. Turn off the camera and then disconnect the USB cable. Mac OS DiMAGE Viewer is a convenient solution for viewing and processing images quickly and easily. Images can be viewed with recording information. Images can be sorted. A wide variety of basic and advanced image processing tools are available. RAW files can be opened and processed. (Continued above.) Confirm that the access lamp is not lit.
