Welcome to KASHIN 123
Let’s look at your new POS system,
the basic hardware package consists of:
•Samsung Tablet 10.1”
•Kashin 123 Tablet Base
•Bematech Receipt Printer MP4200E
•Bematech Cash Drawer CD415
•Card Reader
KASHIN Installation Steps
Printer – Only 3 cables will be connected to the printer
•Connect the power cable to the printer and the power outlet.
•Connect the internet cable to the printer and the router (the router must
be the same router from where the table will the WiFi connection.
•Connect the cable that is attached in the drawer to the printer
Drawer
•The drawer has only one cable attached to it (similar in appearance to a
telephone cable). Connect the other end of this cable to the printer.
Scanner (wireless)
•Connected through Bluetooth (place battery into the Scanner).
Table Top Display
•Connected through Bluetooth (power cable needs to be connected).
Printer Installation
Once the tablet displays the main screen Press on the
top right corner

Press “Settings”
Press “Printer settings” second option on the left.
Press the “Magnifying Glass” icon located on the top right corner left.

Once an IP address is shown on the “search”, touch the check-mark box on
the right hand side and press SELECT
Press the back button located at the bottom left corner to return to the main
screen, and touch (no-sale) this will test the drawer to see if it opens fine.

Scanner Installation
Make sure the scanner is on…
•Place a finger on the clock and swipe it upward in order to open the
Settings menu.
•Press the Settings option
•Press the Bluetooth Button

•Turn the Bluetooth on and press the SCAN button
•Once scanning, it will find a device called BR-800BT or the BR-200BT
which are the scanners.
•Press it, and it will ask you for a pin code

•Enter the pin code is 12345678 and press OK to pair the scanner with
the tablet.
•After entering the pin code the scanner will show as paired.

The device is now paired with the tablet however the scanner needs to be detected
thru the Kashin software. Reload Kashin software and press the menu option on top
right, select settings.
From the settings menu, choose scanner settings on the left side. Next press the
magnifying Glass on top right to detect the BR-800BT or BR-200BT scanner.

Select the detected scanner.
Return to the Main Screen

Table Top Installation
Connect Display to the power
Once in the Settings menu press the Bluetooth button and select Scan
Once the display is detected a the following dialog will appear. Select the
detected device.
The selected device is now listed as a Configured display.
Press the back button to return to the Main Screen.

Bluetooth scanners
Follow your particular scanner model quick start guide instruction to learn
how setup the scanner and to configure it SPP Slave Mode to support
Android connection with the device. Further information on connecting
scanner and operating the scanner can be found on topic “Barcode
Scanners”.
Bluetooth customer display
Follow customer display quick start guide instruction to learn how to
setup the hardware and how to pair the display with your device. Further
information on connecting and operating the customer display can be found
on topic “Customer Display Settings and Operation”.
How to sign-in?
Whenever the application is started or when a user is switched, the
application will request a user number and Password. Each employee can
have a user name and password.
By default the user number is: 001 and the Password: 1111
Once you type the user and password, and press the Sign-In button, the
application will complete a Sync (update), and then it will load the application.

How to add an employee?
•From the main screen, select the Employees
option,
•On the Employees window, touch
top right corner,

•Enter the employee information and then Save the
changes. In order to open the on-screen keyboard,
touch the field where you need to enter the information
and the system will automatically display the keyboard.

How to add the Inventory (Departments, Categories, and Products)?
Departments, Categories and Products are 3 levels under
the Inventory option. A store may have several or one
Department; in a Department there may be one or several
Categories; and in a Category a store can have one or
more products.
In order to add a Department…
•From the main screen, select the Inventory option,
•On the Inventory window, touch

on the top right corner, and select Manage
Departments in order to edit, add, or delete a
Department
•In order to add a Department, press the
on
the top right corner, type the name of the new
department, and press Confirm
Once you press confirm, the tablet will display the
Department that was created.
•Press
located at the bottom left corner and
the tablet will display the Inventory window.
In order to add a Category…
•Select the Inventory option

•On the Inventory window, touch

top right corner, and select Manage Categories in
order to edit, add, or delete, Category
•The screen will display the Categories that had been
created. In order to add a Category, press the
on the top right corner, select the Department where
you want to add the Category, type the name of the
new department, and press Confirm

tablet will display the Inventory window.
In order to add a Product… (manually)
•Select the Inventory option
•On the left hand side of the tablet, the screen will
display a list of Categories that have previously been
created. Select the category where you want to add
the product and then press

right corner,

•Enter the product information. In order to open
the on-screen keyboard, touch the field where
you need to enter the information and the system
will automatically display the keyboard. Use
located at the bottom left corner to close the
keyboard.
Once you enter the product information, SAVE the
changes to finish the entry.
How to add a customer?
•From the main screen, select the Customers
option,
•On the Customers window, touch

on the top right corner. The tablet will display the
Add Customer window where you can add the
Customer information
•Enter the customer information and then Save
the changes. In order to open the on-screen
keyboard, touch the field where you need to enter
the information and the system will automatically
display the keyboard. Use

bottom left corner to close the keyboard
•The tablet will display the Customers screen. Press
located at the bottom left corner in order to
return to the main screen.

