The INSTABUS blind actuator REG-K/2x(1x230)/10 has
two channels (can be controlled individually by the
bus) for controlling blind/roller shutter motors with limit switches. The drives can be controlled in two directions (UP/DOWN, left/right or OPEN/CLOSED). A
maximum of 1 blind/roller shutter motor may be connected per channel.

The INSTABUS blind actuator is a DIN rail mounted device (REG) and is mounted on a DIN rail according to
EN50022-35. A data rail is not required. The bus connection is carried out via the bus connecting terminal
supplied with the device. The cable cover is then
placed over the bus connecting terminal to guarantee
the safety clearance of the bus cable to the 230 V cables. A maximum of 4 core pairs can be connected to
the bus connecting terminal.
The cables to the blinds and the mains voltage are connected via plug-in terminals with a screw connection.
The cables can be screwed onto the plug-in terminal
before installing the device and then inserted at a later
date. The insertion of the terminal may not take place
under load. All the devices that are mounted next to
the blind actuator must at least be equipped with basic
insulation. It is displayed via two LEDs per channel
whether mains voltage is present at the blind for upward/downward movement. The green operating LED
only lights up if the application program has been loaded correctly into the device.

Caution!
Switch off the mains voltage before connecting
the device to the load.
The switch outputs have bistable relays. The
switch contact of the outputs can become conductive due to strong vibrations during transport. Voltage may be present at the outputs
when the mains voltage is connected to the system! After commissioning, the outputs are moved to the required position by telegrams.
The minimum reversing time (pause on change
in direction) specified by the motor manufacturer must be observed for the connected motors.
If shorter reversing times are selected for the
blind actuator than those specifed for the motor,
it can lead to the motor being damaged.
The idle time (reversing time) of the blind actuator can
be set between 520 ms and 10.4 s in the latest application.
