The Kongsberg Maritime 0500-6000 High Definition IP
Zoom Subsea Camera is a cost effective, fixed, Internet
Protocol (IP) underwater camera designed for use in
remote site applications such as Renewable Energy
Platforms, Environmental Monitoring Hubs, Port &
Harbour Security and Fishery Research. The camera has
been designed to work across existing network
infrastructures so the operator can log and view the
images from any PC hosting the communication
software.
There is also an optional PoE (Power over Ethernet)
function available allowing the camera to be powered
through the Ethernet.
The camera also has an integrated IR LED illumination
which provides an extra light source when being used in
wet/dry applications such as Anchor Bolster monitoring
or Pipe Laying operations
The 0500-6000 utilises an industry leading HDTV sensor
and supports H.264 and Motion JPEG in full frame rate
with variable frame rate and bandwidth control. The
camera also benefits from a 18x optical zoom with an
additional 12x digital zoom capability.
The standard anodised aluminium housing provides
effective protection from corrosion and is pressure rated
up to 1,000 msw. A titanium housing option is also
available.
