PG-FlexPlusTM FMK-822 List 1 Pole Mounting Kit
Quick Installation Guide
This document dscribes the process for pole mounting the
PG-FlexPlus PCS-822 Field Shelf or ARX-965 Crossbox
Remote Terminal (RT) using the FMK-822 List 1 Pole
Mounting Kit.
Unless otherwise indicated, “Enclosure”
refers to the PCS-822 Field Shelf and the
ARX-965 Crossbox RT.
The following instructions assume you
will be mounting the Enclosure to wood
pole. If you are mounting the Enclosure
to a non-wood pole, follow the
appropriate local practice for mounting
the Field Shelf.
2. Place the Mounting Bracket on the Enclosure and align
the mounting holes on the Mounting Bracket with the
threaded holes on the Enclosure.
The Pole Mounting Kit includes 10-32
and 1/4 x 20 hardware. Select the
appropriate hardware for mounting the
Field Shelf or Crossbox RT to the
Mounting Bracket.

1. While holding the Mounting Bracket against the wood
pole, mark the location for the two 3/8” x 5” lag screws
at the top and bottom of the bracket.

2. Tighten the lag screws to secure the assembly to the
pole.
3. Secure the Enclosure cables to the pole following local
practice.
2. Drill a pilot hold for each lag screw.
3. Install the lag screws included with the mounting kit,
leaving the screws out far enough from the pole so the
Mounting Bracket can be slid over the heads of the lag
screws.
1. Place the Enclosure on a flat surface with the side to be
mounted toward the pole facing up (Figure 1).
1. Lift the assembly and hang the mounting bracket on
the two lag screws previously installed in the pole
(Figure 2).
3. Attach the Mounting Bracket to the Enclosure using
the appropriate hardware included with the mounting
kit.

The PCS-822 Field Shelf has four
threaded holds for attaching the
Mounting Bracket. The ARX-965
Crossbox RT has three threaded holes
for attaching the Mounting Bracket.
