Network Video Recorder
※ This is a brief manual for quick and convenient reference.
Please refer to the User Manual contained in CD for details.
※ Some contents may differ depending on the model and version.

1. Getting Started
1.1 User Login
1) After turning on the system, login window is shown up.
2) Click the keyboard icon to call virtual keypad and input password.
Default ID and Password are “Admin” and “1234”.
3) If the system is set as [AUTO LOGON], login process is not necessary.
In this case, the system does not ask ID and password after turning on.
4) Click [OK].
1.2 Startup Wizard
At the first startup, Startup Wizard pops up automatically. The system can be setup, easily, by following the steps. User can open
Startup Wizard screen at any time by clicking Startup Wizard
in tool bar.
1) Language
Select Language based on your preference.
2) Date/Time & HDD format
Set a proper Time/Date based on your time zone.
User has to format new HDD before use. Select the HDD to format.
3) Network Setting & Camera Setting
Select the Network Type and input IP address and corresponding setting for NVR.
In the Camera menu, user can add and setup camera.

4) Finish
Click [FINISH] to save and exit from the Startup Wizard. To move to previous step, click [PREVIOUS].
2. System Operation
2.1 PoE Camera Connection
PoE camera is automatically connected in a few minutes when the camera is plugged to the PoE port and the channel title of the
screen is shown as green color.
PoE camera’s network setting must be set as ‘DHCP’ before connecting to NVR.
But, some cameras which support ‘Auto IP(or Zero Configuration)’ are not required DHCP setting. These camera’s IP setting is
automatically controlled by NVR.
2.2 How to connect & set IP Camera
Go to Camera Menu(Menu > Record > Camera).

1) Search
① Click [SEARCH] button to search all cameras which are under the same network(Router).
Some cameras which support ‘Auto IP(or Zero Configuration)’ can be
searched even it has the different IP address range from the NVR.

② Select camera to register and click [GET PROFILE] to read profile of

the camera.
③ When [GET PROFILE] button is clicked, NVR assigns channel
number of empty channel, automatically. If necessary, user can
select specific channel number.

④ [DETAIL INFO] button allows user to check the camera information in
detail.

⑥ Click [SETUP] button to register the selected camera to the NVR. If

necessary ID and Password should be input.
2) Easy Search
① Click [EASY SEARCH] button to search camera.
② Select camera in the list and drag and drop it to the channel which user want to put. (While it is moving, mouse pointer is

Click [APPLY] button to finish the process.
3) Auto Search
Once the user clicks [AUTO] button, NVR searches all cameras under the same network (Router) and register them in order,
automatically.
It is not recommendable in case that there are multiple NVRs in the same site. It is because the same camera can be connected
to the multiple NVRs. In this case, user is recommended to use the following method (4).
4) Multi Select


① Click [SEARCH] button to search cameras.
② After searching cameras, user can find camera list.
Then, user can change line up as per each property(Protocol, IP
Address, Hardware & Name) by clicking each property tabs.
The
selected property is shown as yellow/green.
③ Choose [MULTI SELECT] and select multiple cameras whish user

wants to register to the NVR. Selected camera is changed into green
color.
④ When the [APPLY] button is clicked, camera is registered one by one

from the top. The registered camera is shown as unselected.
Note
During the registration process of Multi Select, if there is a camera which has a different IP range or requires ID &
Password, the process is paused and NVR requests input the required information. In this case, user should input
the required information for the camera which is on the top out of selected cameras.
If there is a camera which has d different IP range, NVR asks to change IP. Then, user can input IP manually or set
DHCP or make IP set automatically.
2.3 Using Tool Bar
Move the mouse cursor to the low part of the screen to open the hidden Tool
Bar.

2.4 Using Pop-Up Menu
Click the right button of the mouse to open pop-up menu.

User can select display mode by using tool bar or pop-up menu. User can check the current status with the following icons on the

2.6 Search and Playback Mode
When the playback icon(
) on the Tool Bar is clicked, NVR playback the latest video clip. When the search icon(
user can search the recorded image by Calendar, Date/Time, System Log and so on.
2.7 Quick Backup Mode
User can easily archive video image under playback mode.
1) Click [ENTER] button of the front panel to start backup.
“Quick Backup Start” is displayed on the main screen.
2) In order to stop backup, click [ENTER] button of the front panel again.
Then, menu screen pops-up.
3) Select backup device(USB CD/DVR or USB Memory Stick) and start backup.

4. Remote Software
4.1 CMS (Central Management System)
CMS (Central Management System) is a centralized management solution that offers user full flexibility to control the entire system
over the network, and consists of 4 functional modules, System Monitoring, Image Display, E-Map and System Configuration.

5. Web Operation by Explorer
The system is equipped with built-in web server, thus, user can be connected to the system by ordinary web-browser for live
monitoring, playback or remote configuration.
5.1 Setting in Web Browser
1) Input IP address or mac address.
(ex, http://123.123.123.123,
http://00231c381f2d.dynlink.net,
http://domain name.dynlink.net)
2) After downloading Active-X file, input user ID and password in Login
page.

5.2 Web Monitoring & Playback
1) Click [Web Monitoring] or [Playback] button].
2) Select the channel number or [All Channel], and then click
[CONNECT] button.
5.3 Remote Configuration
1) Click [Setup] button to open menu screen.
2) User can remotely make full setting of the NVR.
This Remote Configuration is allowed to [admin] user only.
6. Mobile Monitoring(MobileViewerPro)
6.1 Installation
1) iPhone
Download [MobileViewerPro] application from “APP Store” and install.
2) Android Phone Download [MobileViewerPro] application from ‘PlayStore” and install.
6.2 Operation
① Input Site Information

Site Name
: Input Site Name

IP/Address
: Input IP address or Mac address or Domain Name.

Site Port
: Input TCP/IP port (Default : 9010)

User ID
: Input NVR user ID (Default : admin)

Password
: Input NVR password (Default : 1234)
(ex, 123.123.123.123, 00231c381f2d.dynlink.net, domain name. dynlink.net)
② Save(OK)
③ Connect(CONNECT)

Depending on the network mode, it costs a lot for data downloading.
