Dual-port with 10GbE Network Adapter
adapters is designed for the high bandwidth and
scalability demands of enterprise applications,
more scalable virtualization with support for
RDMA traffic over Converged Ethernet (RoCE)
fabric, enhanced Single-Root I/O Virtualization
(SR-IOV) and NIC port partitioning, as well as
next-generation overlay network technologies that
address the requirements virtual machine (VM)
mobility and massive scaling of Layer 2 subnets
inside private or hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Network Adapter Emulex OCe14102
The Fujitsu Network Adapter “Emulex OCe14102”
is from the fourth generation of the Emulex
OneConnect® product line OCe14000. The OCe14000
family of Ethernet network adapters provides high
performance 10Gb Ethernet (10GbE) connectivity
delivering multiple benefits for the enterprise
cloud, including increasing data center IT agility
and scalability through the deployment of a secure
multi-tenant cloud. This optimizes server hardware
utilization by scaling high density virtualization
as well as delivering user-controlled bandwidth
partitioning across workloads and management
services. The Network Adapter OCe14102 is not a
Converged Network Adapter (CNA); the adapter
is only an NIC and does not have storage off-load
functions (iSCSI and FCoE).
The OCe14000 family of 10Gb Ethernet network

Ethernet cards enable data exchange between all
the devices connected in a local network (LAN).
A networked IT infrastructure that functions well is of
great significance when managing and controlling
critical business processes in a company. The wide
range of complex information transported across the
network relies on fast and reliable data processing
by the network cards.
The cards offer at least one Ethernet interface which
is designed for the respective network types and
network architectures. The bus interface links the
network card with the server.