How to clock in/out?
•From the main screen, press Clock In (or Clock Out)
•Enter the user number (same number used to log in)
and press Clock In (or clock out). Each employee can
have a user number,
•The tablet will show you a confirmation. Press OK
and it will return to the main screen.
How to open/close a shift?
Open Shift
•From the main screen, press Open Shift
•Enter the opening amount of money and press Accept
The tablet will display the main screen. The opening
amount will be shown on the top of the screen.

Close shift
•From the main screen, press Close Shift
•Type cash in the drawer and press the Accept
button.
The tablet will give the merchant the option to process
a report of the shift. This report can be printed,
e-mailed, or shown on the screen.
•Press Close and the tablet will return to the main
menu
How to perform a sale?
Manual Sale
•From the main screen, select the Register option,
•Select New Order
•Touch the Category (on the left hand side) where
the product is under, and select the product(s)
desired on the right hand side.

If products are selected through the scanner, scan the
product(s), press Pay, and select payment method (see
Payment Method in the following steps
•Once the desired products are selected, press Pay.
•Select the payment type (Cash or credit card)
CREDIT CARD: the tablet will ask to swipe the
card through the card swiper connected on the
top of the tablet. If the transaction is approved,
the tablet will display “Operation Completed
Successfully”. Press Continue to complete the
transaction.
1) Please, Swipe the card to proceed. CASH: If the customer is paying with Cash,
type or select the cash received and press
Accept.
•In both, Cash and Credit Card payment, the tablet
will give the merchant the option to e-mail and/or
print the receipt. Once Finish is selected, the Tablet
will display the main screen

2) When the tablet shows “Operation Completed Successfully”, press Continue. How to perform a return?
•Touch
located on the top right corner
•Select the transaction that needs to be returned
•Press Return
•Confirm the operation and print the “Void” receipt
if needed.
How to perform a prepaid sale?
•From the main screen, select the Register option,
•Select Prepaid
on the top right corner

•Select the Prepaid Category, choose the card,
enter the amount, and press Next.
After you press Next the tablet will go to the
payment process.
•Select the payment type (Cash or credit card)
CREDIT CARD: the tablet will ask
to swipe the card through the
card swiper connected on the top
of the tablet. If the transaction
is approved, the tablet will
display “Operation Completed
Successfully”. Press Continue to
complete the transaction

Reports
•From the main screen, select the Reports
option
•Once on the Reports window, select Sales
under the Sales column.
The screen will display the transactions that
have been processed during the current shift
(including Voids).
How to add a product using a scanner?
Optional Scanner
•Select the Inventory option
•On the left hand side of the tablet, the
screen will display a list of Categories
that have previously been created. Select
the category where you want to add the
product and then press
located on the
top right corner

•Once on the Inventory Window, scan the
product and the bar code will automatically
be added on the Product Code field
•Enter the product information. In order to
open the on-screen keyboard, touch the field
where you need to enter the information
and the system will automatically display the
keyboard. Use
located at the bottom left
corner to close the keyboard.
Once you enter the product information, Save the
changes to finish the entry.
If the merchant scans a product that has not been
registered in the system, the tablet will display:
Press Add, and the system will direct you to the
Inventory Window. Select the Category where
you want to add the product, and then add the
product information.
Virtual Office
The Kashin 123 solution provides a Virtual Office to help you manage your business. The Virtual Office
enables you to administer your employees’ access levels, manage your inventory, manage your customers, and
monitor your financials through a wide range of comprehensive reports. The following sections describe the
Virtual Office functionality and reporting capabilities.
To access the Virtual Office:
1. Go to http://www.kaching123.com.
2. Enter your Email Address and Password.
The Virtual Office Web Dashboard is displayed.
The various screens available to you from the
Web Dashboard will share some common icons
and buttons with similar functionalities, as
shown below.
Edit / Modify an Item/Option
Remove an Item/Option
Add an Item/Option
Mark an Option as the preferred one (default)

Activation Shop
1. You can reach the activation via the dashboard on the top right
2. Or via prepaid once selecting register module.

Activate SIM with Plan option
1. Select desired carrier.
2. Select “Activation with Plan” and “New Activation”.
3. Select a desired denomination.
4. Fill–in the “Required fields”.
5. The SIM is now activated
Additional information such as the Customer’s First
Name and Email Address can be entered in the
“Optional Fields” panel.
A receipt can be printed or emailed to the customer.
