BEGIN SESSION
Walk up to Extron Controller; screen will illuminate. Select a Button on the bottom of
the screen for Projection system (see image #1). The following screen will appear for
the projection system, (see image# 2).

HDMI SOURCE

Select Use Projection System and press button HDMI PORT when using a
portable video source, such as a laptop, camcorder, etc. (see Image #2). The
HDMI cable is located in the Cable Cubby for you Display Device. (see image
#3)
LOCAL COMPUTER
1. The built-in Windows computer can be powered up by accessing the machine
through a cut out located in the teaching station cabinet.
2. Select Use Projection System and press LOCAL PC button on Extron controller to
view local computer (see Image #2).
TO DISPLAY VIDEO (DVD)

Select Use Projection System on Extron controller (see Image #1).
As there is no DVD Player in this Space, a PC must be used to display a DVD.
Press the PC button on Extron controller to view DVD.
Insert the DVD to the DVD/CD Drive
Select a program such as Windows Media Player or VLC to display DVD.

DOCUMENT CAMERA
Select Use Projection System and press button DOC CAM on Extron Controller
(see Image #1 and 2).
DOCUMENT CAMERA ASSEMBLY & CONTROLS
1. Grasp green ring and pull up (see Images #4A and #4B).
2. Grasp camera head and rotate camera up (see Images #4C and #4D).
3. Auto-focus on/off and Zoom in/out buttons are on camera (see close-up Image #4E).
4. Power and Light buttons are on base (see close-up Image #4F).

DOCUMENT CAMERA CONTROL
1. Press the POWER ON/OFF button located on the left side of the Extron Controller
Panel
2. Press the LIGHT ON/OFF button located next to the POWER button
3. Place media on Document Camera stage. The unit will auto focus and adjust
brightness automatically.
4. Use the Zoom In/Out and Focus Near/Far to adjust the Zoom and Focus of the
Document Camera.
5. A remote for the Document Camera is located in the accessory drawer in the
teaching station. All basic functions can be performed without the remote. However
some advanced functions can be done only with the remote. For the advanced
functions please contact ITS for a demonstration and/or training at 3-5659.

MONITOR CONTROLS
 To adjust what source is displayed on the Teaching Station Monitor, Select
Monitor Source and then Local PC, Camera, HDMI, or Doc Cam in the
Monitor Display Panel, (See image: Source)

CAMERA CONTROL
1. Open the desired program that is compatible and uses the Classroom Camera
2. Press Camera Control button on the Extron Controller (see image#2: Switcher)
3. The following screen will appear on the Extron Controller. (See Image Camera
Control)
4. Select the Camera that needs to be adjusted by selecting Camera 1/Camera 2
buttons.
5. Use Arrows to adjust the Camera shot.
6. Use Zoom in/out to zoom the camera shot closer and further away
7. Use loaded presets (numbered) for more camera shots
8. Press Return on bottom right screen to close CAMERA CONTROL

AUDIO ADJUST


To adjust the Audio use the VOLUME panel on the right side of the Main
Extron Controller screen (see image #2: Switcher). Pressing the speaker
icons will allow the user to turn the volume up or down. Volume can be
adjusted for the Program Volume and the Microphone Volume.
Press the Mute button to Mute/Unmute the Sound for the
Program/Microphone Volume.

There are wireless handheld and Lavaliere microphones
located in the accessory drawer. To use the wireless
Lavaliere microphone:
 Clip the microphone transmitter to belt or slip in
pocket. Always leave antenna exposed. Microphone should
be attached, unobstructed on clothing about 6” away from
mouth. Press and hold power button located behind door
lower front of transmitter. The display will then be
illuminated on the front top of transmitter.
 Adjust volume as desired by using MICROPHONE
volume controls (see Image #2)

PROJECTOR CONTROLS



To adjust the Projector Image press the buttons in the Display Menu on the left
side of the Extron Controller, (see image#2).
The projection image may be muted with the Mute button. The button will blink
when selected.
Press ON/Off to turn On/off the Projector.
SCREEN CONTROLS




To adjust the Projector Screen press Screen Control button on the left side of
the Extron Controller, (see image# 2).
The following screen will appear, (Image Screen Controls)
Press the UP/DOWN/STOP buttons to control the movement/direction of the
Screen
Press CLOSE button to close the screen.


Once starting the AV system and selecting a source on the Extron Controller, the
Wacom monitor will be able to be used. (See image Wacom) The Wacom is an
interactive monitor which acts as a Monitor for the Display Source, a Note
Taking Device, and as a Touch Screen device.
WACOM MONITOR
To use the Wacom as a Monitor simply select source, such as PC (see image #1
Switcher). Make sure the Wacom is turned on by pressing the power button
located on the Wacom. Further options may be adjusted by pressing the menu
button (see image Wacom).
WACOM TOUCH SCREEN/NOTE TAKING
1. Turn on the power for Wacom and Select Source. (see images Wacom and
Switcher)
2. Press the Touch On/Off button (see image Wacom) to make sure the touch
screen is active.

3. You may use your finger to press, drag and click the pointer
4. You may also use the Pen feature (see image Pen). The Wacom Pen is

located on the right hand side of the Wacom Monitor.
5. The pen may be used as a mouse. The Pointer will respond to where the pen
is dragged and pressed on the Wacom Monitor. The buttons located on the
Wacom Pen acts as the mouse’s left and right click.
6. To use the on screen Wacom Keyboard press the Keyboard Button as screen
in Image Wacom. A digital keyboard will appear as seen in (image
Keyboard)
7. The following keyboard will act as a standard

8. To Use the freeform option, press the button in the upper left corner of the
keyboard. (see image Keyboard). The following window will appear as seen

Pad
in image Pen Pad.
9. The pen or the user’s finger may be used to write on the solid line. The
Wacom will try to format what the user has drawn, into formatted text. Options
seen in Image Pen Pad will further edit the text, (such as join, split, delete,
correct, etc. the text)
10. The pen may also be used to draw lines/free form in certain programs, such
as in Word. (See Image Pen Tools)

WACOM PRECISION MODE
By pressing the Precision mode button as seen in Image Wacom, the user will be able
to select/isolate a portion of the monitor with their finger/Wacom pen.
