Fully Convergent Multifunctional Gateway

The bintec TR200 is a multifunctional gateway designed for versatility and flexibility with a huge variety of professional features from routing, WLAN, telephony, VoIP and FoIP (T.38). Besides the conventional telephone interfaces a maximum of 10 SIP subsidiaries and 10 SIP providers are supported. It was specially developed for high-speed Internet access and can also be used for remote access in small to medium-sized enterprises or remote offices. Standardly equipped with a 4-port switch, the device also includes 5 IPSec tunnels ex works (default). With release 7.6.1 in addition 5 PPTP tunnels can be added after web activation for free.

For the connection to a trunk the basic version offers an analog and an ISDN exchange connection, which can be used alternatively. Two analog ports and an internal ISDN bus provide the direct connection of terminal devices. Furthermore SIP terminal devices (IP telephones, soft clients, etc.) can be registrated at bintec TR200. You are able to register at up to 10 SIP providers.

The control of the firewall and voice-data prioritization are assumed automatically by the bintec TR200 to simplify configuration. A 4-channel DSP for voice-data processing has been integrated into the router to guarantee high voice quality.

As a wireless router, the bintec TR200 supports the 802.11b/g standards with a gross throughput rate of 54

MBps. In addition to WEP encryption, the secure WPA or WPA2 mode for the use of preshared keys or inclusion of a Radius server is available to make sure that data transmission via the air interface remains secure. Access checks are already made at the port level via 802.1x. The multi-SSID function makes it possible to form several different user groups, each with their own privileges. With a push-button the WLAN modul can be switch off completely. A HTML user interface is available to employ the configuration of the routers.

The configuration of the devices takes place via console or alternatively via the Funkwerk Configuration

Interface (FCI). The FCI is a web-based graphical user interface, which is accessable from every PC with a current web-browser via HTTP or HTTPS connection. The encrypted SSL communication enables a secure configuration of the TR200.
